Weekend Trip to TK Ranch

We were in town for a baseball tournament in Stevensville and needed a camping spot nearby. We found TK Ranch, just about a mile off Highway 93, and only a 10-minute drive to the baseball fields. What we discovered upon arrival was a hidden paradise tucked away in the woods. The seasonal creek was running, and my dogs absolutely loved it. Even though our campsite was close to the house, we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves — so peaceful and relaxing, which was exactly what we needed after long days at the tournament. Stephen, the host, was very quick to respond and incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. The only downside was that we didn’t get to explore the nearby Kootenai Creek Trailhead, which is just half a mile away, but it’s definitely on our list for next time. Overall, I highly recommend TK Ranch and Stephen as a host. We’ll definitely be back!

1 night at Mountain Majik

What a nice, quiet and relaxed spot to stay for the night! We arrived to super frie day dogs and found ourselves camped out on a lush lawn for the night. Beautiful Arabian horses greeted us in the paddocks and 2 wonderful grey cats helped us to find our way around. The little creek pouring through the property was peaceful and calming. Views of the mountains around d the valley were spectacular. Site had water and power and a fire pit with picnic table.

There was a nice park nearby and a nice surrounding area. The campground was clean and a good stop for the night.

Weekend Trip to Creekside getaway

Don was very kind and accommodating when our ETA kept changing due to trailer brake problems, traffic, road construction and slow travel due to heavy load behind truck. Was supposed to arrive around 7pm and ended up not getting there until 10:30pm and he was there to greet us at glamping tent. Tent was cozy and in beautiful setting. Bathrooms were clean and close proximity. Would definitely stay again!

This location wasn’t far off the beaten path and just minutes from a great hike up to Sweathouse Creek Falls. There isn’t a ton of privacy at this site as there are several tiny homes and glamping sites above it but the view looking into the valley is great and the bathroom nearby very handy.

Weekend Trip to Mission Falls Ranch

This is a splendid creekside paradise, an incredibly special place. The location is unbeatable. The flowing creek, the cabin, animals, birds, tranquility, and welcoming hospitality of the hosts is incredible. The cabin is so clean, bed is comfortable, fire pit and chairs and all the thoughtful touches made it feel heavenly. The camper trailer shower is amazing and they have the cleanest portable toilet I’ve ever been in, and my goodness the animals were so friendly and adorable! This is the spot for the best camping/glamping experience. You will love staying here. Highly recommend.

Hosts were very friendly, communicative, and helpful throughout the entire stay. We enjoyed access to clean toilets and a hand washing sink that are an upgrade from a traditional porta-potties. Having access to potable water, trash bins, and the ability to use the fire pit & swinging grill with host-provided wood and kindling was so helpful and convenient. Luckily, we were solo campers because our party arrived at different times, which the host graciously accommodated. The views are incredible in all directions! Those star-filled Montana skies are nothing short of breathtaking! The small creek running behind the Glamping Tent provided a calming ambiance with a backdrop of pleasant sounds of nature heard in the distance, including owls, birds, coyotes(?), etc. It felt like we could relax and just enjoy our time together. Bed cots were comfortable, and far better than ground camping if you ask us. We camped in late May and nights are chilly. Would recommend packing in very warm blankets/sleeping bags depending on when others travel.

Beautiful spot with room for multiple sites but each site has privacy. Quiet but close to town. Easy walk to the river with a nice trail along the banks. We had plenty of room at our site with a 22' and a 30' camper and a 4Runner. Make sure you're good at backing a trailer, though. The 30' camper would not have made it around the circular drive.

Great spot with great mountain views, close to the highway yet so quiet with only the beautiful bird calls to be heard. We enjoyed the private setting, huge pine trees and the space for our dog to stretch his legs. The bathroom was clean and we really appreciated the recycling bin in addition to the garbage bin. The host met us as we drove up and directed us to our space and answered all our questions.

A small family farm working toward sustainability. Easy to access from I-90, drive in camping for a stop overnight or a home base while you explore the many attractions nearby. Learn more about this land: We are 20 miles east of Missoula, MT near the Kettlehouse Ampitheater in Bonner. Our location is halfway between Yellowstone and Glacier National Park. There are mountain bike paths, river access points for paddling, rafting or fishing within minutes of our land. We can even help you know where to go. Our land is surrounded by Nature Conservancy land with a public recreation easement, so you can hike and take your horse for a ride very easily, just let us know and we will point you in the right direction. Our child had a significant medical emergency that required a lot of travel to Seattle Children's and 3 brain surgeries all year, so we don't have the active garden going this year, but the chickens and sheep are happy. In a vehicle, you can pull into one of our pastures for your stay. Where you are depends on which field the sheep are eating! Tents also work in the field. We do not have any hookups. The fields are that - pasture fields. There are quiet neighbors across the fence. We are happy to offer advice about local attractions via messaging. This is pack it in, pack it out During the pandemic we ask that you wear a face covering if you have a reason to talk with us, even across the fence out of an abundance of caution since most of you are traveling from out of state. Tours are also temporarily suspended.

God's Country Camping

I am one mile from Hwy 93 so you can hear traffic noise sometimes. Planes do fly over once in awhile as well. This is a dry camp and rustic camping, sites are fairly far apart. This property is so beautiful and peaceful out here at night. Seasonal Spring fed pond, Ponderosa pine trees, fallen white birch, rustic and gorgeous. Some of my camp spots are on rough terrain. I always suggest you get out and walk around to see what you can manage with your vehicle. The idea of my place is more wilderness camping, there is wildlife that comes around. RV camp spots on the east and west end of the pond. Camp spot out by the wooden round pen on the west side. Completely private, borders 2000 acres of a bird sanctuary. Two blocks from Bitterroot river canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swim, trails, hiking, scenery, wildlife. My pond is spring fed, which means that is goes up and down with the seasons and run off from the snow in the mountains and collects cotton from the trees when they shed. So as the summer goes on the pond levels go way down, please be aware of that.
