1 night at Fruitdale Farm

It's a lovely property with all sorts of perks and amenities. Definitely take advantage of the sauna! I had campsite 2 and it was perfect for my hammock setup. This was a great choice to help me avoid driving through Cincinnati on my road trip.

Weekend Trip to Fruitdale Farm

Sugar shack was well placed (next to a small creek with a mini waterfall... Wouldn't be surprised if the water flow is 14 gallons per minute for the waterfall)... There are trails to walk on, which is a positive.

Creek site #2 was amazing! The hosts were very nice and friendly. The campsite has a ton of different bird species including woodpeckers, blue jays and white duck we named "Howard." We will definitely be camping here again.

Everything was great, we really enjoyed our stay on Martha's land. The sites sit just next to a great creek and there was a beautiful plot of corn growing. Martha was super responsive and helped us find our site. Would definitely stay again!

Aimee’s land is incredible. From start the finish, we had one of the best camping experiences I’ve had in a long time. Everything is well marked and thought out. Directions are very clear and I felt very comfortable wandering around the property, given the signage and well marked trails. Having a privy was helpful if you need to use it, wished we would have used the sauna but it was a sauna outside! 😂 I ran into Aimee while walking around and she is so genuinely kind and open. She really has thought of everything - when you’re staying there, you feel like you’re part of something really special. Thank you, Aimee, for your hospitality.

Site 4 was a great site, my family and I enjoyed our stay over the weekend. My boys loved playing in the creek/river and it was a nice secluded site. The trains and busy roadway noises nearby were somewhat of an issue in the middle of the night as it could be loud, however it did not dampen the overall experience. Hosts were very friendly! :)

Absolutely beautiful & serene. The hosts were beyond nice. We were greeted with homemade cookies for us & treats for our dogs. The outhouse was VERY nice as was the propane stove top. It was bougee camping for us! I have never slept so good camping, the creek noise was nice and soothing. Loved the farm animals & enjoyed walking the property. We will definitely be back.

This was one of my best Hipcamp experiences. It is a completely wild and natural setting. You have all the room you could want and access to a natural pond by your camp site. Mary is an informative and kind host as well. The Grove of large oak trees is spectacular on the "stoic oak" trail. Look forward to stopping in again.

The tent camping site was all we wanted plus more. It's a bit isolated so it's serene and quiet plus it's right by the Little Miami river. Everything is clean and up to date. It's a first class place for camping. I'm sure we'll return,

1 night at Little Darby Outdoors

I loved this place. It was rainy, so I just parked on the gravel drive instead of venturing out into the acres of grassy countryside, but I had the whole place to myself and the views were wonderful. Even though you can't hook up the RV, you have access to fresh water, hot showers, clean toilet, microwave, and some basic kitchen supplies, indoor seating/game area, and a cute kitty to cuddle. Jay was friendly and easy to work with and the location is convenient, GPS works fine with Jay's added directions for getting in the right driveway. I will definitely recommend this to by RVing friends.

Jay was an amazing host and greeted as we arrived, even though we arrived after 10PM! The property was extremely clean and well maintained. He also offers and amazing building for guests with a shower, toilet and small kitchen area with a microwave, ice maker, and coffee maker. The building also has a basement with all kinds of games like ski ball, pinball, foosball, and a Pac-Man arcade table. Really an amazing property for the price! We'll definitely be back.

We had a peaceful time tent camping with our 2 dogs. The area is very private. Mary was very responsive and easy to get ahold of, but respected your privacy at the same time.

The sites are dispersed very well so there is a ton of privacy! Site 3 is set up nicely with room for a couple of medium to large tents and a spot to park on the other side of the lane. Fantastic scenery and great spots to explore!

Primitive camping with trails, and a creek. Located at the end of E John’s St. In Blanchester Ohio. Very peaceful, and beautiful. Close to downtown restaurants and shopping, but feels like you are out in the wilderness. You must bring your own camp toilet, this is very primitive. It is not uncommon to see natural wildlife such as deer, squirrel, and raccoon. Fishing is permitted (largest one caught was 6”). Responsible fire welcome, firewood can be purchased on site. Several hiking trails on site.

For the TITUS RD DISPERSED SITE, I have a 30 day limit (longer is possible if OK'd before stay) Note, we have a rear patio porch and deck on the back of the house that we use and is in sight. 6 dogs between daughter next door (South side of barn) and us but both have fenced in yards that we try to keep the dogs in when campers are present. Dogs are harmless but do bark when they do not know you... City of Springfield is less than three miles away. A Sheets and Loves Truckstop are 300 yards away with the Loves having a dump station. Next door to this property is a BP Station and Carryout. The Loves Truckstop has a Wendys, Subway, and dog park. Sheets also has a food court. All within walking distance. Great location as Columbus is 30 min to the east, Dayton is 25 min to the west. 13 min to I 675 and 20 min to Interstate 75 N/S. I 71 N/S Columbus is 35 min away in downtown Columbus... NOTE: Little over a quarter of a mile off of Interstate 70, and on a State Route, If looking for absolute silence and desolation, this is not for you. Back off of the road but all the sounds carry.....

I have a few sites available, or set up where you want. A large fire ring area is available. You can fish, you can eat your catch or keep a few. If chicken eggs are available I will make them available to campers. You can visit the chickens and feed the catfish. These are tent sites and you may have to park your vehicle and walk to set up. Firewood is available for use at the site. We are close to several kayaking rental places along the Little Miami River, Morrow and Morgan's are close by. This would be a good spot to tent camp during the famous Todd's Fork Revival Festival in July as we are just 5 minutes from the site. I will probably be going! Mostly surrounded by a horse farm, so you may have an opportunity to see some horses out in the fields next door. Food, gas, etc. is available within 5 mins into town. Peaceful and one great place to see the stars. Sites are first come first serve on location.

We reside within the Village of Morrow, walking distance to restaurants and stores. The little Miami Bike Trail is approximately 1/4 mile from our entrance. This property is tucked away and you wouldn’t even know you’re close to town once you’re on site. Valley Vineyards is right down the road to enjoy a bottle of wine and cook your own steak dinner nights. Take a trip to visit Fort Ancient with a day hike. A Native American earthworks complex, the largest hilltop enclosure in the world and soon to be a World Heritage site! Enjoy some canoeing on the Little Miami River a State and National scenic river which is within walking distance. We have kayaks on location for the kids to play in the creek and creeks to hike with numerous fossils deposits. Southwestern Ohio is famous for its Ordovician fossil deposits. Kings Island is approximately 20 minute drive and the Ohio renaissance Festival is near. Caesars creek state park in Cowan lake state park is within a short drive. Smallmouth Bass fishing is awesome on Todd’s Fork and we have plenty of area to Wade fish.

Pack your essentials and escape to the Little Miami River Valley's best kept secret. Our off-grid cabin and tent campsite is situated on 14 acres along the National and Scenic Little Miami River. The cabin is included in the site rental, offering the flexibility to bring your own mattress/bedding or have it provided as an add-on. Once here, you'll park near the farmhouse and take a 4 minute hike over the creek, through the meadow, and into the woods. *Driving to the site is an option if you have 4WD and the ground is not too wet. Exceptions for 2WD can be made if the weather forecast and ground conditions permit. As you approach the cabin and campsite, the trail opens up to an acre of green space shaded by large Sycamore, Walnut, and other native trees. Take a dip in the river, enjoy people watching as canoeist pass, or take part with a canoe or kayak rental from a nearby business (within 3 miles). The Little Miami Trail is also less than a mile down the road so bring your bike! The composting outhouse is serviced between each stay, meaning it's emptied, sanitized, and like new for each new guest. *Depending on your group size, the host may need to service/empty the outhouse once daily. There are two established campfire locations and a picnic table is provided. *This is a family residence. The hosts live onsite and although you will not see them from your site, you will likely hear kids/adults playing outside and possibly weekend tasks such as mowing/weed eating/etc. Other "noise pollution" may come from canoeists passing by or the gun/ATV riding club which is a 1/4 mile down the river. This 5 acre property is loaded with activities! The stocked pond (catch and release) is a great place to teach your kids how to fish. You don't have to be an experienced fisherman to catch a fish in this pond! Swimming, kayaking, paddle boat, cornhole, small beach area for the little ones, and 2 acres of wooded trails for those who enjoy a peaceful walk. Wildlife is abundant and they prefer to be left alone. Please stay on the trails to preserve all vegetation. If you see a fawn or other babies, please do not touch these animals. Momma will be back! If you see one in distress, please contact the host. The community area at the gazebo offers a charcoal grill (charcoal available for purchase), seating, electric outlets, and water. Please be considerate to other guest while using this area. Trash receptacles are available at different areas on the property. Fresh eggs and produce will be available when in season. Please ask if you are interested. Campsites are located in the woods and are primitive. Sites include picnic table, fire pit, and trash can.
