Weekend Trip to Ferncrest Campground

We had a great weekend at Brian and Joanna's Fern Crest Campground. It was a last minute trip for us. We booked a Dome with 2 double beds and a hot tub. (no King hot tubs available) We knew it was going to be a rainy weekend but that was ok because we just wanted to relax. We love the vibe of the campground and what Brian and Joanna have done with it and hope to see it continue to grow. The campground is not too far off the road so you can hear traffic going by but it wasn't to the point of being distracting. The domes were clean and adorable. The only thing that would have been great would be either hangers for the rack or some hooks near the door. We had umbrellas and raincoats and nowhere to really hang them up while they were wet. The retro ice cream and coffee campers were such a great addition and the woman at both, I believe her name is Sue, was so nice and personable. She was helpful with any questions we had and gave suggestions for things to do in the area. Because of the rain, we ended up pushing the beds aside in the dome and put our camping chairs up in front of the window and used the cooler that came with the dome as a makeshift table for us to play games on and eat from. The beds were comfy and the linens were soft and smelled fresh. The bathrooms and showers were also clean and the soaps, shampoos, and conditioners all smelled great. We will definitely be staying here again and hopefully bringing friends and family with us! Thank you for such a great stay!

From NOFX to Lynyrd Skynyrd, listening to all of the albums on the record player was a dream! While we did go on an excursion to the Catskills, we could have stayed and enjoyed ourselves foreverrrr. Not only does the nature and cabin provide the most amazing backdrop for a getaway, but the Rio Dam, Hawks Nest Lookout, and Point Jarvis attractions are minutes away! Our two dogs LOVED the privacy of the spot, and we loved the outdoor kitchen, hot tub, and that bed was soooooo comfy! With the added perks of endless firewood and tiki lights, our stay on Masen's land was truly magical! Thank you for taking such good care of us!!

Shaggy’s Hipcamp was perfect! Had a ton of great amenities to up your camping experience to a glamping experience. Lots of privacy, very comfortable and good vibes all around. Shaggy and his wife Kendra were both very kind and friendly people who we enjoyed having a few conversations with. The town of Narrowsburg is an easy ~15 minute drive away with a lot of fun shops, restaurants, bars/breweries and coffee shops. We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to The Record Room

My partner and I came to the Record Room to celebrate my graduation and our 2 year anniversary and we never wanted to leave. Masen and his family have created a very special place. We listened to music nonstop, poked around the surrounding woods, and soaked in the wood fire hot tub. It was truly the perfect place to celebrate and unplug for the weekend!

I loved this cabin! Kendra was super sweet, greeted us when we arrived and explained how to use everything . The hot tub was very clean. We added on the waffle breakfast for 2 and it was delicious

Truly one of the most unique and beautiful camping spots I’ve ever experienced. Can’t recommend highly enough. The hosts’ vibes were absolutely impeccable! Ty!

The cabin was very cozy well-made and interesting to look at. The record collection included a lot of classic rock, classical jazz all the way to modern hip-hop. The wood powered hot tub took a little bit to get going, but was a highlight. There’s plenty of beautiful sites nearby to see but the land it’s on was so beautiful. There was really no need to leave. Only con for me was no shower but we were able to wash up using the water from the hot tub (which is drained and refilled for each guest)

This was by far the best camping trip I have been on. I’ve done it all from backpacking to glamping and this was perfectly in the middle. A perfect spot for my 16 month olds first trip to the woods. The cabin and surrounding spaces were so beautiful and all the details were mind blowing. You can tell it is all hand built. The kitchen was such a great touch and my favorite part. It is nicely secluded and the hosts were so friendly. We actually wish we saw them more because they were so awesome! We got in on a chilly rainy day and Masen had the fire inside and the tub filled and warming up for us already. Very thoughtful and caring about their guests. We couldn’t have asked for more honestly. I cannot wait to come back. Thank you for your hospitality Raymonds.

Hippie Havens was an AMAZING find. Shaggy and Kendra are really friendly and welcoming. Their dog Taj got along very well with our dog and us. Just an all around cool vibe. The cabin was immaculately prepared and the attention to detail was great. The multicolored wifi controlled lights were a cool touch. We mentioned it was a birthday for one of us, and they had it prepared with an adorable birthday card, balloon, and some friendship bracelets. Honestly, the additional touches were over the top. The s'mores are a must get. The sauna was a big plus and definitely relaxing. All in all this place is amazing, and we will be back. We've already booked our second trip.

Weekend Trip to Tiny A-Frame W/ Heat/AC & Hot Tub

This was the perfect cozy spot for a getaway. I only stayed one night and regretted not having a second night booked. I was able to relax after a long hike, and the owner was responsive and so sweet by offering me a late checkout. Highly recommend and I can’t wait to return!

This place is truly awesome. This cabin has everything you need for a restorative time away - cooking area with easy to use cooktop/grill/burners, plenty of seating for stargazing, gorgeous forest, and the record player with speakers inside and out was magical. We had an amazing time lounging, reading, making food, and our dog had a blast exploring the forest. Masen was on top of everything, we really appreciated that he cut and brought us some fresh firewood since we arrived after sundown before we could get our bearings on the land. He was also so great and helpful at replenishing our water when we asked. We will absolutely be back!

The Delaware River is only 2 miles from our location, and River rafting is a big business around here. A small artesian-fed creek runs right next to the cabin. It lends to the relaxing sounds of water with many quaint spots for you to dip your toes into, paired with a wood-fired tub that can only be explained by experience. Wildlife can be seen and heard all around you. Make sure you download a bird identifier app! A queen temper-pedic bed and super comfy overstuffed futon will assure a good night's slumber. The Record Room's covered outdoor kitchen is designed to extend the awesome vibes into every meal.. (I.E. Flat top grill, single burner and stainless grate grill all powered by propane, cast iron frying pans, and utensils). Our outhouse is designed and maintained by the women of the family, and great pride is taken in making it a favorable experience. A small wood stove heats the Record Room on chilly mornings and nights. If you're looking for glamping, this is your place. We are always adding new features built from the sawmill operations of our homestead. We have a few spots available for your friend circle to pitch a tent and enjoy the experience with you. Feel free to reach out with any special requests; we enjoy a challenge! A basic convenience store can be located three miles to the right of our property with all your basic needs (including gas). For your grocery shopping, a small family-owned market can be found within 10 minutes up the road.
