This property is absolutely amazing. Tranquil and serene close to the downtown area. The house is in great shape, clean and easy to access. The area is safe. You access the home on your own through a private entryway. The restroom and shower are an adventure in a good way. The house keeps warm and is very private. If you are looking for a good nights rest, this is the place.

This was exactly what we hoped. Super cute tree house, as others already said, the outdoor shower was amazing. The view from the deck was exceptional and the sky lights above the bed charming.

My daughter and I stayed for two nights and had a lovely time! Based on other reviews, we brought an extra lantern to make sure we had enough light. The bed was comfy and the space was easy to warm up with the heater, although we didn’t really need it. The shower was great and the deck nice to be out on. We didn’t use the picnic table although it would have worked well for meals. My daughter really loved being up in a tree! We’d both recommend staying here!

There is no wifi and no lamp in the house as stated. They do provide head lamp but it is obviously not enough.

Overall, this a cool place. However, a few small improvements could really make this place so much better
1. Lighting. There was only a single (very dim) lantern provided, along with 3 solar-powered lights that last around 30 minutes before dying. We has to use our phone flashlights to navigate the house at night, and it doesn’t feel particularly cozy as a result. With some (very small & cheap) changes such as a set or 2 of battery-powered string lights, this could be a far more pleasant place to stay, especially in the winter when it gets dark so early in the afternoon.
2. There is no sponge or dish soap provided, so washing your dishes is extremely difficult.
3. Communication was fairly poor—the gate was locked when we arrived, so we were waiting around in the dark & rain until they responded to my hip camp messages.
All that said, the house itself is really cool (especially the shower). A few small changes are all that’s needed to make this place so much better.

I enjoyed my stay at this treehouse. I particularly I enjoyed the outdoor hot shower - what a treat! The bed is very comfy also. I recommend for those looking for a glamping experience in the colder months. I felt my needs were met and would definitely return.

Very cool treehouse structure built around large old redwoods! Private space. Memorable fun awesome hot shower. Beautiful scenery from the deck for morning coffee or evening drinks. Appreciated the electric hot water kettle for coffee and tea powered by a battery that I was also able to charge my phone with. Plenty of coffee and tea bags provided. Extra blankets and the propane heater works well to heat up the space quick. I didn't mind using the compost toilet on the deck. It is on the opposite side of the house. The owner was quick to respond to messages. Would stay here again.

This is my new happy place. Seriously. I'm already planning my return. The convenience of this treehouse still being "in town" while feeling like were in the woods living so simply is so refreshing. The outdoor shower- wow. As others have stated, it was the best shower I've ever had! Maxwell is super responsive, too, which was so helpful. I can't wait to be back!

What a treat to stay in this treehouse--a rustic feel that still offers comfort. The bed is very comfy and the redwood outdoor shower is just awesome. Check in/out and communication was easy-peasy. I already want to stay again.

My partner and I were blown away by the beauty of this spot, it truly feels like you’re out in the woods. The outdoor shower was super dreamy and the composting toilet is perfectly situated so nobody can see you while you’re using it. The bed was super soft and comfy, and the sunrise was pink coming through the skylights. Can’t wait to stay here again, thanks so much!!

One of a kind stay! The treehouse was very clean, comfortable, and accommodating. There are directions on how to use basically everything in the treehouse.
Taking a hot shower in the middle of the 4 redwoods which support the house was incredible after a long day hiking. The composting toilet setup was also a pleasant surprise.
The views from the in and around the treehouse are amazing as well. Two big panel windows are installed above the bed for impeccable views of the redwoods, stars, and sky. A truly magical place for relaxing and enjoying nature.
Privacy was a concern after reading some other reviews, however, we personally had no concerns after checking it out.
The grey cat is also super friendly!

I had a wonderful stay here. The highlights for me were the incredibly comfortable bed, the warm shower, and the added security of a lock on the door. The craftsmanship of the treehouse is remarkable, and sitting on the back patio, looking up at the trees, felt private and peaceful. There was even enough space on the patio for a yoga session, which was a nice touch.
The only thing that could have improved my stay would have been a brief greeting or check-in from the host. While I understand that might not be standard, since the treehouse is in their backyard, it would have made the experience feel a little less awkward.

It was absolutely perfect! The host got back to us in a timely manner, the Shower was hot, it was such a private retreat that even with the windows open was not worried about privacy. Would absolutely recommend this to anybody just needing to regroup and get away. One bit of feedback is make sure you bring extra lights just in case.

Was a really interesting place to stay a few days. It has a little less privacy than I would’ve liked. The hot water heater doesn’t work for the shower. And no toilet has no privacy. Other than that it’s a cool spot

On a camping road trip, staying at the tree house was a wonderful break from sleeping in a tent. The bed was comfy and the place was quite charming.

The treehouse is a wonderful space! Conveniently located in town but feels private and secluded. The special touches and uniqueness throughout the space are wonderful, and there is a friendly cat near by to boot. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The treehouse was absolutely beautiful. It had every we needed and then some. Like tea and extra blankets and all the instructions for everything. I loved how clean everything was and our host was attentive and made everything so easy and comfortable for us. I`d recommend this place to everyone..it was my second time staying and it didn't disappoint. I loved the mirror by the outdoor shower..it made for a great morning experience ..

Curtains please! The treehouse was in an unexpected place, being in the suburbs a bit, and had many windows yet no curtains. Traveling alone and female, it would provide peace of mind and a sense of safety to have the ability to elect for some more privacy, for both changing, hanging out and sleeping. It was great waking up to see the redwoods above me but also kind of spooky to be as “exposed” as I felt.

It wasn't what we expected- not really all that private for pooping outside- we could see a neighbor's door through the trees quite easily. A small sink or basin would have been easy to provide and would be helpful for folks wash up. The loft bed was only inches from the stairs (which had no handrail) and no blocking so if you rolled over a little too much you could fall to below. A little noisy at night too with barking dogs. Other than that it was cute.
