Hello! Our names are Ricky and Nathan. We own and operate an 80 acre ranch that is great for family's, kids, romantic getaways, and LGBTQIA+ safe. We cannot wait to host you and your group! We're excited to share our property with those who appreciate nature and what seclusion in the mountains has to offer. Located deep in the Cuyama Valley, close to wine country, and booming local vineyards (1.25 hrs past Ojai and 45 minutes past Santa Maria) our ranch promises the getaway experience you've been looking for. The Ranch is 80 acres with majestic mountain views and vast canyons for hiking and trail access. During the spring and summer months imagine sitting in your own personal cowboy pooltub looking up at the stars. Smell the sage and wildflowers in the air while you sip wine. Surrounded by the Los Padres Mountains and located deep within the hidden valley of enchantment, this ranch gives the visitor the high-desert glamping/camping experience of their dreams. For the hikers and explorers out there, the ranch offers trails and within 30 min in every direction there are local trails. . There is a designated area for tent camping and for RV's, Trailers, Vans, and tiny homes (no electric yet for RVs). We also offer glamping sites and all inclusive yurts. The ranch is completely private and secluded, off HWY 166. We welcome all animals, big and small. We are farm! We have pigs, goats, ducks, chickens, turkeys and more!

Jenga!. The guest can rest easy with the number of amenities and comforts this site provides.   Occupancy-  8-12 people @ base price, Max is 16  people w/surcharge of $15.   Lodging- must bring own lodging such as tents/camper vans/small rvs/pop up trailers. Nathan the host is super friendly and communicative. Sad we weren’t able to actually stay there. Hipcamp had an issue with instant book even though they were fully booked. Would recommend booking here in advance and/or reaching out to Nathan before hand to double check. We will definitely try again soon!!

A really fun, unique camping experience. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The fully stocked outdoor kitchen was amazing! Plenty of different hang out zones. As our kids are getting older they are complaining more about family camping trips, but loved this fun setup. Also, pigs so cute and friendly.

Nathan’s campsite had everything we needed. Everything was well maintained and clean. The beds were so comfortable. There were warm blankets provided so we didn’t get cold at night. We were able to take showers and wash our hands. The compost toilet was easy to use. It’s was so nice to sit under the stars. We stayed with our toddler, dog and cat. We did have to look out for rattlesnakes but luckily didn’t see any. Our toddler enjoyed seeing the farm animals. We had a great relaxing stay. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place, really well equipped - they really have thought of everything. Really off the beaten path - expect a drive through amazing scenery to get there. Worth stopping for a few photos on the way. If you can drag yourself out of bed, an amazing sunrise. The pigs were fab and loved cuddles in the morning. 🐷

Nate & Rickie are amazing hosts. They have put a lot of energy, care and flair into their Hipcamp for others to enjoy. The scenery and landscape are gorgeous. We loved the songbirds, yapping goats, and other chatty animals. The sites are spread apart and overall the land/place has a wonderful vibe.

This was such a nice campground! It was so fun to look at the different animals. We purchased the petting zoo add-on and were able to see pigs, turkeys, chickens, ducks, and goats. There are other campgrounds within sight nearby, but it wasn't an issue and still felt private. The campground was supplied with several games, cooking tools, olive oil, and basic seasonings. I would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay! The sunsets and stars were amazing and Nathan was super accommodating. We enjoyed petting the animals and there was plenty of space to roam for us and our 2 dogs. The shower and composting toilet were really nice features. The whole camp site has a great vibe. Would definitely recommend!

Nice to drive up to warm, enthusiastic greeting from Nate. Guided us to our well equipped site. Whole campground is spacious and delightfully funky. Love it! The views are spectacular and there are several hiking trails on this extensive property. Nate even graciously accepted my seemingly endless questions and comments. It would be way fun to be there with a group of friends. There's even a personal zoo with pigs, turkeys, goats, etc. Well worth it!

This was by far the most exceptional Hipcamp we have experienced. The property is stunning, with well maintained campsites that are clean, thoughtfully designed, and fully equipped with all necessary amenities. Our host, Nate, was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating. We enjoyed a scenic hike, had the unique opportunity to interact with their farm animals, and even collected our own fresh eggs. Our campsite featured a private hot shower, adding an extra touch of comfort. The experience was so enjoyable that we are already planning our next visit.

We had a great time at Nates yurt! Our family of 5 traveled socal for 10days and we stayed in resorts, Airbnbs, a state run yurt and we all agree Nates yurt was the best stay. The beds were super comfy, the view was gorgeous, the amenities were al fresca.

Nathan's set up was great and had just about everything we need already at the site! We stayed in one of the yurts and appreciated the space we had to ourselves. Nathan was a very good host and was super helpful to make sure we had everything we need and ready to replace anything. Our 1 1/2 year old loved visiting the animals as well. Overall great stay!

My partner and I had the best time! Nathan was such a sweet and accommodating host. We also got a chance to meet the farm animals - definitely a highlight of the trip. Other big pluses include trails, the fire pit, picnic table, sink (super convenient), hot showers, a clean outhouse, and the amount of stars you see at night. We'll be back without a doubt. Thank you Nathan!

Pink Pony Glamping Yurt 2
Cuyama Oaks was everything I hoped for. It’s beautiful, close to LA, and had everything we needed for our stay (camping made easy). Nate was extremely accommodating (we had to reschedule due to my dog having surgery) and welcoming. I cannot recommend this gem enough! We’re excited to return in the spring!

We love Cuyama Oaks Ranch!
Pink Pony Yurt# 1
Cuyama Oaks Ranch was the perfect place for our girls' trip! We had such a relaxing and peaceful weekend. Every detail was appreciated! Nathan was an amazing host and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire weekend. Definitely recommend for couples and families. We will definitely be back!

We loved the yurt, it was very cozy and relaxing! They had a shower available for each section. Everything was available! Nathan was very helpful as well!

Nate is one of those top tier welcoming, communicative hosts that you can only dream of. He anticipated our needs and the space was curated with everything. The walking trails near the expansive property were well maintained and the fall nature was breathtaking. It’s a great space for groups, and friends who came with us who were new to composting toilets were happily surprised by the thoughtful and tidy setup. We can’t wait to come back.

Oasis!
Pink Pony Glamping Yurt 2
This is one of my absolute favorite places I’ve ever stayed! The Yurts are very comfortable and have so many fun extras, they have everything you need to cook full meals (including fresh eggs from their chickens), adorable animals to pet, hiking trails, completely silent nights and welcoming atmosphere the second you get on the property. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back!

We had an amazing stay here! Nate was so communicative and helpful, he walked us through everything when we arrived and was available to answer any questions that came up. The yurt was so fun and had all the amenities needed for a great stay. We’re looking forward to visiting again soon!

We had such a wonderful family outing with friends. Highlights included collecting eggs and feeding the pigs, stunning sunsets and sunrises, and chill time lounging around the campsite. Nathan was such a thoughtful host, thank you!

Wldflower Barbie Camp w/Hot Shower
A big group of us with 8 ppl just camped here. We were only able to camp for one night (not long enough tbh) but we had such a great time. Our host Nathan was wonderful. Very friendly, accommodating and super easy to communicate with. Half our group came from SoCal and the other from NorCal and we all ended up arriving about 1+ hr later than we hoped but Nathan was so great and flexible that it made what could’ve been a stressful situation easy. The campground is beautiful with a gorgeous mountain backdrop. We had our own little outdoor kitchen area and picnic tables and generous space to set up our tents. Spot was so nice. We watched the sunset and then at night we all laid on a big blanket for star gazing. We got fresh farm eggs and got to meet the animals at their petting zoo! Also outhouse and shower stall was private and clean!! Overall I’d rate Nathan’s campground and hosting abilities 100 stars. We will definitely be coming back!
