Turner Beach At Lake Almanor is a privately owned vacant lakefront lot. The property is wide enough to accommodate 3 RV's/camp trailers end to end, ensuring no blocked views of the lake. You will be camping along Lake Almanor's East Shore on your own private campground instead of "combat camping" in the popular public campgrounds nearby. Additionally, the property can accommodate numerous smaller vans and tents. We have 2 mooring buoys and a large dock. (Dock may no longer be in the water after September) There is a sani-hut potty which is maintained/cleaned weekly. The property is located between the lake and the highway, so there will be road noise. Some guests have been bothered by the traffic and some have not. We have 2 SUP boards, a kayak, and a canoe as well as a 5-person pedal boat that can be borrowed while renting our beach. Doing so will be at your own risk and you are required to wear personal floatation devices (lifejackets). Lifejackets are not provided, so you will need to bring your own. We ask that you please respect our toys and take care not to damage them or lose any parts/pieces. All renters must take their own trash with them when they depart. No Fireworks, No firearms, No drugs allowed. Dogs are allowed and we do have a 10 x 10 x 6 kennel onsite. Campers are responsible for minding their pet's safety, politeness, and picking up their poo-poo's. Marshmallow roasting/cooking fires must be kept small and are only allowed in the provided fire ring. There is some small firewood onsite, and if you need more you can purchase nearby at Almanor Landscape Supply or bring your own. The early mornings are tranquil, and the sunsets are STUNNING! We hope you enjoy your stay! **Please understand, if you private message us asking to pay us directly to avoid the HIPCAMP fees, the answer will be a resounding NO! This is the platform we have chosen for our beach rental and we are not willing to skirt around it. We had a wonderful holiday week at Turner’s Beach. Having the place to ourselves was the absolute best! We were able to have our dogs off leash The site was well appointed, the portable potty was a much appreciated and nice touch considering it is a dry camping site. Would recommend and can’t wait to go back!

We had an amazing few days on the shore of Lake Almanor at Lynne’s camp site! What a breath taking view, amazing sunsets and a sky full of stars at night! Lynne was also a fantastic host, very communicative and responsive. Thanks for a great stay, Lynne!

This spot is perfect! We enjoyed the privacy and of course the view. Previous comments mentioned traffic noise. Their's really not that much traffic. We are definitely coming back !

Beautiful and quiet site. The views of the lake and mountain range were amazing. Although next to the road, it didn’t bother us as there wasn’t much vehicles passing by. There were houses to the south but we still felt very private thanks to the trees and the entire site was very spacious. Host provided us with some firewood for the chilly nights and we needed it. Lake water wasn’t too cold yet so we got to wade a little bit. Portapotty was very clean. We had a comfortable stay.

Beautiful spot on the lake! We enjoyed the sunset and starry skies. There is some road noise, but that can’t be helped. The spacious site and lake access more than make up for it.

Lake front sunset!

Wonderful lake front Campsite! Area was very clean and plant of room. The stone fire ring with views of a phenomenal sunset. Site had plenty of water activities, from a peddle boat to canoes. Area is fence off and my dog was able to roam freely without worry of getting onto the road. As others stated, being right next to the road and train tracks did have some noise but didn't bother us. The site does have a portypotty but no water or electricity (dispersed as stated), although a potable water source would be a nice touch. We came prepared with water/electricity, and filtered the lake water to top off our tanks. Would definitely come back!

The site is beautiful! The views were amazing and we loved having our own dock. We easily fit three trailers end to end and the additional parking space was perfect to park our trucks. The only tricky thing was backing our trailers in, but it wasn't a big deal. The noise from the highway didn't bother us and definitely died down at night. Overall it was a fantastic spot and we will definitely be back!

As first time Hipcamp users, I think we're now spoiled! This spot was absolutely amazing! The owner really set up the property to be such a relaxing little get away. We truly appreciated the extra little things they had for us to use and how clean it was!! In addition, the owners were so friendly and were incredibly responsive when we were navigating potentially bad weather. We can't wait to come back!

Lynne’s place is stunning! We enjoyed the scenery & steps to the lake access. Other reviewers commented on the location next to the highway & a train line, so while that was evident, it was still a great spot to camp, Lynne was responsive & a good host. We’d love to go back!

We loved camping right on the lake with our own dock. The surrounding views are beautiful and the campsite has lots of fun things to keep you entertained - a fire pit, a couple kettle barbecues, a kayak, a stand up paddle board, etc. I was most excited to find a Navarro Egret canoe. It's a bit old and dusty, but it felt great on the water!

Lynn's lakefront property was by far the nicest hipcamp we've ever stayed at. The setting was private, clean, and wonderful, even though it was directly in front of a road and railroad track. (The noise didn't bother us, but it might bother some.) It was easy to access. We loved swimming in Lake Almanor, diving from the dock. Can't recommend the spot highly enough.

The view, dock, beach and shade were incredible for a late June camping trip with two families. Plenty of space for 2 camper trailers. Road noise and train were intermittent, but not bothersome. Bring ear plugs for sleeping if you’re in a tent. Very private and beautiful! Would come back again!

The host is extremely responsive and keeps the property tidy with a clean portable toilet. The land is spacious and it's quite the luxury to have private land lakeside; it's a great base camp to explore the area. One thing to note is the land is accessible right off the main road so you will hear passing traffic - living by Lake Tahoe we're accustomed to this and it's unavoidable when you have such great land. Great spot right on the water! Host was very responsive and told us a bit about the area on check in. We found a cute winery called CherryWood nearby as well. Just a note, this campsite is right next to a busy road. Campsite had lots of room, gorgeous sunsets, and it’s own dock. We hope to be back!

Lake Almanor is so very peaceful and we actually saw a family of lake otters swimming around the docks. So nice to have a dock to keep our boat and the privacy to let our dogs run free.
