Camp for a Cause. Glamp to Give Back. Every stay supports rescued horses and the healing they offer. Unplug under the stars. Reconnect with purpose. Rest in gratitude. Whether you’re bringing your RV, pitching your own tent, or staying in one of our cozy glamping tents, your stay helps make a difference. Raison d’être Ranch—French for “reason to be”—is more than just a name. It’s our mission, our heartbeat, and our why. Here on 120 peaceful acres, we’ve created a sanctuary for over 95 rescued horses, along with santuaried cows, goats, and a myriad of wildlife who call this sacred land home. From deer, pronghorn, and porcupine to coyotes, bald eagles, waterfowl, hawks, meadowlarks, mourning doves, and more—we honor all life here. Every night you spend here supports the lifelong care of our animals and the equine-partnered wellness programs that help people heal through their connection with these sentient beings. Dry camping. Tent camping. Glamping. Choose your style—and know that wherever you sleep, you’re standing for something bigger. While planning your stay, don’t forget to check out our special add-ons and romance packages! Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, anniversary, a proposal, or simply want to create a ‘just because’ moment, we offer picnic setups, romantic touches, and more to make your time here magical. Want to go even deeper? Book one of our unique experiences—like meeting the herd, hearing their rescue stories, walking or grooming a horse, or participating in a private equine-partnered wellness session. We encourage you to book in advance to ensure availability. This isn’t just a stay—it’s a sanctuary experience. Camp with purpose. Glamp with gratitude. And give back to what matters.Nestled beside a seasonal creek and surrounded by open skies and trees, Creekside Camp is a tent-only site ideal for those looking to unplug, stargaze, and reconnect with nature. This peaceful, grassy site offers: • Tent camping • A mix of sun and shade with easy access to tree-lined walking trails • A sense of seclusion and serenity—while still near the main ranch drive for added peace of mind • Potable water access available near the barn or Quonset • A portable toilet —campers must pack out all waste bags and trash upon departure Important parking info: Parking at this site requires driving through pasture land, which may include cactus, uneven ground, and deeper sand. Please follow flagged areas only—do not drive outside of the marked path, as this helps protect your vehicle and our land. Please Note: While our sanctuary is nestled on 120 private acres, you may notice a few neighboring homes from certain vantage points. That said, we’ve thoughtfully positioned each campsite to offer as much privacy, peace, and connection to nature as possible. Most guests find the views and surroundings tranquil, with plenty of space to feel secluded and restored. You may hear the peaceful rhythm of ranch life—horses, cows, dogs, and the presence of local wildlife. This land is alive, and we honor every creature who shares it. Pets are welcome, but must remain leashed at ALL times. For the safety of our range animals and your pets, this is a non-negotiable rule. We have mules on the property, and they can cause fatal harm to dogs that enter their space. All guests are required to sign a liability waiver and agree to ranch rules regarding animal interaction and the respectful treatment of all wildlife. Your stay at Serenity Grove Campsite supports the rescued horses, cows, goats, and wild creatures who call Raison d’être Ranch home. This is more than a place to rest—it’s a place to reconnect and give back. Come pitch your tent beneath the stars—and camp with purpose.
