We ended up arriving in the middle of the night and never got to meet the hosts, but David was so communicative and kind leading up to our stay. The videos they provide were perfect for navigating the property once we got there and clearly show how to operate the lift up door in the morning for an amazing view from bed. Bring layers if you're arriving in the cooler months, no heat in the cabins! We stayed until check out and wished we had even more time to spend. I'll be staying here again :)

I loved staying in David and Stephanie's cabin! It was so beautiful, their whole property is very serene! The hosts were very friendly and responsive! Love that they had a bathroom, water, and showers available too. I had a wonderful time and I'd definitely stay again! (:

What a perfect spot in Golden Colorado with a nice little coffee shop not too far away. I loved The stargazer cabin and the showers were very nice to have lol made a new hummingbird friend as well👍🏽 we were only there for a night and wished we would’ve had more time to relax in the hammocks!

It’s such a beautiful space here, warm and welcoming energy. I appreciated the early check in. My body and soul needed it more than I knew. Enjoyed doing some energywork in a hammock, looking out over the mountains in the distance. The hummingbird that came to say hello was a joyous surprise too.
The platform tent was a comfortable and so relaxing; a mattress makes camping easier. Haha
And OUTDOOR SHOWERS!!!! Will return.

The stargazer was incredible. Beautiful site and the side of the A-frame opens so you have a direct view of the mountains. The owners were really nice. Only one complaint. The outdoor shower is directly below the hosts home. They have a 2nd floor balcony with a sliding door overlooking the showers. It’s directly above you. A canopy or something over the shower would’ve been nice for privacy. So if you stay just be aware you have no privacy in the shower.

Perfect for one or cozy for two. Mattress is comfy, aesthetic is homey & chic and the sky view is 5/5.
Its base glamping, bring everything you need as you would, potty was close and clean, showers are actually spectacular, parking and access was EASY. And Steph was a sweetheart :)

We had a great stay at Crystal Ranch where David went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We stayed for two nights and got great views of the stars, mountains, and countryside. We would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay with easy access to both nature and the city. My only recommendation would be that you bring a sleep mask if you like to sleep past sunrise, the sun is hot and bright in the summer morning.

We loved staying in the star gazer on David’s land! It was very cozy and he was very accommodating. We were lucky to not have too much cold weather but one night it was cold, he offered a heater. The view from the star gazer is breathtaking and the stars at night were incredible! We also had a good time playing fetch with their dog. It’s a short drive down the mountain to Golden and just 4 minutes from a gas station, liquor store, and coffee shop. Would stay again!

We loved staying at David and Stephanie’s A frames! They’re perfect for a couple to getaway for a weekend. We were a week into our road-trip and were tired of tent camping and this was an amazing upgrade for us.

This is the perfect glamping experience! We took a friend out that has never camped before - she said she’d do it again. David was very responsive- cabins were clean and the toilet area was perfect. We saw some deer and wild turkey on the last day. There’s a gas station right down the road which was helpful and not a far drive into Golden!

Wonderful! We received a video showing the path to the A Frame and were able to navigate our way there on our own in the dark. It’s super cute and cozy, just what we needed for a night away.

The overall views and ambiance were very relaxing — and getting to open up the A-frame was so cool and vibey at sunset. Only thing I’d mention is the Basecamp option is directly next to the main house. It wasn’t weird, but definitely not our expectation. The fire pit was closer to Basecamp, but is a communal pit.

If you are looking for a mountain getaway less than an hour outside of Denver- look no further! My friend and I absolutely loved our stay here. It’s easy to get to, the A-frame cabin was fun and cozy, and we loved having the roof open. David is very helpful, and has the sweetest dog. There’s a cafe close by if you want to breakfast or coffee in the morning. Make sure you bring lots of blankets as it gets chilly at night. Our only issues was neither of the interior lights worked, so we had to use our flashlights. Overall, if you are looking for a night away in the mountains, this is the perfect spot.

I can not recommend this beautiful piece of paradise we were so lucky to stay at on our girls trip to Colorado! The Cabin was perfection the beds so comfortable and everything you need to really enjoy what Mother Nature has to offer.
All the amenities exceed our expectations from the details with the lights and lanterns to the toilet and AMAZING outdoor shower!!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in the Stargazer A-frame. We arrived in the dark and in the rain. Stephanie was very welcoming and showed us the way to our site. Everything was exactly as described, and we loved the daily visits from the friendly and very well-behaved family dog! We definitely recommend and would love to stay again if we are in the area again in the future.

David & Stephenie were super accommodating during our 2-night stay. The A-frame was adorable, and the outdoor shower was deeply appreciated! We wanted to stay close to Mother Nature while not giving up every modern convenience, and this was the best of both worlds. Thanks again, David & Stephanie!

We had such a wonderful stay on our 4 month old daughters first camping trip. We were warmly welcomed, given a tour, and offered anything else we may have needed. The property was very safe and quiet. We look forward to visiting again!!
