LGBTQ+ welcome!
The Tiny House:
The tiny house is a luxurious stay for hipcampers. It boasts a loft with queen size bed, and secondary loft with an additional mattress upon request. There is a full kitchen with fridge, gas stove/oven and sink. Enjoy a bath in the soaking tub or a quick shower in the bathroom, which also has a composting toilet (don't worry, it doesn't smell!) and sink. Relax on the couch or outside in your private sitting area that looks into the national forest. Electricity, wi-fi, and heat included. The tiny house can sleep 4, although may be better suited to 2 if you don't want to be rubbing elbows.
The Property:
The tiny house is parked nearby the main house on the property where we live. We are at the dead end of the road, and the property abuts National Forest with trails for miles and incredible views of nearby peaks. We have three dogs who you may hear occasionally, but who live in their own fenced yard attached to the main house. Though we live on the property, the tiny house is your own private space and we'll respect your privacy during your stay. Neighboring houses are visible from the property in one direction. The other direction all that can be seen is trees, mountains and sky. There is space to pitch a tent next to the tiny house for additional hipcampers. The tiny house and immediately surrounding area of the property are all yours. Enjoy the sitting area just outside the tiny house that looks into the woods or walk out the door and down the hill and you'll be in Roosevelt National Forest. Pick up a trail just steps away from your camping spot! Or drive just minutes to other nearby state parks and hiking areas.
The tiny house has steep stairs and ladders to access the sleeping areas. It may not be suitable for children or those with physical disability.
There is a queen size mattress in the main loft at the top of the stairs. If you'd like an additional mattress (twin) in the secondary loft (at the top of the ladder) please let us know in advance so we can set it up for you. Freshly laundered bedding is included!
There is space for a tent next to the tiny house if you or guests prefer to sleep outside.
Please respect the property line that abuts the neighbor's land to one end of the property. We also ask that you do not enter the main house or go inside the fenced yard attached to the main house as this is our living space.
