Would definitely stay here again. Anne was super nice and the cabin was clean and furnished well. The site had everything we needed while we stayed to explore the rainbow river.

Canopy over picnic table and an outdoor sofa made our trip so easy when the weather went ugly. There was a big grill and a lot of woods for cooking or just making fire.
Bathroom was next to the camping site. Dish soap and sponge were there for us to clean our cooking utensils.
Hot water shower is consistent, and good pressure.

Anne’s place was absolutely perfect! Restaurants, kayak launch, and rainbow Springs all only a few short minutes away! Anne’s outdoor rustic kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need. And her outdoor bathroom/shower was AWESOME! So much better and cleaner than any state park bathroom facilities we’ve visited. Anne was such a pleasure to have awesome conversations with and she is more than accommodating and so friendly! We will absolutely return. I give her little Country Oasis a 10 out of 10!

I highly recommend Anne’s place. She works extra hard making the guests feel welcome! We just rented the tent camping spot - it was gorgeous. Our pup loved it as much as we did! Full use of the bathhouse available. We will definitely be back!

We picked this site due to the advertised connection to the greenway. Unfortunately the site was already occupied and we were told to set up at an alternative location next to the goat pen. The goats were the highlight of the trip. They were super cute and hung out all night. There was water and electric hookup but no fire pit. The bathhouse was clean and more modern than expected. While the rules say pets must be leashed, there were at least four dogs running around. Two of them barked and ran towards us any time we opened our truck or went to the bathroom. One tried to join me for dinner. I was worried they were going to run under our truck as we came and went. We picked this site based on other reviews saying it was good for biking. Sadly, the connection to the greenway is a sand fire road and not accessible for bikes however might work for fat tires or horses. There is access to a state park down the road but you would need to drive. We’d give our stay a four out of five.

We stayed 4 days at this great place!
It was very comfortable and Anne is a great host.
She keeps you informed of necessary information and makes sure you have everthing you need.
The property is all fenced in and is great for the dogs.
Close to a very nice biking trail which is a plus!
We definitely will return when we are in this area agaIn.

The gateway has the most privacy with large fenced yard right on the cross Florida greenway! The cabin had everything we needed and the host Anne was extremely accommodating and wanted all of her guest to feel comfortable and welcome. We had a blast kayaking rainbow river just minutes away and rode our bikes on the greenway just through the rear gate. Crystal river and the manatees are only 30mins away and many more springs toward ocala to explore next time! We will definitely come back in the future

Amazing stay! It was like a little community but super chill. There's a huge fire pit and some tiny houses that are also available for rent. Our doggies had a great time roaming around and making friends with the other visiting pups. There's laundry and a full kitchen too. Plus, the hosts are just the kindest people. Honestly, I can't recommended this stay highly enough to do it justice. We will for sure be back!

Anne our host was friendly and very accommodating. The cabin was clean and comfortable. we loved the goats roaming the property, very relaxing and great location. Our cabin was 10 minutes from Rainbow river tubing which was amazing. Don't miss out on this opportunity to relax at this beautiful property. I would highly recommend it. Primitive camping is also available on the property, just another excellent option to take advantage of, thank you Anne.

We had a great stay at Shannon Trails in our pop-up camper. Anne was very flexible about where we parked and we found a quiet and shady spot, and our extension cord reached an outlet on the outside of one of her cabins. She was also flexible about our check out time which allowed us to go kayaking in Rainbow River in the morning, and then come back to pack up and shower. Her bath house with toilet and shower is perfect, and she has very cute goats!

Although we didn't get out to explore the surroundings to hike (this time!) the tiny home was comfortable and super cute! It was close to Rainbow River, which is a beautiful river to tube, kayak or SUP. Hope to return in the cooler months to be able to explore the trails!

Shannon Trails is a beautiful property, full of trees shade and Anne is a great host!
My cabin was so nice and the bed so comfortable, it has a coffee machine, a fridge and some extra goodies.
I was traveling with my pup, and we both enjoyed very much. It is pet friendly, safe and close to the springs. ❤️ it.

To start off, the location was easy to find . It was 10 mins from the rainbow springs tubing spot and 20 from rainbow springs state park. It included power hookup and water hookup as well as an outhouse with a shower and bathroom. There is also an TON of trails behind the location, very easy to access. Ann was super friendly and great to have a conversation with! This area was so peaceful and quiet. We will definitely be staying here whenever we are in the ocala / Dunnellon area!
