Southern Hospitality at It’s Fines—
We couldn’t have picked a better spot for our first campsite on this unhinged adventure. From the moment we arrived, the owners treated us like family—genuinely kind, welcoming, and incredibly thoughtful. The campsite is tucked right along a peaceful, gorgeous river, and even Sir Snugglefluff (our dog) made himself right at home—he’s now a proud dirt pillow connoisseur.
When our Jeep broke down in a nearby town, the camp owner didn’t hesitate—came to get us, made sure we had groceries, and even followed up with the mechanic. That kind of hospitality is rare, and we’re so grateful for it.
We also happened to be there during their once-a-month cookout, and let me tell you—that smoked BBQ and sweet Georgia tea combo? Absolutely unreal. Heads up for future guests: the cookouts aren’t every day, so if your timing lines up, you’re in for a treat!
This place set the bar high for the rest of our trip. We will definitely be back.
