Camping Spot
The bathrooms were as described, the river was calming, and the sunset was spectacular. The stars were brilliant to fall asleep under. I would highly recommend this spot to anybody!

Jessica was wonderful to work with and a great communicator! Beautiful place. The sites are right next to each other but perfect for a low key couple or a big group! Truly an oasis.

The camping sites are amazing and all face the river. Clean restrooms and shower. Dog friendly. Quiet area with awesome scenery. 20 minutes from town. Excellent base camp for exploring the area!!

We spent 6 days at Cactus River Ranch and enjoyed ever minute of it. What a relaxing place to rest after a hard day of fishing, hiking, ATVing or whatever. Town is close by but there was no hwy noise. Verizon has a good enough signal. There are brand new bathrooms and showers and there is limited river access. We didn't need anything so we only saw the owner 1 time when he showed us how to get into the site. They were very nice! And they have beautiful horses! All in all we would give it 10 stars, no problem! Look for the resident Bald Eagle who likes to fish around there. Very nice!👍

Really neat property. We basically had it to ourselves with some family and it was very secluded. Bathhouse was a nice touch and very clean. Full hook ups, right by the river and the family had a blast. We’ll be back!

We loved camping on Jessica’s property! The salmon area is so beautiful and the salmon river was right below our campsite. This site had access to very clean restroom and shower facilities, and was very close to riding trails and Williams lake. You won’t regret booking with them and we will be back again!

Great spot along the Salmon River!! Unexpected Hot Shower was very clean & welcoming. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone traveling thru the area. Thanks Again for everything!!

Not a great experience. Hipcamp charges $22 on top of the expensive site fee, and I got a confirmation for site 3 but then they tried to switch me to a middle site (#2). We didn’t get to use the reservation because there were forest fires and the AQI was really bad. That isn’t the fault of the owner, but I would think at least a partial refund would have been offered. So the site may have been lovely, but we will never know.

Well developed sites: 3 full hookups, 1 glamping tent, 1 tent site. All have picnic tables. Nice bath house with two separate bathrooms. Dog bags and trash receptacle behind bath house. Bank to the Salmon River is high with one accessible path. We kayaked from the site to Shoup Bridge, 45 minute float, nice boat ramp/park at bridge for takeout. Enjoyed seeing the big horn sheep. Bring your live-catch mouse traps. Four field mice came to visit. We released them out on the main road.

We enjoyed our 2 days at Cactus River Ranch. Nice level gravel area with picnic table, water bib and electric hookup. Bathrooms were new and very clean and convenient. Right near the river however access was limited for us. Enjoyed watching the eagles and osprey hunting up and down the river.
Location is a few miles outside of town but easy to find.
We were in a sprint van so it was perfect for a getaway.

Absolutely perfect and private spot on the river surrounded by gorgeous hills w well kept amenities and easy access to town and nearby national forests. Easy to arrive and depart. Totally recommend.

You won’t find any camping spot more beautiful! All amenities for full RV sites… plus tent camping or truck camping… we enjoyed the river so much.. so peaceful and quiet. Bathroom and showers were clean and large. We will be back!!!!! Thank you to our wonderful host! 🤍

Loved this spot! I only stayed one night in a tent but the showers were incredibly clean and the water was hot! Great views and very peaceful -even with the other rv generators running ;p

The scenery is majestic. The hosts are helpful, hospitable, and kind. We stayed for almost a week and couldn’t extend because of other campers coming in. We will return again.

Great little place! We tent camped along the river and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and animal life. Beautiful area and the bathrooms were really nice.

If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would! This place is pretty much perfect. The views from the camping area are incredible and it is located right in the midst of an abundance of hiking, driving, sight-seeing, and water activities. On the property, there are 3 RV sites with full hookups, a dry camping site, a canvas tent site, and some primitive tent camping areas down by the water. We staying in RV site #2, which was the middle of the three side-by-side sites. The sites are pretty close together but not crowded - we had plenty of room to put our slide and awning out, and have our chairs out. We had the RV area all to ourself the first couple of days, but the last few days we were there was over a weekend and every site was full. Since the sites are side-by-side, if the spots are all full, there isn't much privacy. That was fine for us and our neighbors ended up being wonderful, but if you are looking for total seclusion and privacy, you won't get that in these sites (but the dry camping site is off by itself so if you don't need hookups, that would be a great, more private option). Site 2 where we stayed is probably the smallest site since it is in the middle. In hindsight, Site 3 is probably the best of the three spots since it is on the far end and has a little more space than the others. We loved everything about this area and the camping location and we highly recommend it! We will definitely return if we make it back through the area. Many thanks to the hosts!

Good place for a reasonable place, but I think we got lucky with nice neighbors. I think it's a great idea bit still needs work. The property is covered in horse manure, but it is a farm. Only water front property was the tent site and the tent site are first come first reserve. The bathroom doors are easy to lock when leaving so we had to message the hosts late at night to come and unlock them which was unfortunate for everyone. So I'd fix that so they don't get calls and the guests don't complain.

Jessica’s land was the perfect place to park our trailer for a few nights. It’s truly right on the water and has lovely views, whether it’s the river, the mountains, or one of the beautiful horses in the pasture. The property is close to so much outdoor fun with a nearby lake and hiking trails. The well manicured sites, picnic tables, fire pits, and hookups made our stay as comfortable as we could ever want. The hosts are gracious and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Beautiful views next to the river, wildlife abounds with ponds nearby as well. Full hookups in a private setting was a treat! Soon to be open for more than one camper with a bath house.

I really enjoyed this tent cabin. It was comfortable. As we had been camping on our trip, we had everything we needed for comfort. I recommend this place if you are already kitted out with your campstove, cookware, food, and poo bucket.
