Happy Campers Campground

Overall we had a great experience. Dwight was a great host and made us feel safe during rough weather. He also offered what ever we may need while tent camping in the rain as he knows that can be difficult. . We were placed in an area suitable for a tent and it was nice. We were able to charge our phones and flashlights in the shower house so that was good as well.

my family & i loved Dwight's place! we booked the day of & were greeted when we arrived to the cabin on the property. cabin was very clean & oh so cozy w. a beautiful view of the pond on site. my son did some pretty good fishing, room to walk the dog around & probably the cleanest outhouse i've been in to date! thanks so much for having us.. can't wait to come back!

Dwight was very receptive and quickly answered any questions I had. There area was well taken care of and though there were quite a few others at the site it was not too noisy. I loved walking the property with my dog and it was fairly close to the highway and a good stopping over spot.

Dwight and his wife were welcoming and accommodating. Dwight brought over an extension cord long enough to go right into my tent! He also brought over a sewing kit I requested to make an emergency repair.

Beautiful property! Roads a little narrow getting there, but so worth it. We were in a 38 ft. Motorhome, with a Toad. Nice size back in sites, with table and fire ring at each. Shower house, for one, and separate Porta John (pit toilet). Firewood is available , for purchase, and the host, Dwight, will deliver to your site. He is very helpful and checks to see if everything is ok.

Very beautiful property! We enjoyed our night! Loved the awesome fire pits/large picnic tables and there was already wood cut… we were greeted right away even though the own just had ear surgery that same day. Also , outlet super convenient so we didn’t not need our solar power panels. Peace , love n joy

Beautiful country camping spot!

Fast communication with a last minute booking; Host even left a light on for us and gave us a convenient spot for a late night arrival. Beautiful setting! Would definitely come back to this quaint, clean camping spot in the country!

I loved my stay with Dwight! The spot was clean well maintained. Complete hookups easy to access. Dwight was awesome. We had a few colorful conversations about our past careers. The pond was a blast. Pulled a half dozen bass out on my lazy days walking the property. 100% will be returning on our way back east from California.

It was so peaceful and comfortable. We stayed for the night but definitely would love to return for a nice relaxing longer visit. The cabin was cute and my eagle scout son loved the 1950 eagle scout plaque.

Dwight was a super nice and gracious host, and was especially helpful when I first arrived. The grounds are beautiful and it was delightful to wake up to the sound of the chickens.

Perfect for my stopover on my way east. Dwight is super nice and the sites are well maintained. I don’t use any hookups so can’t say anything about that. Shower room was clean and worked well. Will definitely be back on my way out West. Thanks!!

My family really enjoyed the cabin. The scenery is breathtaking, it's quiet and the pond has great fishing. Dwight was very pleasant and answered all of our questions. This was my first hipcamp experience, and he made it wonderful. 10/10 would recommend. We can't wait to stay over again. Book it! You will not be disappointed.

Happy Camper campground in Brazil Indiana is a hidden gem! The property is well maintained, and is quite scenic. Although I did not use the shower facility, it was clean well kept. Dwight & his wife are gracious hosts. If you are ever in the area, you should stop here for at least a night
