Sheepy Acres

I really enjoyed my brief 1 night stay here! Titus made me feel very welcomed, too. A lot of TLC has gone into this property. Well manicured drive and sites. A few clean primitive toilets situated between the sites that are distanced apart from each other and private. There is a mowed walking trail. The woodchip site is in the back, along a field. You can hear the clip clop of the Amish carriage horses in the distance and at night you can see their running lights along the bottom as they ride along in the distance. Not close neighbors so it's quiet except for a road that parallels the property, in the distance, but the coolness of the place made up for that. I would love to return.

We loved our stay at Titus’s place! He was very friendly and welcoming. The fisherman’s wharf cabin was charming and just what we needed for a peaceful night. Our dog loved the pond right outside and enjoyed the freedom to run around the yard. Definitely recommend!

This place is awesome and Titus is a super hospitable host. We only stayed for a night on a road trip and wish we could have stayed longer. The site is very secluded and has everything you need for camping!

Fun and relaxation

Moonlight Halo Shepherds Hut

Such a fun and relaxing visit! Titus has prepared the cabin so thoughtfully that if you forgot any supplies, he probably has them stashed away in a logical place, even down to skewer sticks and a grill brush hanging near the fire. The wood craftsmanship in each building was impressive and lent a lot to the atmosphere. The site was safe, clean, and full of chances to connect with nature and have fun. Thank you for the hospitality!

This was an amazing space for some low key camping. Titus was very accommodating and friendly, providing firewood and a large space for tent camping. The property is gorgeous, views were fantastic, and the area is well maintained.

Great Time. Beautiful Property.

Titus was very helpful through the entire experience. Upon our arrival he met us and gave us a great overview of all the properties amenities and directed us to the moonlight shepards hut. The hut was extremely cozy, clean, and perfect for the nights stay. We had a beautiful fire in the evening and in the morning to start the day. We would stay there again in a heart beat!

Idyllic Camping Experience!

Sleepy Acres is a wonderful spot tucked away in the trees! Titus was a wonderful host. He and the Kitties and sheep greeted me when I arrived. His farm is a special spot for a quiet camping experience! There were many birds to enjoy in the morning before departing. I hope to make it back again!

Wish we could have stayed longer

Titus responded very fast to questions and the property is immaculate. We were right next to a horse pasture and the sound of the fountain at night was all we could hear. The cell service was good enough to use a hotspot for streaming. All around wonderful place to stay.

Moonlight Halo Shepherds Hut

What a wonderful cabin! We only stayed one night as we passed through town and it rained the whole time. But as cabins go, to wait out storms or to rest comfortably, Titus's is top notch. We particularly enjoyed the small woodstove!

Very hospitable and kind hosts. Titus went out of the way to make sure our stay was comfortable. My kids enjoyed playing with the kittens and watching the chickens and sheep. We couldn’t stay very long but we would love to come back and swim in the pond next trip.

Hawk Roost Campsite at Sheepy Acres

Really unique spot! Easy to find with Hipcamp directions. Titus was super welcoming. He met us at the barn, gave a quick tour, and led us to the site by golf cart. Hawk Roost was private, shaded, and clean. The tent pad barely fit our large tent but worked fine. We loved the wood chips around camp to keep it dry. Bathrooms were clean, potable water was about 100 yards away, and firewood was generously provided. He even delivered more during our stay when we needed it. It is a working pasture with sheep, so expect some strong smells and poop throughout the trails and camp roads. It didn’t bother us, but it’s worth noting. Our dog had the time of her life running around off-leash in the fenced-in pasture and having stare-downs with the sheep. There was some distant noise like sirens and machinery, but otherwise it was peaceful and full of birdsong. We would absolutely come back, especially with a group. It’s a great mix of rustic and thoughtful.

Great place to stay!

We really appreciated Titus going out of his way to meet us and show us around his property. Originally we were going to tent camp, but he offered us his cabin because it was cold and we arrived late. The cabin was a great addition to the trip. There were animals, but we only met the kitties who were all very friendly. We'll definitely be back and would recommend staying at Sheepy Acres to anyone. Titus was a great host!

It was a lovely stay at the cabin! Since we arrived late in the dark, Titus was kind enough to meet us on the road to make sure we knew where we were going and then showed us where everything was located. The kittens were absolutely precious! There was firewood ready to light up for the night and a gallon of water to get us through the night. We would definitely visit Sheepy Acres again!

Highly recommend

Titus had so much more than we expected, and we highly recommend. During our stay he had hot water heater in the outdoor shower, electrical outlet and fridge in the cabin along with indoor fireplace, and free firewood. It was too cold to go swimming so we enjoyed a little fishing while our dog ran around the property and played with the kitties. He was super helpful and accommodating when our trip took longer than excepted and we arrived later in the night. We definitely want to come back again. Thank you Titus!

Sheepy Acres is simply AMAZING!

I want to preface this review from the perspective of someone who lived in Alaska for 18 years. I am a serious camper having camped in numerous states, and Japan. Now since returning to the lower 48 ten years ago, camping has been lackluster with the annoyances of being on top of one another at sites, and frankly the lack of respect from some of said campers. My faith in an authentic camping experience has been renewed. From the jump, we were greeted with a long line of gorgeous trees, that opened up to the gate of our home for the next few days. Upon reaching our destination, we were greeted by a lovely woman who explained in detail where everything was, and how it worked, I apologize that I was so in awe of her, and her directions, that I blanked on her name. I am sincerely sorry. :( Just before entering the gate we met a cute kitty. Our campsite was simply amazing. The amount of room for all our gear was just perfect. Titus had made sure to leave us wood, as we came from out of state. The temps for camping got down to 37 degrees, but we were set. Each morning we were greeted by the sweet sheep and lambs. They were so adorable. We were happily awakened by roosters throughout the morning, to keep us on task for our day. The facilities provided were top-notch for the environment, I could not do it any better. The concepts are unmatched in my time of camping. I can not wait to return. I have been sharing my experience with others. This camping experience is in my top 2.

This spot at Sheepy Acres was awesome! Bare bones but it sure was nice to have roof over my head for the terrible thunderstorm that rolled through. Loved seeing the baby sheep roam around the property. Host was awesome and super helpful!

Sheepy Acres is a hidden gem for travelers, it offers plenty of space for your car and tent. The area is green and beautiful. Titus is a great host, we came later in the evening in the dark, but he met us and showed all the amenities available. He was very friendly and even brought us some fresh eggs when we asked if there was anyone selling eggs in the area. The firewood was also provided for free. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Exceptional Unique Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Titus who was an incredibly helpful and kind host. He was understanding about our late arrival time due to traveling from a far distance and provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed in the Starlight Shepard’s Hut which was comfortable and well-designed. We liked seeing all of the animals on the farm and enjoyed such a calm and peaceful atmosphere!
