We recently moved from the next county over and are enjoying making this place ours and improvements for guests. Property is 15 minutes south of Cincinnati, close to the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport (CVG), close to restaurants and attractions such as Kings Island (approximately 1 hour), Creation Museum (approximately 25 minutes) and The Ark (approximately 25 minutes). Also nearby are several state parks and local favorites such as Big Bone State park, Rabbit Hash,and Riverbend. We have 2 dogs who walk with us on leash and recently added chickens and goats! Elmer and Clyde do like to wander and explore. They are very friendly. Learn more about this land: Gravel driveway leads up to both spots. We do try to keep it maintained, but frequently rain causes ruts faster than we can fill. It should not impede drivability, but use caution and feel free to ask if you have any concerns. #1 improvement planned is paving driveway. You may also experience some vehicle noise from roadway. Typically, as we are on a back road, it is fairly quiet but some drivers may be louder than others and some evenings see more traffic. Level gravel area for RV parking, second plateau available for multiple tent sites. Campfires in designated area. Deer, wild turkeys, opossums and raccoons are plentiful and often wander through. Less common are foxes and bald eagles that make their home at Doe Run Lake nearby. Main home on property but only close enough for assistance, not interference. Homesteading in progress with many improvements being added. Property is close to Creation Museum and the Ark. 10 minutes from restaurants and expressway but feels like a retreat. Wi-fi, trash, private area for camp toilet, fire ring, water, camp stove (available in extras). Optional tent and chair rentals.

This site is at the higher flat area with a concrete pad for parking and a wide area for 1-2 tents. There is a fire ring at this site. There is a street lamp in the yard closer to this site, it is either on every night or not at all (the electric company did not give other options). Campfires in designated area. Deer and turkeys are plentiful and often wander through. Main home on property but only close enough for assistance, not interference. Homesteading in progress with many improvements being added. We have goats, chickens, and 2 dogs that walk around site with us frequently. Pets are welcome on leash and a heads up so we can do the same. Property is close to Creation Museum and the Ark. 10 minutes from restaurants and the expressway but feels like a retreat. We've added a hammock for some quiet relaxing. Wi-fi, trash, private area for camp toilet, fire ring, water, camp stove (available upon request in add-ons) Extension cord available at request.

This listing is for our pop-up camper use. Camper has a refrigerator and AC. One king-size bed, one full-size bed, dinette, and bench. It also has a small food prep area but no sink. *If this space is rented, Gravel Reserved #1A will not be booked as they share the parking area. Tent camping was nice here. The land was flat enough to set up, the grass was cut and everything was ready. The goats were funny but my dogs have never met a goat so they had a tough time getting along. Everything met our expectations and we enjoyed our camping experience.

I and my family spent four days in the very quiet, beautiful , secluded camp We had a campfire every day and cooked dinner over the fire. We were in the hills of Kentucky. I especially enjoyed that my 4WD was required to get to my spot. I own a nice 4WD truck which had never been off of dry pavement. It required 4WD low lock to pull my 25’ camper to my spot. I felt special that I had something no t just anybody could do. The camp host was proud to help us have a nice tine.

Nice level spot set off the road in Eryn’s front yard, Near to Cincinnati, where I needed to be, but I did not want to be in the city, so this was perfect. The goats made an appearance, which was cute. 😊

It was a wonderful night under the stars. Plenty of space in a welcoming environment. That being said, I feel obligated to mention it is literally camping in someone’s yard. Didn’t feel like it at all, though that is the case. One of the neighbor’s dogs had something going on that particular night as well. Probably not the case most nights, but it had a stick up its butt about something that overnight. Whatever really, not a big deal, just worth mentioning maybe. Nonetheless-still a great night on a great piece of grassland! Would go again.

New to Hipcamp and my husband and I are dispersed camping for the summer while waiting for our home to be ready. Stumbled upon this site and it was very convenient as far as us still living normal lives, going to work and such. It looked cute so we decided to make it our first stay! It was such a peaceful spot and Eryn was a fantastic host. We booked a few nights initially but ended up booking an extra week because we felt so comfortable! She gifted us farm fresh eggs and checked in on us periodically. Great spot for if you just need somewhere to crash for the night, but also cozy to hang out at during the day. We felt so welcomed and will not hesitate to return.

Overall fine, toilet tent looked a bit shabby and I chose to use my own and my own setup. Other than that, Eryn was friendly and helpful. For the price, it was worth it.

Super chill. Easy to find. Eryn is an historian and now I have several books on order that she recommended. I didn't see the goats, but I was tired after an 8 hour drive.

Nice little property with great hospitality. Eryn stopped by shortly after my arrival to check-in. She provided power and water. This is a great site for someone passing through or someone who plans to spend their days out doing an activity away from the property.

Eryn was very responsive during my stay. The site is close to shops, restaurants, and the city. The sites are not fussy having the basics amenities, be ready for the camping toilet 😂, though water and a drop cord are at the ready. Perfect for having a secure and semi private place to crash overnight.

Unfortunately I was unable to stay there because I was not able to get my camper up their driveway. It was quite steep and gravel based and perhaps the combination of those factors along with my SUV and trailer made it inaccessible. Because I was unable to stay, I am giving this site a neutral rating. I think that's a fair assessment giving my circumstances.

Amazing Place Very Near Cincinnati

Very gracious hosts and a lovely, secluded setting which is very close to Cincinnati, very accessible and yet you will feel remote. We were there through a tornado warning and hosts offered shelter from the storm in their basement even for our pups. They were very accommodating and friendly. Sorry the rain left the ground so soft we left a couple ruts when maneuvering on our exit. Recommendations…. Park as close to front tree line as possible to stay on gravel area but if you have a big rig, that’s tough with trees. We had a 40’ bus with a tow. Pulled in and backed out with no issues. Recommend coming in with camper off 16 if coming from 275. 17 is a bit narrow and twisty.
