Beautiful area with plenty of scenic walking trails nearby. Danielle is a wonderful host, very welcoming and friendly. Her home is clean, comfortable and quiet—a perfect retreat!

Danielle generously welcomed me into her home last minute with my dogs, so that I could make it to Massachusetts before a storm hit. Danielle is kind, generous and made sure I had everything I needed, even helping me unpack and pack my car back up before I left. Her home and property are beautiful, cozy, and she welcomes you into every area, showing you around and making sure you know where things are and how they work. I hope to return to camp out as the weather grows warmer. Highly recommend.♥️

Danielle was my life saver! I got stuck in a situation where I needed a last minute reservation and found Danielle’s listing. It was rainy and she had an extra bedroom open and invited me in so I wouldn’t have to set up my tent in the dark and in the rain. She was extremely responsive and accommodating and provided such a cozy stay. She welcomed me to tea and coffee in the kitchen, and overall it was a great experience. Not to mention her home is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING

Had a pleasant visit to Peaceful Retreat! The property is indeed a peaceful place, nice and quiet, pleasant with the crickets and other insect sounds. Owl(s) too. Brought my 25' camper

Peaceful Retreat is a world-class Hipcamp spot, 10/10! Danielle was super friendly and helpful. I stayed for 11 nights while working in the area. There are two nice bathrooms, one with a shower, and the overall vibe is totally "make yourself at home". Nice wood thrushes rushes singing in the morning, even in late July! I'll definitely stay there again next time my travels take me that way!

Danielle was a terrific host for us, especially as we are very new to the "little camper" thing! Her house was impeccably clean, her communication was excellent, and we could not have asked for a better home base for several days.

Easy to locate if driving. There was a great fire pit set up in a nice garden surrounded by trees at the back where we pitched the tent. Danielle made us feel very welcome and she was a brilliant host. She even gave us tips for our trip up to Acadia National Park. I would highly recommend this for families or female, solo travelers.

Danielle was super friendly, inviting, and hospitable! Her place had plenty of space for me to pitch a tent and really appreciated access to the house bathroom and porch. Only wish I could’ve stayed longer. Like many others, definitely recommend for solo female travelers for short or longer stays.

What a beautiful space and vibe! This camp is close to the adorable town of Hudson, to wineries/breweries, and lots of outdoor activities in the area. There are several options for where to setup - and the location is ideal for RVs, van campers, rooftop renters and SUV-rvers! Gorgeous fire pit out back with a lovely view of a wooded area and stream bed. Access to running water, a bathroom, coffee and tea all make this so glampy and a real treat. Danielle is an amazing host and human! She’s warm, thorough and responsive - and has some incredible add ons to consider. I can’t wait to come back!

I loved tent camping on Danielle's land. There was plenty of space and privacy. It was quiet and peaceful. It was a pleasant experience. The added perk of having access to the toilet/shower was fantastic. There also was coffee, tea and hot chocolate every morning. Danielle was very nice and I definitely enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful home. Felt comfortable the whole time: even extended 2 days! Great for solo female travelers. Safe area. Hostes was easy to communicate with, very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful New England spot for camping. Backyard was great for hanging out and making a campfire. Amenities in the house were great. Distance to Boston was fine. All in all exactly what we needed, would come back and can recommend!

Danielle's land was everything we needed for a quick weekend trip to Salem. It was great to have a bathroom we could use and the area was quiet and secluded.

I parked my Class B van on Danielle's driveway where there is plenty of room. There is also a lawn area available for use, with chairs and a firepit, although I did not use that as it was raining. Access to the house to use the bathroom, get water etc. was very helpful. The location is very peaceful and quiet. I would certainly recommend staying there if you need a spot to stay with your camper or tent when traveling through the area.

Enjoyed our stay. Danielle was extremely helpful as we realized that we forgot to pack out tent poles so we rented her tent for the night. We were serenaded that night by barred owls as well as a great horned owl

Danielle was so generous sharing her space! Set up my tent in her backyard and had access to her bathroom and kitchen. She was super friendly, even made a fresh pot of coffee for me in the morning! I would love to stay again if ever in the area :)

Peaceful Retreat Camp site
This was a rather delightful Hipcamp experience! Danielle is a very thoughtful, welcoming, and kind individual. I stayed 2 nights while securing local housing, and was able to park my Jeep with tent on top, onto a space near the driveway and also a more private area of lawn on the other side of the property. I was able to use the inside shower, bath, and also welcomed to enjoy communal meals and general conversation. There is also coffee and tea available inside for the mornings.
The property is rural and quiet and you feel a sense of peace away from the nearby urban environment. There are many local farms and also some trails nearby, just ask Danielle.
There are also three hilariously inquisitive chickens that live on site that will, at some point, waddle over to say hello.
Danielle also some other amenities for purchase, think meditations and fresh eggs, so her offerings are quite unique.
Excellent value for the money and a most pleasant personal experience with the host. Would definitely book again.
