We absolutely loved staying at Glacier Getaway! Abby and Anna were very responsive, thoughtful with us, and had so many amenities for us to use that made our stay even more pleasurable! Kayaking the lake with the glass water in the am and looking out at the beautiful mountains was awesome. The shower room and coffee bar had heat that helped with those cold mornings. The views were spectacular that all my Facebook friends wanted the details. Thank you Anna and Abby!

Beautiful spot on Duck Lake. We stayed 3 nights while visiting Glacier NP. We had water and electric hook up and a nice shower house. We would definitely stay again. The road getting to the hipcamp is rough. Plan on less than 10 mph.

What an amazing place! Beautiful views of lake with mountains in the backdrop! Hosts were outstanding with being available to answer questions.. flexibility on our site location and hook ups. Bonus was the hot shower room! We just returned from a month of traveling to national parks and Abby by far stood out as best host! We will be back!!

Abby and Anna were exceptional hosts! They have a great spot to camp right near glacier national park. I would definitely recommend if you would like a spot outside of the park but very close to it. Would come back in a heart beat! THANK YOU!

The lane to their place is rough, 6 mph max. They are not able to do anything about this. As it is a joint usage road.
The campground is clean and well kept. They checked numerous times to see if we needed anything. There were kayaks and small boats available at no charge.

This site was by far the most beautiful site we stayed at in our two week van adventure! Perfect spot for viewing the aurora, and experiencing the peaceful sounds of nature. The amenities were extremely clean and useful. Please note the drive in was a bit rough on a dirt road. We unfortunately arrived later in the evening which we were informed upon arrival was not ok. Just a heads up as this is not included on the Hipcamp listing and we absolutely would have respected this ask. Lastly, communications and check-in instructions from host occur via text message therefore if you do not have service message them before heading to Glacier! Check-in instructions were not provided in the app and there is no service on the property upon arrival. Another couple at the site advised us to call the number provided on Hipcamp on the phone located in the shower room. A woman on a side by side later handed us a phone with the host on the line who notified us that the number on Hipcamp was not the correct number and to be sure to contact the cell number they text you from. The shower was hot and extremely clean, the coffee maker was a life saver in the morning! Overall a beautiful spot to spend the night, absolutely recommend and would return in a heart beat especially to see the aurora!

Absolutely loved this site! My best 3 girl pals and myself ventured through Glacier National Park for the day and drove to this site at sunset not expecting the beauty it offered! We backed our camper van right down next to the water and cooked an amazing dinner! The shower room was clean and provided nice privacy from other campers!

We loved this place! Not only was it a great landing spot for the East side of Glacier but it was a destination all itself for the gorgeous sunsets sunrises and star gazing. Wonderful camping spot right on the lake. Great amenities, shower was awesome, and there were chairs and fire pits at each site. Would recommend 100%. Host were super friendly and accommodating!

You can’t ask for a better location or hosts.
Overview:
There are two showers (one outside and one inside) and the one of best portable toilets I’ve ever experienced. There are two docks and a variety of water craft for you to enjoy. I believe there are two refrigerators onsite and a coffee maker as well to use.
The beach is a wonderful shared space that allows you to relax, look at Glacier national Park, and look over Duck Lake.
The area is quiet and (although close to towns and GNP) it’s dark so great for star gazing.
The hosts really couldn’t be better, they were so welcoming and friendly and offered tips about the local area.
The toilet… ok it’s a porta potty but it’s been converted to be a pit toilet (little to no smell). There’s a light inside that gets triggered when it’s night time and a mirror. There’s cleaner inside which is so considerate so you can give the place a quick swipe before or after using. I’ve never seen the attention to detail given at another site.
I’d stay again in a heartbeat and stay longer. There’s a grassy area with trees (as long as it’s not rented) that the hosts encouraged us to us that overlooks the mountains and lake which made for a great place to do some yoga after a day of hiking.
Book it, you won’t be sorry!

This is a beautiful spot just outside of Glacier National Park.
Watch for the small blueish signs with arrows. The right arrow means turn right after the barbed wire fence onto the dirt road that runs parallel to it. Drive slowly down the road or you’ll scatter everything in your trailer. If you have a low vehicle be careful to not scrape bottom. Your patience will be worth it!
The property is amazing and the hosts have gone above and beyond to make sure your stay is fabulous.
We chose a spot right on the beach which. (Much to our surprise) we could get power and wifi at it. The water could have also been hooked up if we wanted it. The water was so good we filled up a bunch of bottles with it before we left.
There were 2 showers we could used: one outdoor and one inside an enclosed pod. I liked them both and appreciated the unlimited hot water.
There were a bunch of boats we could use if we wanted and spectacular views. If you can stay up late enough, have a late night campfire and stare at the stars for awhile. Spectacular!
The hosts were very friendly and were available whenever we needed them.

It was great being able to camp right on the lake! The owner was friendly and super accommodating with us showing up after dark. The shower trailer with a hot coffee and water was much appreciated on a chilly morning.

Such a great, chill little spot close to Glacier NP, with some great sunset views over the park. Abby and Anna are so kind and easy to talk to, which also helps make the whole atmosphere communal and social. Two shower options, including an outdoor one! Communal spaces are very clean and well kept.

My friend and I are already talking about when we can cone back. Abby and his wife were so welcoming and helpful. The view was incredible. The facilities are full of thoughtful touches. You'd be crazy to stay anywhere else.

Not only was their place convenient to access Many Glacier in the park, but their view on Duck Lake was awesome, their little shower building was very cool, but mostly the TLC given by Abby and Anna was special, indeed. They are very caring people, going out of their way to see their guests' needs and wants accommodated.

An amazing spot on the lake with super friendly and hospitable hosts :). We loved our time here and had amazing sunsets and sunrises. Abby and Anna have done an amazing spot up, and having the shower, sink, fridge for extra amenities was such a bonus! Bring layers, as we did get a good breeze and it cooled off in the evenings, but being right on the lake was stunning. A great little gem thanks guys!

What a great location. An idyllic spot right on the lake, there is a floating raft and kayaks and canoes, everything was perfect. Our hosts were wonderful, checking in to make sure everything was good, and BOTH an outdoor and indoor shower, I felt like a queen. This was the perfect East Glacier get away
