Our quiet, family-friendly campground is located just minutes from the Tsali Mountain Bike Trails, the Nantahala River and Outdoor Center, and the Appalachian Trail. The camp is located just steps from Fontana Lake where you can enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, paddle-boarding or just leisurely enjoying the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. When the sun goes down, the fireflies come alive and are only outshined by the beautiful night sky views. Our campground features generous and well-groomed tent pads, 20/30 and 50 amp power connections (full hookup available), freshwater access at every site, picnic tables and fire rings. If you’re traveling in a van, RV or pulling a trailer, we have options for all our guests. Our bathhouse and laundry facilities are impeccable and we have an elevated deck area that overlooks the camp and is perfect for gatherings or just sitting in a rocking chair enjoying a good book. If you really must be productive or keep yourself connected to the outside world, we have fast, reliable high-speed WiFi available throughout the camp. My husband and I had a great time RV camping at Turkey Creek. The sites were amply sized and tree covered. Rick, the host, was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely return to Turkey Creek!

Tent Site In Nantahala Forest
We loved our 3 night camping trip at Turkey Creek Campground. The host Rick was very nice and greeted us upon arriving. The campsite was one of the cleanest I’ve been to. And the bathroom was definitely the cleanest I’ve seen at a campground. Shower and laundry were both available! It was nice to have a dishwashing area to use after dinner each night. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay! We saw Rick twice a day as he went around the campground to greet everyone and make sure everyone had what they needed. Would definitely be back again!

30AMP RV Site in Nantahala Forest
We loved our stay at Turkey Creek! The amenities and amazing hospitality provided by Rick were top notch! Rick checked on us every day to make sure we had what we needed and even accommodated a move mid-week when our site flooded due to unusual amounts of rain. We loved the proximity to nearby attractions including Nantahala Outdoor Center, Bryson City and both the Fontana Dam and Oconaluftee sides of the Smokies! We were so sad to leave and will definitely return!!

Gorgeous Creekside RV Site
Turkey Creek campground was wonderful. It’s beautifully landscaped and well kept. The bath houses are truly very clean and comfortable. We had an easy time finding the campground and Rick was wonderful and helpful in every way imaginable. Our camper Van got a leak in the radiator and he was helpful in trying to get us information about mechanics and offering to give us a ride if we needed it. I would definitely come back here again and would recommend to anyone. The campground is near a beautiful river and lake. They’re hiking and bike trails at the campground. It’s close to Bryson city and Cherokee. There’s also easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Very tucked away spot and next to a small creek. Bathroom and showers were kept clean. The attendants were accommodating and the other campers were pleasant but the sites are kinda close. I'd stay again!

This is a very clean, and nice campground. The spots are not spread out, but it was not a problem at all. The shower room is fantastic for a campground! Bathrooms are some of the cleanest you'll find in a campground. Very close to Wesser and the Nantahala area.

Amazing stay at this campground. The site we stayed in was #31 for a small travel trailer and it was quiet and clean. The bathhouse was very clean and nice! Easy to grab your firewood, just text the number provided for getting charged so you can get wood at any time of the day or night! The staff were very nice! Close to beautiful sight seeing near the Nantahala National Forest, I highly recommend staying here!
