Really enjoyed the location and losing cell service was an added bonus. It was quiet and perfect. The site was clean and we appreciated the bonus of a citronella candle to keep the bugs away. Close to all things hocking hills.

Site 4 - Yourway Camp

We loved camping on Margie’s land, she has plenty of spaced out camp sites, the views were awesome, had plenty for my little man to explore at camp. Margie was very nice and helpful. Nice quiet campground, we will be camping here again!! Plus the shower is a huge bonus!!

I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and peaceful property to stay at. This site was perfect for my 10x14 tent, a hammock and my truck. The flushable toilet in the outhouse was super nice and the hot shower was amazing after a long hike. Margie and Todd are great hosts, couldn't ask for nicer people. They also had some great suggestions for hiking. Thank you again for making our atay so wonderful. Maggie, Zowie and I can't wait to come back.

We loved the stay here! It was very quiet and peaceful. The owners were very friendly and they provided wood for us at our site! The sites were clean and double 00 was convenient to get to the shower and bathroom. We stayed memorial weekend to see hocking hills state park and it was convenient to get there it was about a 18 minute drive but was worth it to stay here. We would definitely come back!

I really enjoyed the close proximity to the Hocking Hills State Park. All of the available facilities and equipment worked well. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of rain and the majority of the campsite was very muddy.

solid site! outhouse with flush toilet was really nice to have, and the site is very convenient for Hocking Hills access. we set up our tent on the wooden platform (Site #1) to keep away from the cold/wet. overall had a great stay

Great hosts, awesome site with sounds of small stream and privacy yet close enough to hocking hills hiking for easy day hikes. Hot shower and ample firewood are extra bonuses! Would definitely stay again!

Peaceful serene site

Nice remote feel to it. South facing ridge so in Fall/Winter you can see both sunrise and sunset from site 3. My little 2006 Honda CRV got up there no problem, with a caveat that my I have trail tires on it (Falken Wildpeaks A/T Trail). Put it in first gear and turn off the VSA. Keep a constant lo speed to climb the hill to the amazing campsite. Gunning it will cause tires to spin and lose grip.

This was me and my dogs first time camping at a non commercial (aka KOA places of that sort) place doing a solo semi roughing it camping and it was a great experience. The property is pretty amazing, lots of good views and if you have the stamina you can hike up and get even more amazing views (trails all over). The owners were super friendly and offering if I needed anything, but mostly left me too myself and I give them a ton of credit for creating such a place. I was on site 2, it was easy to get to and well kept. I had plenty of room for a full size truck and a 6 person tent. Now if you need internet for music or whatever, I have at&t I got none while there. If you still have 1 of those Garmin GPSs I had no problem with signal to get too the place. Site 2 had a Porta potty within a stones throw. If you see a curious Doberman lurking, that's Roxy and she's super sweet and my dog fell in love with her.

Hocking Hills Area is a plus!

YourWay campground is wonderfully quiet and beautiful. Our campsite was set back just far enough to feel secluded despite having some campers in the other sites. Located in the Hocking Hills area, it provides easy access to all of the hiking trails and activities that the fall season brings. Of course, it gets extremely crowded around the park area so can always chill at your campsite and throw another log on the fire. The amenities of the shower and flushing "outhouse" toilet was a nice touch. The owners were happy to share all of the hard work they are doing to improve the campgroup. This one is worth returning to.

This was a great place to camp! Site 2 was an easy walk to the bathroom and shower, we had plenty of privacy at our site, and the camp sites are surrounded by beautiful trees. Margie and her husband were really friendly and hospitable.

October Camping Near Hocking Hills

This site felt secluded, private, beautiful and peaceful. Views of sunrise and sunset from the ridge were excellent. The firepit, privy and table made things comfortable. We had a tiny signal on the ridge w/ AT&T - more than we expected! Definitely needs 4W/AWD. We had no trouble in our outback in dry conditions.

The spot was great! free night of firewood! The hills were super steep and felt more like a crazy 4 wheeler trail so definitely need awd or 4wd but I had a ton of fun driving up and down it in my Wrx! Would definitely recommend to someone who is looking for more primitive camping away from all the family campgrounds with tons of people. Also only about 10-15 minutes away from Hocking Hills State park

Secluded fun with the kids!

Mid- Ridge

This was a great first family trip with the whole family of 6 (mom and dad and 4 little kids)! We got there early evening and were able to climb the hill in my 4 wheel pickup. Be prepared to negotiate a couple tight turns and parking spot. I did back into a tree leaving the site but that was kinda my fault. I told the owners and they mentioned plans to remove a tree or two in the fall to make it easier… so this may be no issue in the future. The site was completely secluded for us, so no strange visitors or stray dogs to deal with! Super quiet and the owners really just leave you to it. Plenty of space to camp and park. Not like other spots I’ve camped, this spot is more sandy than bare ground and grass. So don’t plan on staying too clean (cuz you’re camping)! Especially with kids! Shower and bathroom near entrance of the property were great to have. Actual, real plumbing with a real porcelain toilet seemed like a luxury! With our 4 littles, we visited Old Man’s Cave, Ash Cave and Rock House. All within 15 minutes! Such a special first time camping for the kids! Big thanks to the owners! Doing a great job!

Site 4 - Yourway Camp

This site definitely needed 4-wheel drive. I arrived at midnight and it was very easy to find and set up. #4 is super secluded and a great camping site. The place has a flushable toilet and shower at the base camp. We will be back for sure. I wish we could have done more than two nights.

A piece of solitude

Totally would come back here in a heartbeat and most likely will again! Definitely need the 4WD to get to the ridge. We appreciated the firewood, also brought our own too. My sister and I brought my son and our dog camping this past weekend. We all enjoyed it. Cooked tons of food and checked out Old Man’s Cave. But honestly, we enjoyed the site the most. Clean outhouse. It rained Saturday night, but the site never got muddy. Host was super nice and answered our questions. This is a really nice site if you are looking for privacy and being in the woods. We never heard any people or traffic. Enjoyed the sounds of nature. It was perfect. Thank you for a great stay!

This was our first time in Hocking Hills, camping as a family, and using Hipcamp. The site was easy to find, 10 minutes from Hocking hills, and even had some firewood waiting for us. The site was nice and remote (required 4x4 to climb a fun hill) and we didn't hear anyone else around us.

The host and campground were great, a lovely friendly dog that occasionally comes to visit. The only really "bad" part was the big ol' brown recluse and his home in the bathroom.
