I love this farm !!!!! I only stopped for a quick stop over as I needed to get to Santa Cruz for work, but it was absolutely lovely and relaxing.
What is interesting, and I am not sure how it was accomplished, but this is a true working farm with sheep, goats, cows, horses, and chickens literally 200 feet away and I did not see ONE BUG or fly the whole time I was there! It was 82 degrees, a wonderful breeze through the tent screens (cooled down when the sun went down!) so I would absolutely expect some bugs around somewhere, but nada ! I didn't expect that, but it was nice 🌸
I plan to stay again but hopefully for 2-3 days to get some quality time on the farm. Easy to find and great communicator. Also great dinner recommendation from Lara ! Bonus points ❤️❤️

We absolutely loved our time at Lara’s farm! The glamping tent was cute and comfortable. The bathroom and shower room were quality and just a short walk from the tent. The farm animals and the land were the highlight of our stay - from the sheep to the cows, farm dogs and cats, we loved being surrounded by their noises and watching them. The add-ons we selected were well worth it! We enjoyed the farm to tent breakfast and charcuterie board. Lara was the most gracious host and we loved chatting with her and meeting her kiddos! She gave wonderful suggestions for hikes and restaurants in the area. After staying on the farm, we are dreaming of having a similar set up someday!! Thank you for having us!!

We had an amazing experience tent camping at Lara’s farm for two nights at the end of May. We lucked out with great weather and enjoyed waking up to the sounds of all the birds and animals. The compost bathroom was clean and the camping area was well-kept. We added the breakfast and it was worth every penny. Lara prepared and delivered it herself to our camp, explained where all the ingredients came from on the farm, and even made sure we were able to purchase fresh eggs, jam, and honey to enjoy on the rest of our trip. Lara and her family’s love of the land and their guests is obvious and shows in the beautiful land, healthy animals, and wonderful accommodations. Highly highly recommend staying here!

Lara’s HipCamp site was absolutely fantastic—one of the best camping experiences we’ve had! The campsite itself was peaceful and well-kept, with a stunning view. Lara was incredibly kind and responsive throughout our stay, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. My girls especially loved spending time with the farm animals and were thrilled to help let the sheep out in the morning. We happened to be there on my birthday, and to my surprise and delight, Lara even gave me a thoughtful birthday gift. It was such a memorable and heartwarming experience—highly recommend!

Our only regret about our stay was not booking for more nights! It’s a lovely property and great hospitality from Lara! She was super responsive and wow, what an amazing chef! Definitely spring for the breakfast - everything was delicious, and the honey (from the bees on their farm) was the best I’ve ever had. And they have a little roadside farm stand where you can snag some goodies for the road. Will absolutely rebook next time we’re in the area!

What a beautiful place and beautiful people! We loved our peaceful stay on the farm. We had a great time walking around visiting all the animals, and just relaxing in so much verdant beauty. It's really inspiring to see how well the family takes care of the land!
The amenities were just right and so beautifully set up - clean, convenient , and so charming. Lara and Joel were such great hosts, even giving us a jump when the car wouldn't start in the morning.
I highly recommend this quiet, beautiful spot, with views of green pastures, wooded mountains, and the grandeur of Mt McLoughlin in the distance. If you're lucky, you might even get a personal tour with the host's darling kiddos!

This is a beautiful place—perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful, but not completely secluded, campsite. The daily activities of the farm create just the right amount of liveliness without ever being intrusive. Lara and the family members and crew who run the place are all incredibly kind and welcoming. The animals are clearly well cared for, and there’s plenty to do in the area. Lara is more than happy to help you figure out what activities are available nearby. We’d love to come back!

We had an amazing stay at Lane Creek. Lara is an awesome host, we felt immediately welcomed and taken care of. The property is incredible, and while usually we tent camp, we decided to go with one of the glamping experiences this time around and it did not disappoint. Our dog enjoyed sniffing around and lounging in the sun. We look forward to returning!

I wish I could have stayed longer. This is the cutest little valley I’ve ever seen. And Lara has done a great job with the Hipcamp accommodations. The tents are well appointed, and the outhouse is quite cozy. Even on her Mother’s Day outing, Lara was responsive and very attentive in her communications.
And if you’re wondering about smelling animals, since it is a working farm, I did not smell a thing. I’m still not sure how she manages that!

Very beautiful farm with rolling hills and a view of Mt. McLaughlin on a clear day (you’ll know what I mean when you stand at that point in the farm). They just installed a 3 burner propane range which is great for cooking with a sink and fridge right next to it. We stayed in the Ancient Oak glamping tent. It got down to 40 degrees one night, but we stayed warm with the propane heater in the tent. Shower is great and spacious with warm water. They have sheep, cows, chickens, and a baby goat and kitty that were really cute. The kitty followed us around all the time. We love this area of Oregon. Lots of farms and wineries in the area for fresh eats and drinks. Lara is a gracious host. My only recommendation is to add a mirror in the shower area.

This was my second time camping at Lane Creek Farm, and I highly recommend it! They have a little slice of heaven out there right against the hills, and if you're an animal lover like me, you can walk the property road and see cows, chickens, goats, pigs, cats (probably so many more animals I'm not even remembering!). Lara is so friendly, and both times I have stayed they have accommodated my arrival times. I've both tent-camped and car-camped, and I love the easy access to the (VERY clean and tidy) outhouse, mini fridge, and space for potable water, trash, recyclables, etc.

Lara and the animals were kind enough to help me out with a couple skits I was doing for a Hipcamp campaign! I’ve never seen this good of people farming at this kind of scale before and it’s one of the coolest things to hear about. Lara is hilarious, and you’re gonna have to get a few things from her farm stand during your stay 😋✌️

We had a lovely stay at Lara’s. Best Hipcamp around! Beautiful surroundings, lots of cute animals on the property. And delicious homemade treats at the farm stand! Outdoor shower was also amazing !

Lara was the perfect host! Easy to communicate with. She met us at the gate to escort us to our spot. Lane Creek Reserve is a wonderful, picturesque, pastoral oasis. It’s a working farm where you see the animals grazing in the lush green fields. The camping sites vary from glamping tents to level travel trailer sites. The location is wonderful. There is fishing, kayaking, and golf close by. Oh , there is tasty organic jams, honey, fresh eggs, and meats at the farm stand. We will definitely be back!!

I love to camp, but honestly having a huge canvas tent that you can walk around in with a comfy bed and os cozy warm ( I was there when dog’s water bowl outside was frozen in the morning) is such a treat! The incredible value of Lara’s place can’t be understated. Phenomenal place to let my reactive dog have a great time exploring close by off leash - a rare experience to find with so many human amenities…. Thank you for all the thought that was involved in making this a great stay, and look forward to a return visit.

Lara’s property was so nice with amazing views all around! The tent was so cozy and we stayed warm with the heater. The bathroom and shower was spotless and we even heard the roosters crow early in the morning! We would definitely stay here again.

Lara is lovely and we loved hearing the sheep bleat at night and the rooster crow in the morning. The shower was great!

Excellent site with lovely views. We stayed two nights and biked the region. The shower service option was so wonderful. Lara has excellent communication and great suggestions for local restaurants, etc.

This was such a great find. The farmland is beautiful and serene (except for the rooster!), and with only a few spots and a gate, it felt very safe. It’s also conveniently located—maybe 10 mins off of I-5 and a quick drive to Jacksonville. Lara is an amazing host. We really enjoyed visiting w her. She has created an inviting place with terrific amenities (super clean and spacious shower and toilet), animals you can visit, and a warm friendly nature. She was responsive and helpful.
Site one has the most privacy for tent camping. I hope to come back and try one of the glamping tents spots next!
We also bought some organic, non-GMO chicken and eggs from the farm to take home!

Lara was a nice and helpful host. I had a couple challenges finding the location in the dark without cell service but that is not to put that on the host. Lara did all she could to guide me in. Once I arrived I found the site to be mostly level and mostly private although there was another camper 50 yards away or so. And the well appointed outhouse is almost dare I say, cute.

Outstanding glamping experience! Lara was a warm and gracious host with timely and thorough communications before and during the visit. The yurt was super clean and comfortable: Great bed, propane heater for cool night, lots of lanterns, fans for warm days, country decor, picnic basket, and all the amenities for relaxing on the deck and a safe and sound night sleep. Stunning sunset, moonrise and sunrise views!
Loved the beautiful shower house and super clean restroom: Hot water, clean linens, all easy to access and use.
And the food, beyond delicious! I added the charcuterie board and breakfast to my glamping experience and was blown away. The charcuterie was epic with great variety and volume. The breakfast amazing: from-scratch pancakes, yogurt parfait (heaven in a mason jar w home-made yogurt, granola, raspberries and honey!!), bacon and fresh coffee. Lara accommodated my food allergy by substituting an avocado toast w wagu beef bacon for the eggs- absolutely divine, 5-star eats while glamping!
Really nice community space, with shaded sturdy tables, propane grill, small refrigerator/freezer, and outdoor games available. And the vegetable stand— I purchased honey, jam and a variety of delicious veggies and meats! (Lara had ice available to pack meat for transport.)
So much appreciation for Lara and teams hard work and vision - this stay was a last minute decision based on evolving schedule, but now Lara’s land will be my planned layover for future roadtrips north!
