We really enjoyed camping here! Lots of flat land for setting up a tent and listening to the stream was so relaxing. The only small issues that we ran into involved the outhouse; the outhouse wasn’t bolted into the ground (at least in the front, I didn’t check the back), so it was a bit rickety. There was also a good deal of broken glass on the hill leading up to the outhouse. Aside from that, it was a wonderful campsite!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Curts Camp, and it was a fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by our host, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His genuine kindness added a personal touch that made our stay even more enjoyable.
The campsite itself is beautifully maintained, nestled in a rural spot with close residences, its just secluded enough, and was quiet and felt like we were out in the middle of nowhere! Whether you prefer setting up a tent or parking an RV, there are plenty of spots to choose from, all surrounded by nature, water and the soothing sounds of nature.
Our host provided us with handy tips on local attractions, hiking trails, and even shared a few secrets for fishing. It was clear he is passionate about this area and truly wants guests to have the best possible experience.
If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with warm hospitality, I highly recommend staying here.
I can't wait to return for another adventure!

Very nice property! Full of lots of woods & exploring. Our host was kind & made sure we were set up! Definitely will be back! Beautiful land! & so much exploring for your dog! Neighbors are super friendly as well!

The site was well maintained and flat. The owner was very hospitable and offered free wood. Also, anyone who drove by stopped and said hello and checked in. Very nice community.

Curt is a wonderful host and his sites are always impeccably kept. There is always firewood available and the porta-potties are kept very clean and always stocked. This campground is my family’s favorite.

Upon arrival we were pleased to see this campsite. Clean and undisturbed. While camping I sustained an injury while splitting wood. Curt was able to guide us to a hospital to get stitched up. When we returned he offered us a free night to make up for lost time. This was a very nice gesture and we will be staying with them again next camping trip.

This was not a private property. The host was very accommodating but there were many instances I would.od preferred different. We were along the river but multiple hours of kayakers use your site as a docking spot. There should of been no docking signs for the price we paid. There were two major roads around us creating no privacy. Very over priced for what we got and we have camped many places and got more for less. Would not recommend. Pretty sure the bathrooms haven't been cleaned since April according to the posting.

Curt went above and beyond to make sure we had an awesome adventure. When our original reserved site wasn’t well suited for my van, Curt happily put us in a wonderful site with the creek just across the road. We had such a great time and will be returning soon. Curt was a phenomenal host!

Relaxation & Peace the surroundings are beautiful!!! I normally do an RV spot but this time I did a tent spot.
I LOVE IT OUT THERE!!
& Im pretty sure my puppy loved this spot better he was closer to the water & he could go swimming when ever he wanted lol I also love that it's not far from where I live on my real bad days I go out there... to calm down & just relax. The camp is always clean & well takin care of.. I so wish I could spend / stay more out there
It's a whole different world to me out there..

Drove in at night with our RPod 192 from Ohio and never been to the area. Some winding and twisty roads bit fairly easy to find. Set up at night. Didn't realize how close to the tracks we were. Had a train go buy and scared the life out of me while we were sleeping. Not complaining it's all part of the adventure. Easy to book and it was very clean. Will stay again.

So quiet, clean and easy in and out. Sweet and simple. It's not actually a campground per se, and the bathroom isn't a structure, it's a portable, but that was not an issue for us. Our trailer has a bathroom and shower. The water pressure was good!

It was a very nice, flat large site out in the open and next to train tracks(which we only saw 1 train in the 3 days there). It was a very quiet site and we enjoyed our stay.

I love this little camp site! It’s conveniently located, while feeling private and peaceful. It’s a great starter site for new campers and a really awesome and relaxing site for those with lots of experience. This will always be a place I return to. A short drive out of Pittsburgh and really a great spot outdoors for recharging.

My weekend camping trip was actually very pleasant. The hosts land is far enough back in the woods that the world doesn’t interfere with the peace and quiet but is close enough that if an item is needed it’s not a burden to get to town to shop. The host Curt and his friend and assistant Don take very good care of the camp sites and are exceptional hosts and just all around good guys.
The sites are basic, set up for the true campers. There are no wash houses for showers but bathroom facilities are provided that are clean and well maintained. Well seasoned wood is available at a very reasonable price for the amount of wood provided. All in all myself and my Peanut (puppy) had a wonderfully peaceful time which is what was most needed.
If what you seek is just a plain old fashioned great weekend of just camping and being in the middle of nature I HIGHLY recommend Curt’s campground.

Absolutely beautiful area with a plentiful river neat by. Great for kayaking or floating and fishing. The Camp Host, Curt. Is a friendly, helpful person. I spent 3 nights and 4 days there and I enjoyed my stay.

We were so overwhelmed with the help of the guy who was selling the woods. He was so quick to inform and help us set up the tent because of the upcoming storm. But there were no trash cans available as mentioned on the camp listing if trash available meant the same meaning. Site was big enough to accommodate 11 person tent. Rain spoiled our camping experience and we had to leave a day prior to the check out date. Thanks
