No complaints! Beautiful land and well kept facilities in the campground. Host was very welcoming and hospitable.
My partner has never been camping before and she loved it.
Gas station a few miles away and a few towns a little further if you forget to bring something!

The cabin is beautiful. It felt like I stepped back in time. A lot of privacy around it. Fire place is super functional. Andy has solar lights and candles. I wish he would have those oil lamps as well. Next time, oil lamps would be my special request.

The Cubby was a perfect spot to hang out and relax. The property was well maintained and Connie and Andy were friendly and accommodating hosts. The cabin is rustic but had all we needed for a comfortable night in the Loyalsock!

This is now one of my favorite spots. The cubby is perfect, comfy bed, heat and ac, and a real refrigerator. It feels like a tree house, with a little deck on the back and lots of windows facing the woods. Bath house has excellent hot showers. I can't wait to go back.

I had a truly lovely stay at this cozy and peaceful cabin. The atmosphere was calm and perfect for disconnecting and relaxing. It was quite chilly during my visit, but the small heater kept the space comfortable, and Andy kindly provided extra blankets, which I really appreciated. The cabin also has air conditioning for warmer days. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet retreat surrounded by nature and a thoughtful host.

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. It is especially quiet and we enjoyed the nature around us. The wood stove came in handy our last morning as it was too windy to have a campfire and it was a bit chilly that morning. Next time we might bring our fishing poles.

BOOK THIS! Walk out your private cabin and down a hill to the left is a trout stream and to the right is a mountain to climb with caves and crazy rocks!! Cabin is rustic and awesome! Andy and Connie are 👍👍! Our dogs ran like crazy! Stunning views! We were so happy we booked an extra day! Thank you guys for your wonderful hospitality!

Our weekend getaway to this cozy cabin was awesome! We went towards the end of February and it was lows of 20 which got colder at night, but the wood stove was very warm. Our hosts were super nice and stocked us with firewood during our stay. The cabin is definitely rustic which is what we wanted.
We decided to hang near the cabin and hike the mountain/cliff behind the cabin. It was neat to see the small caves and rocks covered in ice. Very straight up the small logging trails to state forest, but a good workout.
We will be coming back!!

We loved the rustic cabin! The hosts provided plenty of wood to keep the fire going and lots of blankets to keep us warm in February. We had a hard time finding the location originally but after messaging them, the host met us out front to show us where to go. We would definitely love to go back.

Woodzie cabin has everything you need for a simple getaway! Wood stove kept us toasty warm in December. Andy and Connie were great hosts! Plenty of trails to explore in the nearby state parks, we definitely hope to be back!

I actually couldn't stay at the Woodsie due to unforeseen circumstances but I was able to stay at one of the cabins at the campground. The cabin was very nice and a great alternative with many amenities. The campground is only minutes from town, Loyalsock State Park, and World's End. They were very accommodating and patient with me. The campground was also clean, quiet, and serene. They were attentive to my needs as they arose and were pleasant the entire time. I look forward to staying there again.

Connie’s husband Andy actually put my friend and I in one of the renovated cabins instead of what I originally booked. We were the only ones there, which I needed because of the stress of the city life.

I needed a place to re-connect with my two college-age boys.
No WiFi = No distractions. (YAY!)
During the day, we hiked in the nearby (amazing) World’s End State Park – and talked.
After dark, we talked round the campfire. And talked while we star-gazed.
We caught up. We connected.
This place is truly magical. I knew it when my oldest said, at the end of the weekend: “Dad- Thanks for arranging this. I really needed this.”
If you need to get off-grid & re-connect, you will love this place.
And Connie & Andy are two great hosts: Friendly & accommodating.
I can’t wait to visit here again.

It is rustic, but if you’re cool with that, this is the place for you. Hosts were great. Cabin is comfortable. They also own a campground that’s a short drive away for showers, running water and WiFi. Overall we had a great time here. Great place to unplug and relax.

We had a wonderful time at this cozy cabin. We spent time at the nearby creek and used the facilities at the nearby Campground. It was a little hard to find our way but Connie sent directions with photos, and a video. Her whole family was thoughtful and friendly. The driveway was a little rough & you could sometimes hear cars passing but totally worth it. We had a great time.

The cabin is really quite comfortable and romantic. They hosts were helpful and really nice. The bed was comfortable, and the cabin was very clean. There is an air-conditioner and heater we didn't need either. My only concern is that through hip camp it appears that it is located at the saw mill. It is actually at a campground about a mile away. So it isn't very secluded. Also, please note the cabin does not have working water, the tub is a decorative piece. Overall, for the fee it was awesome.

My wife and I needed a night away, just the two of us, and this was the perfect getaway. It was secluded and private. It is located on a private campground but we were far enough away that we were not bothered! Would definitely recommend!

I enjoyed staying at the Cubby. It is nested in the corner of a cabin campsite so we were able to get privacy. The cabin was spacious and clean and had a coffee machine (and yes there is electricity in the cabin!!). There was a bathroom and shared shower with hot water on the other side of the campsite. There is no cell signal whatsoever in nearby towns and the campsite so make sure you download offline map and confirm the address with Connie. The address Hipcamp told me turned out to be not the address where Cubby was located in my case. There is Wifi on the campsite.

I loved the remote atmosphere that was still an easy drive from "main roads". I enjoyed seeing deer close up on my walks and listening to the singling of the frogs and peepers at night. These things and the sounds of the nearby Elk Creek lulled me into one if the most relaxed, best sleeps I've had in a long time. My hosts were easy to communicate with, and I was very appreciative of the campground area wifi that enable me to contact them if needed, since cell service is problematic in the area.

A better description with accurate pictures of the cabin and its surroundings. The cabin was fine for our use and we would even stay there again in the future. Also we were to understand by the description and message from the owner that this cabin was more isolated than it actually was. It was about 30 feet or so from other occupied cabins, not Secluded at all.

Sawmill Woodzie Cabin
Our stay was exactly as we expected, and everything we hoped for. We had the misfortune of mostly rainy and unseasonably, cold weather, but the cabin kept us dry and the woodstove kept things toasty. We were happy to have water or electricity, as we were looking for simplicity.
Note that the pictures show show a tiny kitchenette, but it’s not functional right now, as the listing correctly indicates. It’s probably easiest to bring gallons of drinking water and to fill up containers for dishwashing by the hose at the side of the host house.
This is a rustic cabin in the woods. You should expect to see a bug here and a cobweb there; this is part of the experience!

Loved this cozy little cubby. The view off the balcony is awesome and even though it rained one night it was serene and beautiful listening to the rain and watching it through the clear parts of the roof. Also would like to say that the hosts are amazing! They were so nice and accommodating we would definitely recommend and we will be back!

The Woodrow was perfect for what my partner and I wanted: private, cozy, and surrounded by trees. Connie sent me lots of pictures and a video to make sure we found our way to the cabin. Andy started the Woodstock for us, so the Woodzie was warm by the time we arrived. Plenty of fire wood to keep the fire going. There were so many blankets for when we struggled against our own abilities to restart the fire! The bed was so comfortable. They had candles, solar lights, and plenty of toilet paper in a cabinet by the back door for use in the composting outside toilet.
Admittedly, we were vastly unprepared for the lack of running water or working stove. All of which are completely my fault! I misread and mixed up the listing for Connie and Andy’s other cabins at their camp grounds. Thankfully, they’re great hosts. The morning after we arrived, Andy came to check on us. He gave us directions to the nearby Sunoco so we could buy some water. Which led us to discover that we were so close to the World’s End state park. We had a lovely time in the forest!

This cabin felt like home! Off grid but close to main roads. Very cozy inside. Cabin was all warmed up before arrival. The forest feels were the greatest. Would definitely revisit! 🍻
