Big Water Marina is a full-service facility that provides an unspoiled oasis for all types of lake lovers. Located on the largest expanse of open water on Lake Hartwell, the marina is one of the most accessible spots for visitors to fully embrace the atmosphere of the lake — on and off the water. Campers can enjoy the best of lake livin' with a stay at our waterfront campground. With over 40+ RV sites, including full hook-up and partial hook-up sites, and access to free wi-fi, fire pits and picnic tables there are so many ways to camp *your way*. Our campground also features a Tiny Cabin Village with 6 new cabins. Each cabin accommodates between 4-6 guests and includes kitchen/dining areas, bedrooms and/or lofts, full bathrooms, and a porch so you can enjoy a family vacation or an escape with friends. In addition, our property boasts a variety of top-notch amenities that are available to our guests. Spend a day on the water with our selection of watercraft rentals, which includes pontoon boats, kayaks, paddle boards and hyrdobikes. Rentals come equipped with all necessary safety gear and are available to rent for the full day or a half day, so you and your crew can explore the lake at your leisure. Visitors can also enjoy some family-friendly fun at Splash Island, our newest recreation area with access to the Wibit inflatable obstacle course as well as lounge areas set on our sandy waterfront beaches. Big Water Marina & Campground provides campers with a lakeside getaway + gorgeous views and full access to our ship store, boat ramps and docks during each stay. Throughout warmer months, visitors can also enjoy an afternoon on land at our lakeside bar and grill (open seasonally). Dine by the water or catch incredible sunsets at their rooftop bar.

Get the ultimate camping experience at Big Water Marina! Located less than 50 miles from Greenville, SC, our lakeside campground is nestled in the heart of the Upstate with gorgeous mountain views. Our RV campground hosts 40+ sites and provides an array of services and amenities to ensure a fun-filled and successful camping trip every time. Treat yourself to a luxury camping experience with convenient access to our general store, restrooms and showers, on-site seasonal bar and grill, and a variety of recreational activities on and off the water. Our campground also features a Tiny Cabin Village with 6 new cabins. Each cabin accommodates between 4-6 guests and includes kitchen/dining areas, bedrooms and/or lofts, full bathrooms, and a porch so you can enjoy a family vacation or an escape with friends.  Spend the day on the water on one of our boat or watercraft rentals or enjoy some family-friend fun on our new floating inflatable obstacle course. Our rental selection includes pontoon boats, kayaks, paddleboards, and hydrobikes. Finish off the night with breathtaking sunset views from our rooftop bar overlooking the lake. Our sites are equipped with 30, 50, and 10 amp 110 electric outlets, water, sewage, fire pits, picnic tables, a pavilion, swimming areas, and playgrounds. Each RV site can accommodate up to 10 people. Please note, hook-ups and pricing vary by site location. Tent camping is not available at this time.

Located at Big Water Marina & Campground, this RV rental is situated in a gravel campsite overlooking beautiful Lake Hartwell. The camper comfortably sleeps 4 and comes equipped with top-notch accommodations to fit all your camping needs. The layout features a full kitchen – including a full-sized fridge, stovetop, microwave, island, and sink – along with a bathroom, separate bedroom, dining area, and a pull-out sofa with a queen bed. The campsite offers 50-amp service, free wifi, and access to full sewer, water, and power hookups. The site includes exclusive access to a private firepit, clean public restrooms, a general store, a boat ramp, and picnic tables. Campers can also take advantage of the numerous amenities available on-site including pontoon and watercraft rentals, lounge beach areas, a new inflatable waterpark, and a waterfront bar & grill (open seasonally). Throughout the year, guests can even join in on special events like our Fourth of July Celebration or live music shows. From sunup to sundown, this RV rental and campsite provides everything you need for a successful, fun-filled camping trip done *your* way.

Lake front sites don’t have sewer hook up and the dump station isn’t always open. But it was still a great stay! The restaurant has great food and drinks. Live music was a plus!

Location couldn’t be beat during the shoulder season. On a quiet cove with an open air bar/restaurant still open for end of summer, and cooler temps.

This site was amazing! We rented a boat and the family loved the inflatable waterpark! Ashley was super helpful and quick to respond! We will 100% be returning next summer!

Men’s shower needed cleaned badly. In fact I believe there is an alien fungus growing on the shower curtain. It was scary

Camper was nice as well as Marina. Arrived on Wednesday and everything closed early. Eat at the restaurant for lunch on Thursday looked like the weekend would be fun

Overall I enjoyed my stay at the marina, but did not enjoy the RV. We were not greeted by the host when we got there, the heater and AC did not work properly so it was very cold, it was dirty inside and not properly cleaned. I messaged the host regarding the heater situation and I did not get a reply.
