we loved our stay in the cabin! super clean, super comfy and cozy. Hosts were very friendly and communicative. Bath houses were great addition! We loved being away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough for activities!

Excellent experience. Truly a family owned and run small campground. Very responsive and took care of all my needs and questions. Nice bathhouse and trail up to the peak. Pleasantly away from the tourist areas but easy access to several entrances to Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Honeysuckle’s campground was super welcoming, clean, and inviting. It had gorgeous views of the mountains, clean bathrooms, and wonderful owners. They take great care of the area, and we’re super helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend if you are want a more private and secluded campground away from the hussle and bustle of Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. It was a great place to go after hiking all day!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this campsite. Beyond clean! Cleanest bathrooms I’ve seen, they have everything you need in the barn house. ( such as microwave, little fridges, stove, wash station, etc they have wood available for purchase) Very spacious apart vs. other campsites, not on top of each other, very quiet, very gorgeous, right by the smokys & near the entrance ( at least 20 min away not far at all) and not far from Main Street of Gatlinburg, it’s nestle in the mountains and you have a view on the site, we herd lots of wildlife, and if it’s a clear night, stunning view of the stars. Definitely coming back again! Everything you need to enjoy a very quiet campsite.

Very clean and quiet place! The bathrooms were well kept and very cute. The hosts were very attentive; they responded to messages quickly and were eager to make sure our stay was comfortable. We were able to rent a solar generator to ensure my husband could sleep with his c-pap machine. A perfect spot for families with plenty of space for the kids and pets to play. We will definitely be returning!

We absolutely loved tent-camping here for the weekend! Large space for our family of 5. Beautiful views, quiet and peaceful. Facilities were clean and easily accessible. Super close to many trail and hiking options in the Smokies. We loved hearing the many sounds of nature as we fell asleep. Host was very kind and helpful. Would definitely return and camp here in the future!

Shaded Creekside Campsite 1
We had a great stay at the Shaded Creekside Campsite. There were several other campers present while we were there but we still had plenty of privacy and room. The directions to the property were easy to follow and hosts were responsive and welcoming. Would recommend if you are in the area and looking for somewhere to pitch a tent!

Turkey Knob: Camp in the Smokies
Pros- This place is peaceful. The view was mesmerizing. We really enjoy the pop up camper. The hosts were super responsive. They provided us with everything we needed to get to the site. The best part is that they have WIFI. Cons- Camp sites were way too close to each other. It was hard for us to turn on our music enough for all us to hear. All of our concentration was focused on trying to not be too loud. Since we didn’t want to disturb our neighboring sites. For those of you, who like the idea of Meet and Greet while enjoying the beautiful nature view, then this place is for you. The bathroom was super clean. It was good opportunity to get few steps in lol. But it was a little far to walk down in the middle of the night.

Off-Grid Creekside Glamping Tent
Honeysuckle Springs was a beautiful place to “glamp”! The site was well kept and the bathhouse was kept clean and stocked. Beautiful wildlife and views make me want to visit again!

My partner and I had a wonderful weekend here! The bathrooms were great and the view was beautiful! The owner was kind and checked in with us throughout the stay. He provided us with great hiking recommendations in the area, including a trail they have right off the campsite! Definitely recommend!

What a delight! John, Judah and family have made this property so wonderful to unwind in a serene setting. The supplied bathrooms were spacious with great temp/pressure. Judah was so helpful with recommendations and a generous fire bundle of only 7 bucks. We were by the very little creek ,but up on the hill the views were beautiful. We’d love to stay up there next time. If you want to be out of the hustle of tourism, but still accessible to this side of the park, this is great and the family earns it!

I had a great time tent camping at this site! It was very convenient and in perfect proximity to the amenities that are advertised. I utilized the bathroom, shower and sink to clean my dishes and each surpassed my expectations. The WiFi was perfect for the short time I needed it and I would highly recommend staying here. Having extra firewood available for purchase was also an added perk! Thank you to the hosts who were so accommodating, generous and kind. If I am back in the area, I will stay here again!

Shaded Creekside Campsite 3
So many cute options for staying at the Honeysuckle. Having the outdoor sink was exciting. The host called us on our way there and made sure we knew about the remoteness and having offline maps. It was a nice to have WiFi for planning our next day when our phones were in SOS. The bathroom and shower were clean and super nice to have when we woke up in the tent and saw the 37 degrees - it was an easy decision to change in there. Super friendly.

Roads are a bit tought getting to the sight and there was a neighbor screaming concerning things for about an hour. But the sight was very pretty and a short hike on top of hill get a great view of mountains.

Overall, this was a beautiful spot - the overlook of the rest of the property and the sunrise was so pretty. Unfortunately, it was not quite the experience that we expected - the bathroom and shower situation was quite stressful and did not work for the bulk of our trip. The toilets flush very slowly and were clogged the first night, concerning both our group and some other groups camping there at the same time. The shower also backed up at one point. Also, there is a decently long hike down the hill to get to a restroom of any kind, which is fine just a bit rough after a long day of hiking. I will say that the owners were extremely responsive and nice, and did everything to address our concerns as possible - Jenni was lovely.

We ended up camping on top of the hill, what a beautiful view. Very generous hosts with a hardworking family. They even have a beautiful trail with a lookout right on the property! Clean bathrooms and hot showers, along with dry firewood… there’s not much more one could ask for. Very convenient for the park and quiet location with amenities close by. I will be telling all my friends and dogs about this spot!

You cannot beat the view at Honeysuckle Spring! There is a beautiful mountain View, and if you take the hike up to the top of the property, there's an even better one hiding. I had the place to myself with it being in the middle of February other than one evening. I would imagine it gets a lot busier when it is not off-season. They're if they were fully booked, you wouldn't have a lot of privacy, but the site itself is still great. There are hot showers and toilets, which are a big bonus. The host family was great! You can tell that they put a lot of work into the property and that they take pride in the land. I hope to return someday, cuz I definitely did not get enough of Tennessee!

Our stay at Honeysuckle Springs was wonderful! There was snow on the ground the day of our reservation and the host kindly cleared our tent campsite and parking spot before our arrival. The heated bathhouse was enjoyed during the 20°F weather. We were the only guests (likely due to the cold weather), so our site was as private as could be. If there were other campers, privacy might be an issue. I would highly recommend Honeysuckle Springs and would revisit if given the opportunity.
