Hello! Please note we are RV's only because we do not have restrooms. ALL five sites have FULL hookups, strong WiFi, and tables. We are 27 miles south of Moab. Please read to the bottom of this description, we are open about what this place is like and we care about your experience. What kind of people LIKE the Adventure Haven? Those who like peace and quiet and dark skies. Relaxed full-time RVers, work-at-homes who need strong and fast WiFi, folks on a budget, those who like to support Hipcamp hosts, people looking for inside local information, solo travelers who want to feel safe yet not in a crowded place - like they’re near someone they know, and in a quiet, small town where unusual things are noticed. What kind of people DON’T like the Adventure Haven? People on high-pressure vacations who did not read the listing and expected a commercial RV resort. People who are uncomfortable with rural eye-sores (old cars, and slow projects). People who like street lights, sidewalks and curb appeal. Party people and special event groups (not allowed here). ****If you want a long stay and the calendar shows we are full, please contact us because we might be able to work it out! The Adventure Haven is a five site mini-RV park located in an old and sparsely occupied town with a population of about 300. A uranium boom town in the 1950's, La Sal is now a shadow of past times (and littered with artifact trailers and structures). But we are in beautiful high desert country and we are at the foothills of the La Sal Mountains and the park has a completely unobstructed view of this range! The Adventure Haven feels open, public and safe to most people. Funky and rural, in high pristine desert with a sweet view of the mountain is the overall vibe. The Needles district of Canyonlands is about 1 hour from Camp; Moab and Arches National Park are only 35 minutes away, and there are exciting features to explore right in our neighborhood. • Looking Glass Arch, Lopez Arch and Wilson Arch are all about 15 minutes away! • The world-famous motorcycle route, Colorado 90, begins just 12 miles away, with fine scenery all the way. • Hook and Ladder OHV Trail system is less that five miles. Rim Rocker Jeep trail is close as well.

SITE 2 Big RV 30 amp

98% (85)
Vehicle site · Sleeps 7 · Vehicles under 18 m
Note: All sites have full hook ups and strong WiFi. Site 2 can handle any size RV. This is a back in only site with parking for an extra vehicle and space for a dolly or trailer. It has unobstructed view of the mountain with fire ring nearby. The main road is just across the irrigation ditch that runs in front of this site (runs in the spring and fall), but traffic is infrequent. This is a roomy site, far beyond a normal RV park. This site is on the boundary with my neighbor who keeps a nice yard and his house is visible but obscured by a row of nice aspen trees. One of our best sites.

SITE 1 Medium to Large RV 30 amp

97% (79)
Vehicle site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 10 m
Note: All sites have full hook ups and strong WiFi. Site 1 is for a motor home up to 40 feet or bumper pull trailer up to 32 feet. It has unobstructed view of the mountain with nice cottonwood tree and fire ring nearby. The main road is just across the irrigation ditch that runs in front of this site, but traffic is infrequent. The ditch turns into a creek in the spring or during storms. This site is pull in only and requires backing to get out of. Your tow vehicle is able to drop the trailer and escape so you can use it during your stay. There is parking for one extra vehicle. To the south this site can see into our resource yard, but your RV door opens on the other side toward the mountain; This is a nice site.

SITE 3 Medium RV 30 amp

98% (74)
Vehicle site · Sleeps 5 · Vehicles under 10 m
Note: All sites have full hook ups and strong WiFi. Site 3 is a pull through for bumper pulls or motor homes up to 35 feet or so. Fifth wheel 32 foot max. It is close to the privacy fence and WiFi antenna. Of all the sites it feels the most private from houses. It is behind site 1 but staggered so that you can still see the mountain.

SITE 4 Big RV 50 amp

96% (56)
Vehicle site · Sleeps 7 · Vehicles under 18 m
Note: All sites have full hook ups and strong WiFi. Site 4 can handle a big rig. It can be pull through or back out depending on the size of your rig. It has 50 or 30 amp. It has a large extra parking spot for another vehicle, trailer or toy. It can have the most obscured view of the mountain when site 3 is occupied by a big rig, but there is lots of room for chairs, BBQ etc. The view to the south includes a funky old house trailer across the road that is undergoing a slow renovation, but your RV door opens on the other side and the view is toward the mountain!
