Summertide Resort

Perfect last minute get away! The camping spots are just a little up hill and across the street from the waterfront, close enough for easy access but also tucked away in nature. A fawn and doe walked right through the camping area one day and another deer the next. The water and views were beautiful and it was great that they allow campers to borrow the kayaks and paddle boards. Hosts/owners were super nice and friendly in a laid back way. Really nice bathrooms with showers included. The camp store has all the essentials and we joined other visitors around the campfire and shared freshly harvested oysters. Perfect balance of not too fancy but not too rustic. We will for sure be back and maybe will rent one of their vacation rentals with family.

Memorial Day weekend oyster camp

What an excellent weekend at the Summertide Resort. The 5 campsites are quaint and clean along a babbling brook for excellent sleeping. We were also pleasantly surprised to have convenient sinks for washing dishes, a propane grill for easy camp cooking and communal campfire so we didn't have camp smoke blowing into our campsites. But the real treat was the inclusive kayaking and paddleboarding and fresh coffee & oyster buckets for our morning clam & oyster collecting. We will be back soon! Thank you Morgan & Krista!

Creekside Camp #1 is perfect for a small family. Ashley was very helpful from the time we arrived until the day we left. We will definitely come back!

Camping at Summertide was a great experience. Christa and the staff were very friendly and laid back. The camp store was really well stocked with more types of things to buy than I expected, like art sets and board games. Very cute set up and nearby propane community fire pit. The camp sites are a mix of gravel and wood chips. Prepare yourself with a drop cloth and air mattresses for your tent to have the best experience.

Super Nice Views, and campsite!

I had an pleasant stay at Christ's upper camp sites. My two neighbors were not too close, but very nice....all a bit interested in my odd little pop up Sylvan SportGO. Ashley, the very nice caretaker (Shining?) showed me around the resort, gave me a personal key/fob for the men's room, (with shower btw), and sold me some seriously chilly ice. Nice folks, easy, clean, comfortable. Highly recommend.

The tent sites are tucked away next to a stream. It’s a quiet setting with plenty of space. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating. The little store and Resort have an old fashioned feel to it with a great laidback vibe!

The place itself is a beautiful, lovely spot on Hood Canal. Great little store, nice, clean rest room. I honestly wouldn’t recommend it for tent camping, though, as the sites are very, very small and close together. Absolutely no privacy, and they all overlooked a gravel boat trailer storage yard. If I had an RV, I would probably be pretty happy there, as that site is much nicer closer to the water and you have privacy in your rig. I wouldn’t come back.

Great spot to getaway. The tent camping sites were in the back of the resort which is great. Close to each other but still a nice setting for a quick getaway. The resort was very well maintained with a very well stocked general store. Having access to the marina and water was also wonderful! Sites are across the road from the marina and water but barely a walk to get to. I will definitely come back again. The host and staff were very friendly!

Camping and stand up paddling!

I loved tent camping at Summertide. I really appreciated the restroom facilities as they were clean. There's a general store at the marina that is well stocked and has a varied selection. I most appreciated the available kayaks and standup boards. I went paddling with a friend and we were able to launch from the marina and spend a few hours on the water. It was fantastic!! I hope to return next year!!

Creeks forests and hammocks oh my

Beautiful little space with all the above! We had a cute creek running next to our campground, lots of forest to explore, and of course it's right next to the puget sound. We forgot propane and Crista and Tommy gave us a spare tank. The store is adorable and it was a great space for swimming and paddleboarding. My daughter loved the net hammock too. Thanks for hosting, us we had a great time!

Quiet with a view a short walk away. I think the biggest plus were the restrooms. You usually don't get this quality of restrooms while camping! Dog friendly is a plus and free kayaks and paddleboards for use by guests! The staff are super nice and the market has a surprising variety of snacks and drinks. My friends and I were talking about returning and trying out one of the house rentals which are right on the water! There's a nice hike with incline to a lake a short 4 minute drive away. The only issue that may crop up is the close proximity of the camping sites. It was perfect for us who were 3 friends wanting to camp close together, but could be uncomfortable if you were next to someone you don't know or an opportunity to meet new friends!

Quaint Oceanside camping

What a quaint oceanside inn with Summertide Resort. Being right on the water, this is a perfect stay for a weekend of water activities. There are kayak and paddleboards available and seating on the dock after grabbing a snack from the store, which had everything! The campsites are tucked away and would be perfect for group camping if your families looking to get away together!

We had an amazing time camping at Summertime Resort! It was the perfect place to get away for a quick weekend and relax and play in the water. We stayed in campsite #4 and it was exactly what we were looking for. It was one of the sites further back and it was tucked up in the trees by a small creek. The trees definitely were a blessing on the very hot weekend we were there. The real draw is the marina and resort, the general store has an incredibly unique assortment of small batch, Indie brands while also having everything you might need. They have kayaks and stand up paddle boards available to use whenever you want, and the water is right there. We were basically swimming and fishing the entire weekend. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back to camp or try out one of the cabins!

We enjoyed van camping in the small quiet camp ground & loved soaking up time on the beautiful beach & boat dock area. Leah & Tom were friendly hosts & the little store had a good selection of things possibly needed or wanted.
