The campsite was beautiful! We stayed at the bob Ross Campsite and the views were spectacular and the land was really clean and very accessible. I would definitely camp here again!

This site was beautiful and directions were accurate with getting to it. This site would be ideal during the dryer months, the wind coming up from the lake during a storm led us to feeling unsafe. Lovely place to camp if you go during summer or are in for a real adventure!

Mid Mountain is the lowest of the campsites on the hill and has great views of Clear Lake. I enjoyed watching spring storms move through the area as part of my March visit.
The site is flat with a lovely deck, and a large fire pit. I will definitely be returning!
Each of the sites are laid out to allow privacy from each other, and I’m sure the site will continue to impress as the tree cover grows up around them.
The road to reach the sites is dirt and steep - but well packed and maintained. If you have a larger vehicle or trailer you’ll need to use the corners of the switchbacks to turn around. I’d plan to arrive before dark on your first visit.
Be prepared for a hike uphill if you are planning to use the port-a-potty provided. It was clean and well maintained, with a built in cardio plan to get there. :)

The site was exceptionally clean and level. The view of the lake and biking trails were amazing. My 22ft travel trailer fit perfectly in the site and left plenty of room for all guests and our bike.
There was plenty of room between sites. Our dog was able to explore our area and have a great time.

I love the new site named Bob Ross! I stayed there for one night and the weather was perfect for an amazing view. As with all other sites it is very private setting. Zack, the host is prompt with response and I really like that most sites are Instant Bookings. I have one more site left to tryout on his property but I know I will continue to go back.

This is my 4th trip to Zack’s Hip Camp.
The views are amazing! The sites I have camped in are very clean and spacious. I like having the locking gate at the entrance so there are no random drive byes.
The switch backs are easy to manage in my truck. The sites have good privacy. The total sites currently are 4, and I can’t wait to check them all out.
I highly recommend Zack’s camp.

I absolutely loved camping at Zack’s place. The camping spot was a perfect size, the deck was a great touch, and there’s loads of privacy. We even got to see the northern lights! Certainly will be back.

Great views and very private! This was my second time camping at Zack's Hipcamp and once again everything was fantastic. There is some traffic noise from the road in the afternoon, but it's easily outweighed by the stunning scenery and incredible stargazing opportunities. Don't worry, it's peaceful and very quiet at night anyway. This is definitely one of my top Hipcamps now!

I knew this spot would be cool, but it blew me away. You name it: comfortable area (large, flat and smooth), great views, awesome fire pit, cool deck, and lots of fun exploring the trails nearby. The lake is close if you need to cool off and there is a small market nearby for all the things you forgot. Zack was super helpful and accommodating. We’re coming back for sure!

Peaceful site with a great view. You might see mountain bikers climbing the road adjacent to the campsite. I brought tent pegs that slide between the boards on the platform which gave confidence for evening breezes. The road to the site is gated and locked.

Our first hip camp! The spot is super easy to find and get to but my Google maps had some special opinion about the exact location, lol. Zack was super responsive when we got lost and we arrived right on time for the sunset and an amazing view of the valley and the lakes. In the evening the hills look amazing with lights from houses, in the morning we were greeted with a fog below us and beautiful sunrise. Everything was very clean, all camping spots are labeled, the bathroom is close by and the road is not as steep and difficult at all. Thanks Zack, we had a great time and will be back for sure.

This camping trip was my third time at the this camp Hipcamp place. I love this place. My husband really enjoyed it as well. I learned that one more site is opening up as well. That would make 4 sites total. Still plenty of privacy and peace. The views are amazing! I have 2 sites I need to stay in on the property. I can’t wait to check them all out. I do highly recommend.

This place is amazing. The sites are stunning both in construction and the view of the lake. The bike jump trails are top shelf. Can't recommend this experience more. If your into vans n bikes this is the spot.

I do Overlanding and go to off grid places . This is my first time doing a private land from Hipcamp . I’m a very happy about it and Zack’s “The Lookout “ is pretty amazing . One reason I like about it is that neighbor campsite are really far away each other. You have the privacy of your family and friends . I would go back here again for a weekend get away for my family or visitor . My friends like this soo muck that they want to come back again .

Upper Mountain Lookout
We had such a great time camping on Zack's property! The directions were clear and the site was clean and well cared for upon arrival. The views from up here are unmatched, and the biking trails are so fun (or so my husband and his buddies say :)). The porta potty is a short walk from the campsite and it was clean and well stocked with toilet paper. We stayed up late watching the meteor shower and couldn't ask for a better place to celebrate my husband's birthday with our close friends!

We loved “the Grove”! We were visited by the deer everyday. The view, the wildlife, the quiet at night, pleasant breeze, close to town, the trees, we enjoyed all of it. If you have a trailer, go to the top campsite, turn around, come down and back it in… I didn’t and it was a little tight to get my truck out! We would stay again in a heartbeat!!
