Weekend Trip to ❤️ Glacier Park HipCamp 🏕️

I would definitely stay here again if I come to the area. The hosts are wonderful and friendly. There are numerous RV and camping sites throughout their property. There is even a little tube to stay in that looks like a hobbit house. A beautiful lake with paddle boards available for free and close to town but in the middle of a Serene Forest setting. I stayed at siteone which I don't recommend because it's the closest to the access road and gets very dusty. All of the other sites are far from the main road. Absolutely beautiful place to stay and firewood is available along with a vault toilet but no trash receptacles or hookups for power or water. At this price at this time of year comma rv parks would be much more and would not be nearly as beautiful or as close to Nature as I am at this moment!

Don was very kind and accommodating when our ETA kept changing due to trailer brake problems, traffic, road construction and slow travel due to heavy load behind truck. Was supposed to arrive around 7pm and ended up not getting there until 10:30pm and he was there to greet us at glamping tent. Tent was cozy and in beautiful setting. Bathrooms were clean and close proximity. Would definitely stay again!

SO GOOD! We arrived a bit late and were immediately greeted by attentive and kind owners. This spot is so cute— right next to a small stream that left us feeling like we had a “nature sound” machine while falling asleep. Secluded-feeling, but close to everything. Great access to facilities, and a fantastic location. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this place! Terri is an incredible host, welcomes you and brings you to your spot and just give you a nice spot to reset. I ended up having to change my plans a lot and she was so gracious with helping me figure out something to do instead and working with me since I needed to stay additional nights. The bathrooms and showers were heavenly... she leaves towels in there for you😁 the kitchenette area was wonderful to store some food and have some coffee on thr porch with those that were around that day!. Shot out to Trippin Glacier too!! Gave me some suggestions on what to do with my suddenly free day and it was a great little adventure. Loved the area, loved having a friendly host to talk to. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful spot. Be sure and bring Bug spray. The only negative we saw was the fire pit was to far from the water as its nice to hear the water at night while sitting by the fire. Would recommend. Great communication. They even had an opening and let us stay an extra night.

Secluded and peaceful. Great stop on our cross country road trip. Got a hilarious visit by their dog Louis, 10/10 would give belly rubs again.

Loved the experience and the animities that were offered. Terri was very friendly and helpful during the check in process. Definitely will be revisiting in the future.

This was the best hipcamp spot we have ever had. Everything was really green and the snowcapped mountains in the distance were stunning. It was really beautiful. Our campsite was very secluded and private with the West Boulder River running past it. We would definitely like to return there sometime.

This location wasn’t far off the beaten path and just minutes from a great hike up to Sweathouse Creek Falls. There isn’t a ton of privacy at this site as there are several tiny homes and glamping sites above it but the view looking into the valley is great and the bathroom nearby very handy.

This was a great hip camp site. One of my favorites so far. It has a little bit of everything. If you are tent camping you are tucked back in a little clearing in the woods and they have it all set up. The star/satellite gazing was amazing. The fire ring tent camping area we chose was tucked back in a little clearing in the woods. Very clean bathroom. Very quiet. And if you are a bird nerd this is the place to be!!! We saw so many and were serenaded by a grouse thumping all weekend.

There is a fishing access a mile down the road, or you can hike to the river which is approximately 1000 feet to the river. The river isn't a real deep river, a lot of people use it to float on tubes, but it has been known to have some nice fish also. The area always gets afternoon wind gusts that happen daily and don't last long but something you'll want to be aware of. On site we have available for rent 2 tiny houses and 4 Rv hook up spots. Our property also has a yurt, an additional tiny house, a skoolie and a motorhome. If you’re wanting to just get away to a beautiful spot, take a hike along the river, float the river or fish this is your place. It’s beautiful and quiet.

I am one mile from Hwy 93 so you can hear traffic noise sometimes. Planes do fly over once in awhile as well. This is a dry camp and rustic camping, sites are fairly far apart. This property is so beautiful and peaceful out here at night. Seasonal Spring fed pond, Ponderosa pine trees, fallen white birch, rustic and gorgeous. Some of my camp spots are on rough terrain. I always suggest you get out and walk around to see what you can manage with your vehicle. The idea of my place is more wilderness camping, there is wildlife that comes around. RV camp spots on the east and west end of the pond. Camp spot out by the wooden round pen on the west side. Completely private, borders 2000 acres of a bird sanctuary. Two blocks from Bitterroot river canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swim, trails, hiking, scenery, wildlife. My pond is spring fed, which means that is goes up and down with the seasons and run off from the snow in the mountains and collects cotton from the trees when they shed. So as the summer goes on the pond levels go way down, please be aware of that.

Come enjoy peace and quiet in the beautiful meadows near our home. We are located on 40 acres that include forested trails, a large pond, two small ponds, a creek, and frequent wildlife as well as spectacular stargazing at night. All sites have a campfire ring and picnic table. We provide a unique eco-camping experience in contrast to the crowded campground/RV park, and we are only 6 miles away from the entrance to Glacier National Park! Please let us know if you have multiple tents or vehicles as some sites may be a better choice for you than others. No hookups are provided – dry camping only. Parking for larger vehicles/trailers is available at sites 1-6 - an open, flat meadow with the pond on the other side of the road. Tents are welcome in all sites; although, we recommend the back meadow sites (7 and up) for more secluded tent campers (especially in July) as it has less traffic and more privacy. Sites 7-20 (the back meadow sites) have parking for vehicles 26' or less in total length. All sites have access to vault toilets, and all sites are back-in sites with partial shade. Because of the proximity to Glacier National Park and the main HWY, traffic noise and train noise can be heard at the campsites. Visitors are ask to keep their speed to a minimum to reduce dust on the dirt on Greens Road. We are just a short bike ride away (two minutes by car) from attractions such as the Whiskey Barn, The Paul Bunyan Bar & grill, Glacier Hi-Line Ropes Course, and the Amazing Fun Center, maze, and mini golf. It is also easy access to the Gateway to Glacier Bike path. E-bike rentals are across the street from us. Closest Gas station is the Cenex in Coram (1.5 mi away). Closest public (free) landfill dump is 2.2 miles toward Columbia Falls at 9626 Us HWY 2 E. Near Paul Bunyan Bar and Grill (which is also a good restaurant near us). Look for the gated entry and small sign marking Flathead Landfill. Closest grocery is in Hungry Horse at Canyon Foods Grocery (3.5 miles away). There is a laundromat next to this grocery store. Closest dump and water fill up for a vehicle with a holding tank is Mikes Conoco at 1645 9th st W in Columbia Falls (8.9 mi away). Closest town with wifi, cafes, restaurants, urgent care and larger grocery stores is Columbia Falls (9 miles away). We sell solar shower bags, sun screen, card games, cream soda, frisbees, bug spray, coffee, firewood, and more at Sam and Molly's mercantile by our house in the middle of our property. There are mountain bike paths, river access points for paddling, rafting or fishing within minutes of our land. We can even help you know where to go. Our land is surrounded by Nature Conservancy land with a public recreation easement, so you can hike and take your horse for a ride very easily, just let us know and we will point you in the right direction. Our child had a significant medical emergency that required a lot of travel to Seattle Children's and 3 brain surgeries all year, so we don't have the active garden going this year, but the chickens and sheep are happy. In a vehicle, you can pull into one of our pastures for your stay. Where you are depends on which field the sheep are eating! Tents also work in the field. We do not have any hookups. The fields are that - pasture fields. There are quiet neighbors across the fence. We are happy to offer advice about local attractions via messaging. This is pack it in, pack it out During the pandemic we ask that you wear a face covering if you have a reason to talk with us, even across the fence out of an abundance of caution since most of you are traveling from out of state. Miner Creek Campground

Nestled on 60 acres you'll find a private campground in a cottonwood grove just across a log bridge over Miner creek. Across the gravel driveway you'll find a second campground that is tucked back in a secluded cottonwood grove, and further down the driveway, you'll find the 3rd site. The campgrounds are 5 minutes to the charming historic downtown of Livingston and the Yellowstone River, 20 minutes to Bozeman and an hour to Yellowstone National Park. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are friendly to other dogs. Our dogs freely roam the property. Miner Creek Campground 1 has a picnic table, fire ring, a hammock, solar lighting, a small portable charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal) and a shared outhouse. Although you can car camp at the Campground 1, please note that the camper spot is just off the driveway, and not across the creek where the tent site, picnic table and fire pit are located. Campsite 2, The "Off the Beaten Path" campsite requires a short 1-2 minute hike through the trees from the parking area. It has a fire ring, two camp chairs, and solar lighting. Do NOT rent this tent site unless you are ready to explore and do not need to be close by your car. The creek access is not at the campsite, it is down another trail off the parking area. Campsite 3, The "Not for the Faint of Heart" campsite, is just that! It's a 1-2 minute hike from the parking spot on an uneven trail through the trees. It has a fire ring (bring your own firewood), two camp chairs, solar lighting, and a small portable grill (bring your own charcoal). Do NOT rent this tent site unless you are ready, to explore and do not need to be close by your car. Make sure you arrive before dark because although the trail is lit by solar lights even with headlamps it can be tricky to find your way through the trees. The trail is tight and uneven and closed-toed shoes are highly recommended. The creek is not right by the tent site like it is in the "Creekside Oasis" campsite. There is a small break in the bushes that gives creek access. For all sites we recommend storing your food in your vehicle overnight. All sites share a portalet that is located in a common parking area by the trail to camp #2.
