Fran has a wonderful gorgeous spot, Stella her lab is a wonderful hostess also. I am a female solo camper and Fran was so nice to block off the other camp site so I’d feel alone and secure and have some time to myself. I spent a few days on her dock watching dolphins and fish jump. So much beautiful nature in abundance. The stars on the lake are magical and I found more mushrooms than I had seen in so long. Very beautiful place I would definitely recommend and plan to totally come back.

My husband and I enjoyed tent camping on Tony and Belinda's land. The experience was memorable. Driving directions were clear and easy to follow. Tony and Belinda were great hosts. We would strongly recommend the camping site to others.

Great, secluded spot. Good clean outhouse. It is primitive, so no running water, which is definitely not a problem ifyou come prepared. The road to the sites is fine, but you will be better suited in an SUV than a sedan/coup. We went while it was raining, and I don't think I would have made it in my Honda. Luckily, we didn't have it!!! Anyway, beautiful spot. The birds are awesome in the morning. Good communication from the host.

My campsite was a beautiful pocket tucked between mossy live oaks, magnolia and pines. St. Helena is a wonderful piece of unique American culture and topography. Highly recommend!

We had the place to ourselves so it was very quiet with an amazing view of the salt marsh. We’re expecting the bathroom to be so amazing…spotless with shower, hot water, flush toilet, sink…. What a nice surprise! The whole place is well taken care of. Although an hour from the credit one stadium, we will definitely be coming back here for the next concert!

We had an absolute blast, and Dustin pays attention to every detail. The Stone fire pit was fantastic, the screened in gazebo with TV and couch was also quite comfortable, especially in the rain. The bathroom was spotless and the outdoor shower was rustic and fun.

Our site was very nice gravel, level and easy to access. We had electric, water and Wi-Fi (didn’t use). I was camping after all !!!! Liz responded quickly to any questions and offered some helpful local information. She has acres and told us we could walk our dog anywhere. She is in a great location. It was a short easy drive to Beaufort as well as the various sea islands. The area is beautiful with tons of history. We are already talking about our return trip. Thank you so much, Liz!

It was an absolutely excellent experience and a wonderful weekend getaway. You’re about 2 miles from downtown and walk around tourism and 12 to 14 miles from toes in the sand on the beach. Best all around, quiet, isolated, and convenient. One house and a heavy tree line separate you from 98% of any possible road noise. There is 50 and 30 amp plus 110 hook ups on the pole along with water, sewer, and Wi-Fi on the site. The tree cover was very good without completely blocking any sunshine. We experienced 92° and our single air conditioner had no problems keeping up with a 30 foot camper.

What a beautiful spot. So quiet, peaceful, private. The facilities truly are luxurious, the bathroom and shower areas are spotless. Dustin is an amazing host, replied quickly when I had a couple of questions. We would have stayed longer but the weather was just too hot for camping in our rooftop tent. We did enjoy the screened gazebo with a ceiling fan in the evening, perfect for a hot summer night!

Go on a scavenger hunt and find old bottles. Relax around the fire pit and listen to owls, wild geese, bull frogs and the Quack Pack. Lounge on the spacious deck overlooking all the farm animals or take a dip in the swimming pool. At night grill on the BBQ or have an oyster roast. We do have an indoor toilet for you to use and an outdoor shower. Go for a walk through the woods, do yoga, head to Hunting Island beach which is 10 miles or drive 3 miles to historic downtown Beaufort. We are also close to Parris Island and many other historical sites. While here you can enjoy historical tours of Beaufort County’s earliest years of the Santa Helena colony in the mid 1600’s, the revolutionary war period, the pre-civil war and plantation time period and the antebellum, reconstruction history up to the Civil Rights visits of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Historic Penn Center. The Lowcountry is great for water sports, kayaking, boating, jet skiing, sailing, hiking and canoeing. Each season offers an opportunity to participate in fishing, crabbing, shrimping or digging for oysters in local waters. Our area is a favorite of cyclist groups, the long, flat, rural, scenic, roads offer pleasant riding experiences for cyclist of all ability levels. There are bike lanes on many of the major roads. Other recreational activities in our area are geocaching, horseback riding, tennis, golf, hiking, beach volleyball, beachcombing, and birdwatching. There are a few special events throughout the year, Gullah Festival-May, Water Festival-July, Shrimp Festival-October, Beaufort Food Truck Festival-October, Soft Shell Crab Festival-April, Pat Conroy Festival-November, Heritage Days Festival-November, Night on the Town-December.
