7 nights at Burger Barn Camp Out

Sold everything we owned bought a Class A 38’ RV. Drove it once and we were hooked. Been at Burger Barn spot one 9 days ( GREAT) staff, food, peoples, and black dog. Time to move ion soon can’t live here 4ever HaHa. Highly recommended Burger Barn, but time to leave the nest to our second spot ever; I bet within a 9 mile radius of here only (baby steps). Nice place, close to the road but not noisy at the night. Very clean toilets and showers. Very convenient to stay in order to visit close by attractions

Great campground with a lot of space between sites. The road in and out is a little iffy but manageable.

We loved spending time at this campground. It's conveniently located for the entrances to Zion Park. The view is sublime. Check-in / check-out are super convenient. The campsites are large and the area is quiet. The trail was easily passable with our SUV (late May/early June, no rain). Toilets are available. There are lots of little black insects that don't bite, perhaps a citronella spray would be effective. If it's windy, I'd recommend a trekking tent, as there are big gusts of wind and a lot of sand flying around, but these are climatic hazards. I warmly recommend this campground. Coralie

I loved tent camping on Bill’s land! The directions provided were clear and were able to find a stunning campsite. The port a potties were the cleanest I have ever seen! Already screaming from the roofs for friends and family to visit.

Weekend Trip to Kolob Campground

Great quiet campground with a lot of solitude. Managers were great. They come around each morning to see if all is well. They will also rent propane fire pits (Burn Ban) if you need one. I noticed a brush hog parked in the weeds, not sure if it runs or not. It would be AWESOME if they could cut trails through the thick stuff down to the lakes edge. This was my first dispersed campground and it was so fun to drive around and pick out the perfect spot! The views were absolutely incredible as well. I did a horseback ride with Bill as well and that was so much fun! The road to get in was not that bad, as long as you take it slow and go during the sunlight!

Absolutely epic experience! The only complaint was the bugs were relentless and no amount of bug spray seemed to help so make sure to be prepared for that with netting of some kind. Otherwise, incredible views, soulfully peaceful and stars were magnificent at night. We loved this spot so so much!

The day we arrived didn’t expected the road was rough to get to our site ( it’s a dirt road). So if you drive a small car you might have a problem but luckily my 2 door Honda Civic made it through. John’s Land was amazing place to stayed for a few days. We had good relaxed atmosphere experience. Site 9 was big enough to bring your family or big groups. You can do boating, fishing, kayak but mostly I had fun cooking enjoyed making different meals :). And it’s a dog friendly my dog loves the place he had a great experience walked the whole site and well behaved. Make sure bring heavy clothes it gets really cold at night, windy and gets rain too. But the sky was beautiful amazing watched billions stars while having a popcorn :). Will definitely be back in the future to get away the heat from Vegas. One of the best, if not the best, places we’ve camped. Great overlook of Zion, totally private. Road once you’re on the site has a few ruts, but it was not a problem in a truck. Would recommend to anyone!

This is a very natural place with awesome rock formations, abundant wildlife etc. I did find an ancient axe head years ago in one of the crevices. Up above camp is a rock formation I have always called "Mike Rushmore". Learn more about this land: This is a really cool place and I get a lot of compliments from those that have been here or have seen it. It's a hikers paradise with lots of rock features, sandy areas, tons of trees, wildlife and all the beautiful plant life of a high desert. The lake is close by for Fishing, kayaking, boating, or just a good ole swim about 10 minutes away. So, here is what you get on my 15 acres. Me, as your host to show you around and let you pick from several spots available where you would like to camp on the upper 5 acres for RV, truck, tent,, etc. I can accomidate whatever. For those that want the natural experience I suggest down below. So cool. There is no one right next to me to the north, south, east, or west. Very private. It is off grid.. Road in is dirt with minor grade up to property. Notes: ——— * Wildlife - In late summer, cattle graze nearby. In spring, you may see sheep and baby lambs on the way to the south beach access. There are rattle snakes, bunnies, and we’ve seen a scorpion or two. *Weather - Summer days can be quite hot with cooler nights. There is no shade on the property. Wind gusts carrying dust can occur. It’s a good idea to check weather app for conditions. *Landscape/Views - Utah natural landscape changes markedly with the seasons. Some photos may reflect green grasses, when these dry out mid summer, they can produce fine stickers to be aware of with long hair pets, kids, and ankles in general. Views can change depending on developing neighboring properties. Sunsets either at the lake or the property are unobstructed and often dramatic. Night sky viewing is also pretty awesome as there is very little light pollution.

Rasmussen Ridge

A ten minute walk to Mantua Reservoir for ice fishing in the winter, kayaking, boating, water skiing, fishing in Spring, Summer, & Fall. Pickleball courts are a 10 minute walk away. Mountain biking, four wheeling, side-by-side adventure right outside your RV door to Willard Peak and the beautiful Northern Wasatchback. Use of my huge lawn (next to the field where you park) for lawn games (provided for a small fee), and my in-ground fire pit are available for your enjoyment - must be reserved. Friendly dogs are very welcome - my white Lab is always looking for new friends! 3 miles down Box Elder Canyon to two large grocery stores, Walmart, gas stations, restaurants, and gyms. One hour to skiing at Snow Basin (home of 2002 Olympic downhill), Powder Mountain to the south and Beaver Mountain to the north. World's largest game bird refuge and museum 10 minutes west down the canyon. Utah State University 30 minutes to the north and Weber State University 30 minutes to the south. Box Elder Creek is a 5 minute walk into Box Elder Campground, the poppy hill (2 weeks in June), and wonderful hiking opportunities. The valley was settled by Danish immigrants in 1862, and the property you will be on is owned by a descendent of the original settlers. See more info about Mantua in the link below.

Retro Star Ranch

Retro Star Ranch is big and secluded. Aside from a few trailers that dot the hills in the distance you are pretty much on your own. We have 25 acres of land at the end of a private road in a secret hidden valley not far from SLC, Ogden and Eden Utah. This land is pristine and connected to over 5000 acres of undeveloped open space. The property is part of a recreational property subdivision. You might see some fellow campers on quads, occasionally you might hear gunfire, but you're more likely to see deer, fox, grouse, birds of prey, moose and possibly elk. Not far from Causey Reservoir and the South Fork of the Ogden River both of which have great water for floating and fishing. You could easily get here in a sedan when dry but not recommended for sports or low clearance vehicles. If you have 4x4 that is better, especially if you want to venture to our last campsite or pull a trailer here. We've pulled a 30' foot trailer but the road is skinny in places and the turns are tight, bumpy from cobbles and ruts and often have puddles. There is about 2 miles of that climbs over a ridge. If you're adventurous and a confident driver on dirt roads you will have no problem. If it's you're first time pulling a trailer or if you have a low clearance then this might not be the spot for you. However, if you're looking for something peaceful and secluded that is not that far from town, this is it. We can also accommodate larger groups or multiple vehicles if desired. Please contact us with any special requests or questions. The Knoll site is better for trailers and larger groups. It has a loop through driveway and can accommodate a few trailers. Please be aware that this is wilderness camping and there are wild animals throughout the woods. It is best to stay on trail or at the site and be alert for snakes, big cats, moose and deer.

Burger Barn Camp Out

This camp site, full hook up RV or tent is located a 1/2 mile from beautiful Panguitch Lake. It is located 17 miles from Cedar Breaks National Monument and 49 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park. Available mid-May through late September. It is located in the back section of our property at The Burger Barn, a walk up burger and bbq joint that is which is open daily from 11am-9pm. Plenty of wildlife in the area, deer, chipmunks, hummingbirds, bald eagles, foxes, elk and antelope. Panguitch Lake is the perfect place to see the night sky. On clear nights the milky way is visible. Next door is the Panguitch Lake general store which offers some groceries, fishing licenses, bait and tackle, gasoline, and a small laundromat. In addition to the general store there is a rental shop where you can rent ATVs for your next adventure. You can purchase ice on site and 1 bundle of free wood is included with your booking. There is a sink and port-a-potty on the property. No showers available. We have animals on our property. 1 black lab, and some barn cats that keep the rodents away.
