Welcome to Eagle's Rest Ranch! This property is a 45-acre off grid homestead sitting at 4200 ft in the mountains of western Siskiyou county. The ranch is surrounded by national forest and backed up to the Trinity Wilderness area. Also, the Russian and Marble Mountain Wilderness areas are just a short drive to access. Just 15 minutes from the the small historic gold mining town of Callahan. Enjoy the Callahan Emporium and Bar where you can enjoy a delicious deli sandwich and a cold beer or stock up on camp supplies... We offer a range of camping options from open site tent or hammock camping and car camping to small RV and fifth wheel slips! This area is very rural and has many outdoor activities to enjoy! Here are just a few! Rock climbing: This is our premier attraction here at Eagle's Rest Ranch, The ranch is set just below a large limestone cragg that has over 60 sport climbing routes ranging from 5.6 for beginners up to 5.14 routes for the experienced climber. High mountain lakes: Take a short drive and you'll have access to multiple high mountain lakes that provide cool places to escape the summer heat, fish, swim, or take the canoes to on a hot summer day. Trinity Lake and Lake Siskiyou: Only a 45 minute drive from your campsite are the beautiful Trinity and Siskiyou Lakes! Bring your ski or fishing boats! Swimming: The Scott, Salmon and Trinity Rivers are all within an hour's drive and provide many beautiful and remote swimming holes. Hiking: The Pacific Crest Trail crosses Scott Mountain summit just 9 miles from the property and provides great access to countless trails, high mountain lakes and wilderness trailheads. Mountain Biking: Endless Forest Service roads make great bike riding trails for the whole family. Ask your host for more advanced trail options. Horseback Riding: The many nearby trailheads provide endless day or overnight horseback riding options. We are currently in the process of getting our horse boarding area ready for you! We will be horse ready soon! We take pride in our homestead and believe wholeheartedly in stewardship of the land! Come share the serene surroundings and bounty of the outdoors at Eagle's Rest Ranch! Parking is only 50 feet from your tent site at Slipnslide camp. Mixed sun and shade in tall pine trees. This site is overlooking the upper pasture and has beautiful views of Mount Bolivar. Only 150 feet away from the community kitchen and shower building.

Beautiful views of the Blackrocks and Mount Bolivar from an open sunny pasture. One of the more spacious sites on the ranch, the Upper Field is flat and ready for your RV or fifth wheel. Bring your shade structures, as this site has almost all day sun. This site includes a potable water hookup only. No septic provided. No garbage removal, all sites are pack in, pack out.
