Amazing tent and RV sites at Kosk! Scott is awesome and there’s so much space and incredible spots. The hot springs are incredible and the river is amazing. I’m so grateful to Scott for being so hospitable and checking on us daily to make sure all was great. We’ll be camping there again!

The hot springs were nice and it was very affordable, the camping is first come first serve so if you get there late and there are people camping, it’s pretty hard to find a spot that is not overrun with mosquitos. We found a spot that was supposed to be better for the mosquitos, but it was still mosquito city. Highly recommend bringing bug spray or an outdoor net you can hangout in. The river was running pretty hard so it was also a bit hard to find a good river spot that wasn’t crowded (at least for late May). Overall was an okay experience because of the affordable hot springs and camping.

We really loved staying here. Host was super helpful and recommended a beautiful bike ride up to a reservoir, the Hot Springs were gorgeous and there weren’t too many people.

WOW. This place is so serene and peaceful. We met the owner Scott who is a gracious host who wants others to enjoy his beautiful property. The camping area is on Kosk Creek (more like a small river) which is amazing, but is even more amazing because of the hot springs along the creek. We would highly recommend this place and will be telling friends about it. We would go back here in a minute

We stopped here from a Southern Oregon road trip, nice grassy spacious sites, creekside or shade, , locked gate for security, good vibe and well worth the drive, oh did I say it has hot springs and trails, we’ll make this spot our destination next time, Thank you for the excellent directions,, maintenance and hospitality

We had a great experience camping here. Scott, the owner, stopped by shortly on arrival to check in us and make recommendations. We had a great spot, with bathrooms close by. The hot springs were so relaxing and rejuvenating after a day of hiking. I definitely would come here again!

This campsite is hands down one of the best Hipcamps we’ve stayed at. We drove our mid size suv and had no issues getting there. The site felt peaceful and secluded, right next to a beautiful stream—perfect for relaxation.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay even better. The campground offers great sites along the river, and the three sets of hot springs were a highlight. While there are occasional visitors sneaking in for the hot springs, it’s still a magical spot if you can catch a quiet moment.
A few tips: only some sites have picnic tables, so bringing your own chairs or foldable table is helpful. The road to the campground is a bit rough towards the end, so a vehicle with decent clearance is recommended. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience, and we’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely incredible spot—hands down the best Hipcamp we’ve ever stayed at. We brought our 28-foot Airstream and were a little nervous about the access, but it was no problem at all (we do have a 3-inch lift, which helped). The campsite felt like we were truly in the middle of nowhere—quiet, peaceful, and right next to a beautiful stream. Just stunning.
One heads-up for fellow campers: even though it’s private property, a number of people sneak in to access the hot springs, so don’t expect total seclusion. That said, if you can catch a quiet moment, it’s absolutely magical.
Can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back.

This was a beautiful camp ground! The hot springs were beautiful but people go there nude just fyi. Me and my boyfriend waited til they left to go in. There’s no cell phone service for T-Mobile almost for a half hour til the campsite. Bring extra bug spray as mosquitoes were in full throttle lol loved it overall. We were the only campers but several people came and left to the hot springs.

The campground was very peaceful with many great sites right along the river.
There are three sets of hot springs which were wonderful to soak in. The river and scenery was beautiful.
Only a few sites have picnic tables so bringing chairs / foldable table could be helpful.
The campground is a bit of a drive from attractions like Burney Falls but we loved that it wasn’t crowded.
Would definitely recommend coming up Big Bend Road from the South (as the host recommends). The first 80% of the road coming from that direction is fine with the last 20% being paved but having some big potholes. When leaving we continued Northbound on Big Bend Road which connects to McCloud, however this stretch of the road is not paved and would at the minimum need an SUV with decent clearance due to large loose gravel

Right next to the water with about a 5 minute walk to the hot springs. Super chill and relaxing spot. Listening to the creek was really nice at night. The only sketchy part was the size of the potholes on the way there. My tiny car made it but wouldn’t want to make the trip with any type of rain in the forecast.
10 out of 10 would stay again.

Camp spots were on someone’s home property and they had a locked gate. I was never able to get inside to my campsite I had to find new campsite. Tried calling multiple times and no one answered

Host did not inform us that an endless stream of people coming to visit the hot springs enter on foot and actual true access to the tubs is first come first serve with folks who aren't camping there. People come and go on foot all hours of the day and night, some with not nice dogs.
Not advised for female solo travelers, unless you have the not so nice dog.
The road leading to it is extremely bad and if you have a nice car, beware.
Camping area is beautiful and the Porta potty immaculate.
This land originally belongs to the Pit River Indians, is sacred and I worry it will be over run and ruined by too much human consumption now that this place is on the web. A magical place otherwise.

This is a beautiful property and a perfect place to camp while enjoying the hot springs. The best hot spring tubs are a short but moderately challenging bouldering adventure. I agree with the recommendation that arriving during daylight is best. There are many beautiful hidden away places throughout the meadow to set up camp that are not visible in the dark. Take your time to look around and find a perfect spot before setting up.

We enjoyed our stay! However we felt the listing was a bit misleading, only a small portion of the land is designated for camping and there’s only really one camping spot that’s up close to the water. There’s absolutely no camping near the swimming holes (except maybe one) and no camping near the hot springs, which is frustrating as this wasn’t made clear until we pulled up to camp and there were signs specifying we couldn’t camp past a certain point. Overall it’s a beautiful area and we had a nice weekend, but was really disappointed when we showed up and it only became clear onsite that we wouldn’t be camping near the hot springs after we had paid the $50 a night. In the future we will probably find a campground or dispersed camp spot and just walk to the hot springs on-site that are still public access.
