Mineral Spring Date Farm

We had a great experience at the date farm stay. Check-in was super smooth—when the host called, he just told us where to go, but what really stood out was that he was actually there in person at 5:00 a.m. to guide us to the dome. That was especially helpful since the site is big and not super obvious to navigate in the dark. The geodesic dome we stayed in was cozy and surprisingly well-equipped. Outside the dome, everything we needed was thoughtfully provided—there was even a working tea kettle and some really good tea (Jake’s Delicious Tea) that hit just right while we watched the sunrise rise above the palm dates and snowcapped mountains, with Salton Sea shimmering off in the distance. They had fresh dates available in the kitchen, and they were as good as you'd expect from a working date farm. We also walked over to Azer down the street for breakfast, and honestly, it was probably the best breakfast we had in Desert Palm Springs. The location was perfect—secluded enough to feel peaceful but still close enough to Palm Springs to walk into town, grab some ice cream, or do... you know, that thing you like to do in Palm Springs. 😉

Camping among yummy dates.

Wonderful time. Hidden tents among the date Groves was so private and relaxing. The individual mineral spring jacuzzi at each camping location was a nice touch as well as the mineral spring swimming pool. The dates very yummy. At first we where worried about the heat but the tents are set up nicely with air-conditioned. Overall, a great place.

Date Tree Haven with Mineral Spring

What a wonderful place for glamping. My family had a good time. We where at first afraid it would be to hot to stay since it is out in the dessert but Ron had each tent set up with air-conditioned and the placement of the tents where shady and private. We loved that each spot had its own little mineral water jacuzzi like tub to use. There is also a large mineral pool to enjoy. The property is fun to explore and we felt very safe on it. Ron is also very personal and great host. He left us some amazing dates that they harvest right there on the farm as a treat and remembrance of our trip. We will make sure to come back.

Wonderful experience

My wife and I stayed at Ron's date farm for the weekend. It was a very good location for our combined Palm Springs and Joshua Tree trip. Ron and Myung are such generous hosts! Ron checked on us to make sure everything was going well, and he was incrediblyb responsive when I texted him regarding our add-ons. Myung is so incredibly sweet and she makes killer ramyun! Loved the sundae and the pig trotters she added into the soup. The dates are a must-try as well. Staying at the yurt site was also wonderful. We loved soaking in the natural mineral spring in the evening, and watching the stars. Fire pit was also lovely. There was also good distance between the other camp sites. It was really like a dream, watching cottontail rabbits hop around the dates, and falling asleep to the sound of the running mineral spring and the soft rustling of the palm trees. Would stay again if given the chance!

Hot Springs Date Farm

Ron and Myung were lovely hosts. The site is so well maintained and peaceful. We really enjoyed seeing the goats and beautiful palms. The mineral tub was so refreshing. I highly recommend getting dates and kimchi ramen- Myung is a wonderful chef. We will definitely be back.

Super cozy under the stars!

Date Tree Haven with Mineral Spring

This was my second time staying here and it was even better than the first! I came back because this place left a big impression on me the first time, and Ron & Myung are always improving the grounds and ways to make everything more comfortable for guests, they are amazing! Highly recommend this literal desert oasis if you’re looking for a cozy glamping getaway. And the private mineral spring and hot tub makes it a real treat for yourself or other guests :)

Perfect Private Oasis

Ron was a great host who helped guide us to our yurt and assisted us with anything we needed help with. Our plot was amazing! We loved the two mineral water pools, one cooler one where you can control the heat (it can get very hot!). We utilized the included grill and had a wonderful time dining under the palm leaves. The trees really made it feel like we were in a private oasis! The yurt was very sturdy that didn’t budge even with the super high winds we experienced (25-40mph). Inside included a comfy bed, heater, AC, lamp, and power strip. The bathrooms were extremely clean and it was nice that there was a kitchen available. Make sure to try the dates they are delicious 😋 Pro tip: heat them over the fire or grill for a caramel-like texture and taste.

We truly enjoyed our stay on the date farm. Ron and Myung were wonderful hosts. Our tent was very clean and comfortable. It even had air conditioning, electricity, and a lamp. The site featured a private mineral pool, firepit, patio furniture, and a hammock. The shared bathroom was exceptionally clean, and the communal kitchen was equipped with a fridge, Keurig, and supplies available for campers to use. A unique and peaceful experience!

A Wonderful Unique Stay

Hot Springs Date Farm

Ronald was an excellent host, his property is as beautiful as advertised and he was extremely accommodating towards us, both before and after we arrived. Staying here was a unique opportunity that I would recommend to anyone. The spring fed hot tub and soaking pool were an absolute luxury to have at our disposal. It's clear a lot of thought and time has gone into making each of their sites a comfortable experience that you could spend every minute of your trip in and feel satisfied with where your time went afterwards.

Mineral Spring Date Farm Oasis

One of the best glamping experiences I’ve ever had. The entire setup was a 10/10—from the moment I arrived, everything felt thoughtful, seamless, and peaceful. The space offered total privacy, and I felt completely safe throughout my stay. I originally booked just one night, but ended up extending my trip because the first night was that good. The water is pristine, the tents are incredibly comfortable, and the setting is perfect for recharging. Ron is a fantastic host, and his wife made me the best ramen I’ve ever had—and I’ve spent quite a bit of time in Japan, so that’s saying something. I’m so grateful for the experience and only wish them continued success as they grow this beautiful offering. Thank you again—hope to be back soon.

Great experience. Tent and bed were clean and comfortable, mineral pool was absolutely lovely. Amazing to have my own private oasis on the camp ground (totally private). Bathrooms are communal, but I didn’t run into anyone there. The night I stayed was really windy, so I didn’t sleep as well as I might have (the tent moved a lot but was well grounded!), but that’s just the nature of camping. Ron was really friendly and super responsive. Highly recommend.

Camper/RV Site

Was an amazing experience for the whole family. The kids loved the hot tubs and seeing the goats was so magical at night walking around plenty of space. Being able to wash our camp dishes in a sink was a special treat. The house are kind and welcoming. This is a space we enjoyed connecting with fellow travelers as well as quality time with family and the date palms which sheltered us from the wind and provided shade and ambiance creating the perfect camping home. We loved that Sam’s which is a family friendly day pool spot was walkable/bikeable, we had a great day there. Im excited to come back and see what Ronald continues to create with the space. The dates are delicious too, be sure to get a pack!

The kids and I had a great time. The Ramen and the dates were absolutely delicious! The yurt was very spacious and had air conditioning-the mineral spring tub was refreshing after a long day. Little bunnies hopping everywhere….adorable. Very dreamlike setting- thank you Ron, please tell your wife “we miss your ramen!” Will be back!!

We loved staying on Ronald’s land! Very cool and educational experience. Ronald took time to show and explain to us how dates reproduce. Their Dates are absolutely delicious, as was the home made ramen (absolutely exceptional!). The camping and property was nice. The spring near our campsite (on-site bell tent) was amazing and refreshing after several days on the road. We will definitely head back for the dates, ramen, spring soaking and Great hospitality. If you consider yourself to be someone who likes a good soak, this is a great spot.

We had the best time at our sight. Met a lot of great people while we were there and Ronald and his wife were fun to talk to. Ronald gave us a lesson on growing dates which was very interesting. Everything one would need to camp out was there so it made it so much easier on us (non campers). Lol

Super enjoyable and unique camping experience. Lots of distance between sites and the palm trees made it feel very secluded. Tubs were great and easy to use. Ramen was a treat as well. Great hosts!

Wowowow!!

Can not recommend this place enough. Ron was so nice, everything worked great, and the dates were awesome. I will be back multiple times! I told all my friends about it Only recommendation I have, the hot springs water comes out of the heater at around 110 degrees (not hot not cold). If you want hot hot water, bring a pot to boil water over the fire to pour into the tub.
