Formerly used as a horse property, we bought this property in 2016 and have renovated the barn and paddocks for llamas and alpacas. We have been collecting RV trailers for the last 10 years with the dream of having this kind of opportunity, and now it is becoming a reality! Now we have 16 animals that make for a fun getaway destination for campers. Stay with us in a "Glamping Trailer" or a "Comfy Sunroom" for the night while enjoying the One Thing Ranch experience with llamas and alpacas. Visit with our animals and take a ranch tour, or just get away from it all while you enjoy the beauty of the local area of Trinity County. Explore the nearby Shasta Trinity National Forest while staying in our ranch, or make us your launching pad for a backpacking trip to the Trinity Alps Wilderness...your first (or last?) "connection with civilization" and a hot shower and comfy bed for the night.

Stay in a 25 foot Airstream trailer in an area looking right onto one of our alpaca paddocks. Guests will have access to our guest bathroom 24/7 for hot showers and a real toilet! There is a communal "deck" area where guests can have access to a Weber BBQ, a gas cook stove, tables and chairs, and more great views of the alpacas and llamas.

You won't be roughing it in our sunroom addition. It is almost all windows for alpaca-gazing! It opens onto the communal deck with tables and chairs, Webber BBQ. and a gas stovetop....not to mention the view of the alpaca paddocks! A communal bathroom with a real toilet and hot showers is just a few steps away. Inside is a studio apartment-like room with a full bed and twin day bed. The couch converts to a queen bed as needed. Mini kitchen has a dining table and chairs, a Kuerig coffee maker and mini fridge.

A perfect camp site

Airstream Glamping @One Thing Ranch
We booked this campsite and stayed in the Airstream with our group of four. Upon arriving, we noticed a charming self-service stand selling walnuts, eggs, firewood, and other local goodies. Eager to cook breakfast, we bought a dozen fresh eggs from the locally raised chickens for just $3. Afterward, we met our wonderful hosts, Nancy and her husband, who greeted us with warmth and hospitality. The property exceeded all expectations. On our first night, we grilled steaks and played Uno—a game Nancy kindly provided. Following a restful night’s sleep, we woke up refreshed and ready for our tour of the llama ranch. Nancy handed us food to feed the alpacas, llamas, and adorable baby goats. Later, we cooked the farm-fresh eggs we’d purchased and enjoyed a hearty, delicious breakfast. I highly recommend staying at Nancy’s Ranch if you’re seeking a peaceful getaway. You truly don’t need to plan a thing—everything is thoughtfully provided, and relaxation (and fun!) come naturally. We’re already planning our next visit. Bonus: Nancy crafts her own soaps and handmade goods using wool from the llamas, which make perfect souvenirs!
