Straightforward, secluded, and minimalist. Don't worry too much about heat during the winter months because of the toasty wood oven and plentiful blankets. There is service for AT&T 5G, and the closest market is 2 minutes away by car.
It was also wonderful because a cat would wander into our area, letting us pet it.
The surrounding area of Placerville is also a nice treat, with many great spots to immerse with.

I loved the entire experience. Such a cozy get away for two and even for one. Bathroom is also very accommodating. Such a peaceful area and beautiful scenery! Very warm! and filled with blankets!

Greg, the host, was very easily accessible through the app. He was fast to respond and had easy to follow directions. He did not meet me at the trailer but walked me through all the steps to make the trailer work for me.
The trailer is located on the side of a small hill over looking the creek, with the road into town located right behind it. There are many homes right next door to the camper but everyone was very quiet and nice. The front of the trailer does face a hill with pine trees so it does feel slightly removed from civilization. The trailer is not well stocked in kitchen goodies such as plates, sharp knives, cutting board, measuring utensils but does have a fridge with a freezer, stove and a toaster oven, and good water for drinking. It has a comfortable bed with two blankets, clean bathroom that is well stocked with shampoo and conditioner and soap. Very easy to get into town and Apple Hill is super close. Overall a good experience.

The little cabin was so cute and comfy! I absolutely loved it. The creek was so peaceful and the accessible firewood was a definite plus! If you’re okay with a minimalistic stay, this place is perfect!

This is an adorable cabin! It feels like the kind of place writers go to get inspired. Surrounded by trees, it sits right above the river, so you get white noise all the time! It's an incredibly relaxing place, and a perfect cozy getaway. At night, it's very quiet and peaceful. I definitely recommend staying here!

I was unable to spend the night due to safety. The listing leaves a lot of information out so I will assist. It is off a main road, lots of traffic, could not hear the creek. It is at the end of a driveway that services what looks to be 3 multifamily residences, not peaceful. The only window in the cabin would not open and I did not want to spend the night in a strange place with the door wide open. It was 96 degrees inside so sleeping without any sort of air movement was not an option. The cabin is a shed. The inside it is taken up by lots of antique furniture and decor, there is no room to walk. Huge wood burning stove takes up space. The toilet/shower/sink combo is very small, you have to use the toilet with your knees apart to fit. Water from the shower will drain out the door, you'll have to step in mud when leaving the shower. Nowhere to put the toilet paper or towel when showering. The cabin had not been dusted, swept or cleaned for a very long time. Previous occupant's trash was present behind furniture. Spiders and webs everywhere, be sure to remove the ones by your head before you sleep. The sleeping mat had food crumbs and dog hair all over it. No oil in the one usable lamp, broken glass shade, balancing dangerously inches from the door at head level. No matches. The little grill balances on broken pieces of what was a chiminea? Many of the steps going down to the creek are unstable and wobble.

Host triple booked his amenities and upset the Labor Day weekend of about 8 people. I confirmed the morning of my stay that I was making my way to the cabin, and that didn't trigger his mind to check whether it was available. Drove 2h expecting a relaxing getaway just to get there and turn around.
Otherwise, the host also has a camper directly adjacent to the cabin, and whoever is staying there may spill over into your site- so its important that your neighbors are good company as they may affect your stay. Would not be going back since the host is not experienced in managing rentals.

Initially drive in was disappointing because the site is surrounded by houses; however, after settling in and enjoying the BEAUTIFUL creek, it’s worth a trip. Greg was very responsive to our questions and concerns. We also stayed one night in the cabin and morning coffee on the deck was amazing.

Minimalist cabin
The tiny cabin was great and exactly what we were looking for. We loved the gas lamps and the wood burning fireplace. Falling asleep to the sound of the running creek was perfect. We loved cooking dinner and then sitting around the fire pit. We definitely enjoyed our time here.

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely delightful! Tucked away in a woodland setting, it offered the perfect escape from city life. The highlight for us was undoubtedly the private creek right in front of the cabin. The soothing sound of running water and the peaceful atmosphere made our mornings and evenings incredibly relaxing.
We were thrilled to find that the cabin was pet-friendly, as we brought our two dogs along. They had a blast playing in the creek.
