Great stay at town location! Walking distance to restaurants, etc, yet peaceful and quiet setting to come back and relax. Patio area is lovely with trees, plants, flowers and birds! All in all a lovely, relaxing stay. Highly recommend. Lots to do in the area from hiking, biking, wine tasting etc.

John was very communicative and responded quickly to any questions/concerns I had.
we arrived around 3:30pm. The space was not ready for us to park. There were several large items in our space, and thankfully, another person who happened to be there to pick something up from John’s place helped move all the items with a forklift.
After it was all moved, We tried to pull into the designated spot. However, there are trees on both sides of the site which prevented us from being able to back straight in. They would have hit our trailer. Our trailer is 26ft from bumper to hitch with one slide out. We were only able to put slide out about halfway due to the tree. I texted John and he responded right away that it would be ok to park at a diagonal to avoid the trees.
One of the things I was looking forward to was the little outdoor patio. But it looked like it hadn’t been used in quite some time. Chairs were leaned over onto the tables, and everything was dirty and covered in spider webs. It was completely unusable.
While the location felt safe enough, and the noise from the freeway really didn’t bother us much, we were awoken at 7:30am by a gardening crew with 2 blowers who were blowing down the big parking lot!! Right next to our trailer!! This was on a Saturday, so if you decide to book this site, be prepared!!
I’m sorry to say we will not be returning to this place again. It was our very first Hipcamp booking. Hopefully, the next one will be better!!

We have a 25 foot motorhome with no slideouts. I there were trees on each side of the driveway. Can’t use the awning. Had to position right to open the door. Also, there was really nothing to do in the area within walking distance. The wineries are not open at all. The power is an extension cord, so we didn’t even want to plug into it.
It would be cool if we had a bunch of people meeting us for a few hours to hang out on the cute patio, but otherwise it was a snooze fest.

Stayed here with no issues! Our 25 ft RV fit fine and hooked up to water and electricity just fine. Owner was super kind.

Overall a good experience, mainly because of the location. It was a nice bonus to have electricity.
The spot was in essence a parking lot in an industrial park and not what you usually think of for a winery.

It’s a nice RV parking with water and electric hookups, it’s a great place to park your RV if you need to spend a night in that area. But it’s not a RV campground. It’s a nice parking spot for RV.

It is a parking space that is not level. However, it was quiet and close to a great Italian restaurant. It was overpriced for what it is.
John was responsive when we had WIFI issues and communicated well before and during the trip.

John's winery spot was very nice and accommodating. He had both water and power for us to hook up to, and even a patio we could light up and enjoy or dinner. It was pretty quiet even though we were close to the freeway.
We arrived during a day the winery wasn't open, otherwise it would have been nice to try what they had.

Safe place to park for the night. It’s a business parking lot. Small space, so not really level and very bright from all the business lights that never turn off. Worked perfectly for us since we were just passing through and needed something easy and quick, which it was.

I loved the experience we had at John’s van. John is very kind, attentive, and has a very cute dog. He replied to my messages very fast, we had some issues with the water pump of the van but John knew exactly what to do and fixed it while we were out for winery tours. I would recommend this place for someone who is a little more adventurous and is not very picky about showering outdoors (with a curtain) or using a portable toilet (very clean and covered) or cooking outdoors with the beautiful sky of central California. My fiancé and I would stay at this place next time we want to visit Santa Inez valley and it’s surroundings

This was a very expensive place to stay with zero facilities (other than WiFi connection). The info implied wine tasting. But everything was shut up. There was a toilet inside but the host died not allow you access.
We could have parked 20 feet away, had the same zero facilities and it been free.
I would not recommend this expensive place until they offer something for your money.

John is a great host. His spots to park are very easy access with a cute shared patio space where he has wine tasting check for schedule. We booked a second night for the location to all places within 1-2 hour distance. Conveniently located close to freeway access and food/gas amenities. Happy Travels 👍

John is a great host. His directions and parking are very easy for us first time road trippers driving a Class B 18ft Dodge Rize for the first time. His location is setup very welcoming. He is close to so many amenities Gas, food, site seeing and visiting. We booked a second night and on to the next adventure. Thanks again John for offering this service. We loved our overnight stays. First time used with hipcamp and smooth process. Host John responded fast with massage. We have no issues with our popped up camper on GMC truck. Just for next hipcamper, if your car is long , choose unit C but still parking space is a little bit sloppy.
