Convenient stay on the way up north or the return south bound trips through the area. All the amenities. Got to stop by the camp store this time and it's very cute.... snacks, tshirts, souvenirs, and things you may have forgotten for your trip.
It was a warm day coming through but it was about 5 degrees cooler at the camp and the shade was falling over it for the evening so made for a nice temp.
Made it up to the tent are for the view of Shasta this time. It's fantastic to sit up there for the view (assuming you're not bothering tent campers). Lovely little tent camping area also with flush toilets and warm showers. Pretty sweet spaces
Road noise is the only complaint which can't be changed. Was more noticeable this time through as we had the windows open on the van to get some cool air in.

We couldn’t have been happier with our experience! We were in Site 5, which offered a stunning, unobstructed view of Mt. Shasta, it truly felt like we had front-row seats to the best view in town.
The bathrooms were always spotless, which is such a gift when you're camping. We also have to give a big shout-out to Erin, the camp host, who was incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful throughout our stay.
It was so nice relaxing around the community fire pit at the bottom of the hill and we also got to enjoy the fresh eggs from the campstore.
If you’re looking for a convenient, accessible campsite that’s close to town and full of opportunities for adventure, Trailer Lane Campground is a fantastic choice. We’ll definitely be back!

I stayed in A7 with my van and it was relatively quiet except for the freeway noise. Bathrooms and showers were clean which was nice. Everyone in the campground seemed pretty chill and went to sleep fairly early

Love this sweet spot for a stopover when traveling on the I-5. I like the proximity to hiking trails and the town. This tent site is really private.

It's clear the hosts have thought of all the details from their own travel experiences. Warm bathrooms, hot showers, no generators going, close off the road and easy to get to. We didn't make it to the convenience store but it's a great idea.
There is road noise but didn't seem to keep me up. And loved the visit to the animals.

This is an RV park and my comments are based on that fact. If you are looking for a boondocking experience, this may not be your place.
It is a small park, maybe 20 spots total. There is tent camping up the hill. We were in A2, through the trees you see the trucks going down I5. You can hear the highway noise. But at night, not as noticeable as there is not much traffic.
Bathrooms are clean, updated, showers and flushing toilets.
Chickens, turkeys and goats on property. A charcoal grill near firepit. About 10 picnic tables scattered around.
An hour from Lake Shasta, but plenty of hiking near by.
Sites have electrical, water and sewer. Grounds are kept up.
A good place for base camp and doing things in the area.

Karen's hospitality is something that I would love to get in every place that I stay, when I travel. I answered tones of questions and got tones of very kind and very useful answers. Her place is wonderful and extremely comfortable. And there is also a hill with the best view of the Mt. Shasta. Definitely recommend Trailer Lane Campground for your stay in this region.

The campground host were very friendly and helpful and flexible and we really appreciated that. The campground is small and they have a nice communal fire pit and the bathrooms were very clean and heated with warm water. Spacing of the sites was a little close for our taste and also the sound of the highway was a bit disturbing but overall it was a good choice to stay for one night

This site was a gem! With a view of Mt Shasta, the campground is quiet and serene. With lake Shastina just a few minutes away, there are plenty of things to do, including hiking and a 15 min drive to see the waterfalls. The rv site is fully prepped and there is a market on the property with fresh eggs, rv supplies, firewood, etc. etc. Our two kids 7 & 11 loved the farm animals and spent hours walking on the property and enjoying the outdoors. The campground is safe and clean, and the owners are very welcoming. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Unfortunately, I was told (a day in advance) that the site I reserved would not be available due to winter weather and I was put in another site on the lower loop. That site, in contrast, did not have a panoramic view. When I walked up the hill for a sunset picture, I did not see what winter weather prevented my stay at the original, better site. I agree, for tent campers, the freeway noise can be quite jarring at times. The positive was the nice, helpful ladies at the store when I initially arrived.. Also, I realized too late that I had prepaid for firewood which I did not receive and when I inquired about a refund via the contact in the app, I was ghosted with no response at all.

Conifer Loop: Tent Site T1
As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe and comfortable at Trailer Lane. The grounds were clean and organized, the bathrooms were spotless. I was not in the least bothered by the freeway sounds. I will definitely reserve a spot again next time I make the trip from California to Oregon. Many thanks for a comfortable, clean, safe place to stay!

This facility is more like a campground than an RV Park! Several back-in sites with full hookups on the outer perimeter, like A4, are surrounded by oak and pine trees. The facility is spotless in general. The bathrooms/shower rooms were heated, and the shower stalls were new and in perfect shape. Laundry facility onsite as well. It is a great place to restock and recharge if you are on a long journey or just spending time in the Mt Shasta, Weed, Yreka area. This will be my go-to place in the Nor-Cal I5/97 corridor.

Great spot - right off I-5, easy to get to, clean and you get some peek a boo glimpses of Mount Shasta. The layout of the campground is very thoughtful, the host has great communication and there is a little camp store if you forgot something. The animals onsite are a bonus!

This is a small RV campground in a beautiful region. We came in after the store/reception was closed, but found someone to sort us out. We slept in a rooftop tent, but most campers had RV’s. It was quiet and enjoyable.

Had a great quick stay at Trailer Lane while passing through. Enjoyed the campfire and the animals, including turkeys and a really friendly black and white cat! Excellent views from the tent campsites, though clouds obscured Mount Shasta for much of my stay. Hope to come through again in the future!

This place was great. It's a great location with all of the amenities you need. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. The weather took a turn while I was there so the spots up top weren't a good option, so Karen set me up at a spot that was better for the time of year. I hiked up the hill though and the view is breathtaking. Would definitely come here again!!

Arrive before dark if possible! We stayed in T1 and had a hard time locating the campsite in the dark. It is very obvious during the day, but in the dark the road over the bridge is not visible. (A left turn where the signage says right only.) The host answered right away and helped us out :)
There are chickens and turkeys and other animals on the premises. Very cute setup! Would recommend for a peaceful rest stop.

Super cute and well thought out campground. Let's start with two trailers just for chickens! Roosters and turkeys are on the property as well. Very clean bathrooms. Nice, well stocked store. Good signage throughout the campground. We were impressed. Near the freeway, but that goes with the territory. Hosts have laid everything out in a handy booklet so you can find whatever you need during your stay.

The campsite has an amazing view of Mount Shasta! The bath house which is solar powered and with hot showers made it even better. We highly recommend this campsite, we had a great breakfast from the fresh eggs we purchased and cooked on top of that we also enjoyed our amazing Mountain View! Everything was exceptional
