This is such a gem of a find! I will definitely be back. Everything was far better than I could have imagined! The hosts are so kind and truly care about the land and the campers. So many thoughtful touches like free firewood, tetherball, tree swing, and so much more.

Beautiful and remote! Directions were easy and clear, last 10ish miles are dirt roads, so slow going. Easy creek access from the campsites. Sites are well spaced so you don’t feel on top of the other sites. There was no cloud cover the nights I was there, so you could see the stars.

I loved camping here. The creek and amenities of the site made this experience enjoyable. The bathrooms, general store, overall space and access to clean spring water made this one of my favorite camping grounds I’ve been to.

Great stewards of the land, loved meeting the three hosts, Carey, Jerry, and Cody. I was surprised by the interesting landmarks nearby. I even was able to learn some local history from the people I met! Great facilities which made camping a breeze. Loved being able to bring the dogs along, which was the biggest plus of the trip

Trinity Outpost Wilderness Resort was absolutely magical. My kids had the best time exploring nature, and the whole experience felt like an adventure. The host was incredibly friendly, firewood was generously provided, and the potable water tasted surprisingly good. The creek was stunning—truly a hidden gem. Highly recommended!

Beautiful 100 acres of camp sites with fast moving creek meandering throughout. STaff most helpful- even coming 7 miles to rescue our car and trailer from steep gravel incline. Owner of property very knowledgeable about wildlife and fauna in area- guiding us to trails, history of the land, and plans to expand attraction to the property for concerts, group retreats,
othe4r creative ways to connect nature and human stewardship of the land.
I highly recommend this campground.

Trinity Outpost Wilderness Resort is a very special place. We went there early in May and we had the place to ourselves--and it made it extra special. We stayed at the Turtle Cove campsite and it was perfect. The constant humming of the running water, perfect stone-lined firepits, shady tree cover, ample space, flush toilets, and clear drinking water... This is not you typical crowded state campground. We saw the turtles in the creek, took a dip, and enjoyed the tranquility of the site. We can imagine that even full, this campground would be a haven for families with kids. There is plenty of spots to roam around and so much to do and explore. We took the hike down to the old bath house and it is difficult to imagine folks making the trek to this gorgeous remote area 150 years ago. And if you need to reconnect to the real world for a few minutes you can walk to the store and get Wi-Fi access.
Most special was our interaction with Carrie--who with Cody provides so much exuberant and contagious passion, vision, and love for this place--where they live all year long. They should charge more for this slice of heaven!

This place was a dream. The campsite is huge and the nature is beautiful. The creek runs along the campsite and it has decent water levels, very clear as well. Bathrooms were clean. Noticed lots of different campfire and bbq set up for the different sites. We were lucky and the only ones there! We also saw some passerbys possibly from farther campsites or the free sites outside this campground.
I booked this place last minute yet they were quick and very responsive. Instructions were very clear. I headed to the place right after work so I got there very late, but had no problems following the directions provided. I would recommend getting there while the sun is still out though. After reaching Red Bluff, the roads were very dark and a last couple of miles is gravel road in the forest. I have a 2WD sedan and we were a little nervous but we made it in and out just fine. The campsite also made sure to have us communicate our arrival time and waited for us late night which was really kind and reassuring!

The campsite had a fresh river that ran along the campsite. The hike to the look out had a stunning view and didn't take long to get to. The site offered bathrooms and a volleyball net you could play badminton or volleyball on. I would say to come and explore for yourself all the great features of this campsite. Thank you for the hospitality Keri and Cody!

Amazing spot and host! Would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away for a weekend. The round leading up to the camp is a bit tight I highly suggest do not drive a giant RV. Besides that great time with my buddies so thank you again for allowing use to stay.

We booked this for a family getaway, but only one person at our party could stay. He said that the campgrounds were beautiful and that he could do his remote work while near the general store. We can't wait to book again and enjoy the time away. The host was very accommodating to our shifting needs and very hospitable.

Wilderness Resort Exclusive Retreat
Great secluded spot with many comforts (flushing toilets, potable water, a fire pit). Had a 20 person campout here for our second time and we loved it as much as the first time. Hosts were super friendly and responsive. The property is beautiful with hot springs and a swimming hole and of course, lots of trees. We will definitely be back!

Great views from the camp sites and falling asleep every night to the sound of the lovely little stream babbling away as the soundtrack was a treat. Having a camp kitchen and fresh spring water available made it for me a luxury experience. Couldn't speak to the trails or the rest of the property as I was so relaxed in camp I just chilled and napped.

Super relaxing getaway; Trinity Outpost is a beautiful plot of land. We had a great time in the swimming holes (so refreshing, crisp, and cold!) and the mineral baths. This is a great place to stay if you really want to connect with nature and get away from the hustle and bustle of life.

We had an amazing time and Carrie is the sweetest host! We received some strawberry jam as their first sale. We stayed on a platform right next to the stream which was so peaceful at night. There were no others so we had the site all to ourselves! Beautiful! We will be back

Came for 2 nights that turned out to be an amazing time!! The property is huge and beautiful with lush trees and a peaceful creek, there is a magical area in the forest where all the trees change and from the mountains there is a mineral spring that flows into the creek! The camping spots are spacious and there are many things to do around like volleyball, magical cabins and sheds all around, the staff are very kind and welcoming, very knowledgable about the history of the property! We recommend for everyone that is looking for a forest hideout to go and explore!

Came up from the S.F. Bay Area with our dog, my husband and our 2 teenage boys. Great place and worth the long drive. Loved being off grid with access to a clean, flushing toilet and a lovely stream. They had fun activities - tether ball a net for volleyball and badminton. It would be fun to come with other friends next time and more reading material. I think our dog loved it the best because he got to be off leash almost the entire time.

I recently stayed at this incredible campsite that quickly became a favorite. One of the best features was the dog-friendly policy, which allowed my dog to roam freely, adding to the sense of freedom and connection with nature. The campsite itself had plenty of space, and our spot was particularly secluded, offering a feeling of peaceful solitude. Falling asleep to the sight of the stars and the sound of a melodic stream was pure magic. The nights spent around the campfire with friends were unforgettable, filled with laughter and the warmth of shared memories. Highly recommend this spot for a serene and memorable getaway.

Love our site. It was so peaceful & relaxing especially the sound of the stream & the night sky lit up w/endless stars. Even though the weather was hot, the canopy of the trees made the temperature perfect, breezy & cool. We can't wait to go back especially to see what other projects they are doing to the place. The host is friendly & love hearing the history of the land that he shared w/us.

Loved the campsite- right on the creek! Spacious and private! Lots of interesting hiking trails. We saw the mineral springs, a step back in history. The hosts were friendly and helpful. I recommend going if you like rustic camping yet with flushing toilets and sinks for washing up. I will come again.

trinity outpost is beautiful, wild, and isolated. As long as you’re prepared for a little bit of an adventurous drive in this place is amazing and secluded which was such a gift on a holiday weekend. The directions are pretty spot on but I think it’s important to mention that you’re driving on a dirt/gravel road for about 45 minutes once you’re off highway 36 without any cell service for a very long time. Apple Maps doesn’t work to get you here but google maps do and so do the hosts directions. Highly recommend coming in the daylight because the road caused a touch of anxiety 😬 it was fine just be prepared for a bumpy gravel road, sometimes along the edge of a gorge to get to such a magical place in the wilderness. Bring bug spray and everything you need because you are FAR from everything. There’s potable water from the spring that is amazing.
The water was incredible. Deerlick springs is magical and was exactly the kind of hip camp I love because it’s so far off the beaten path. If you’re down to drive into some wilderness and be self sufficient, it felt divine to be in the woods. Highly recommend a morning dip in the pools we hickey rock as your nature bath because there aren’t showers but the spring is honestly some earth magic. I would absolutely recommend to a fellow wanderer who enjoys bearing witness to nature 🩷

WOW! The property was straight up MAGICAL. We were in awe the entire time. It looks like a Utopia and is run like it as well, in the best way. Wood is already all chopped up and free but they accept tips (tip well!). Various equipment for you to borrow and use. They run a cute general store where you can stock up on supplies.
There were only two other campers but we would have hardly known. Campsites were spaced far apart and fellow campers were quiet and respectful.
One request of fellow dog owners-please pick up or dig a hole for your dog's poop.
This campground is well worth the drive out there!

Outstanding, amazing, the best ever! Between the gorgeous setting and the great folks at Trinity Outpost- I can’t recommend it enough. I hope they never pave the road through the mountain to get there though- it will keep this location as precious as it’s always been! Many thanks to the wonderful caretakers for sharing their spot with so much generosity and passion!

The location and drive there were beautiful. Warning the drive is difficult toward the end. But it was so worth it! They had everything we could need there from volleyball to firewood and nice bathrooms. I really enjoyed my time there.
