Welcome to Cattail Springs! Nestled on nine wooded acres conveniently located just one mile off I-69 in Daleville, Indiana, this relaxing and peaceful property also features a stunning five-acre pond. The pond is fully stocked with a variety of fish, inviting anglers of all skill levels to cast a line. We do ask that you respect the catch and release rule. Surrounded by trees and a magnitude of rocks, this former stone quarry feels like a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Enjoy peaceful mornings by the water, afternoons filled with outdoor activities and quiet evenings by the fire pit under a starlit sky. Keep an eye out for deer, our resident blue herons, birds, ducks and other woodland creatures. Up to two dogs are permitted. Pet waste must be properly bagged and thrown away and dogs must be leashed when not at your immediate campsite. Stream your favorite shows or connect to the office with our free Wi-Fi. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS + CONVENIENCES (all within just a few miles of Cattail Springs--Anderson, Daleville + Chesterfield are within minutes since Cattail Springs is on the county line of these three towns) Gray water disposal and showers: Pilot, 15876 W. Commerce Road, Daleville, IN 47334. Laundry at EZ Wash: 323 Anderson Road, Anderson, IN 46017. Badger Bait & Tackle: 121 W. Plum Street, Chesterfield, IN 46017. Firewood: purchase from us for a donation or at local gas stations. Groceries or supplies: Harvest Market (205 Federal Drive, Chesterfield, IN 46017). Exit 226, one exit south, offers Meijer, WalMart, pet food stores and more. Harrah's Hoosier Park Casino Racetrack: horse racing and gaming (4500 Dan Patch Circle, Anderson, IN 46013). Mounds State Park: 4306 Mounds Rd, Anderson, IN 46017, two miles from the property, features beautiful trails as well as ten earthworks built by the Adena-Hopewell people, prehistoric Indians. Entrance fee is typically $7. Dining: exit 234 offers traditional fast food options (Starbucks, Wawa, Wendy's, McDonald's, Subway, Wendy's, Culvers, Pizza King, Bird's Smokehouse and more). Exit 226, one exit south of Cattail Springs, offers a robust variety of restaurants, including McAlister's, Chic-fil-A, Montana Mike's, Texas Roadhouse, Chipotle, Olive Garden, Cracker Barrel and more.

The Landing at Cattail Springs is a waterfront site perfect location for car, SUV and campervan camping. Located on the five-acre Cattail Springs spring-fed pond, you're sure to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. From our resident blue herons, deer, woodpeckers, cardinals and robins to turtles, ducks and an abundance of fish, you'll feel relaxed and unplugged here. Relax by the fire pit, fish (catch and release only please), pop up a hammock, dine on the picnic table provided and walk the trails. Enjoy free wifi and 30 amp hookup service. PLEASE NOTE: NO travel trailers or micro campers are permitted due to site elevation change and limited size of access lane. 15' length vehicle maximum for this site. NO hunting permitted; catch and release fishing only.

I mistakenly booked a site that was meant for an RV but Cole helped us figure all out. We camped out a primitive site camp he has called the cattail cove. This site couldn’t have been better for my family and I. We felt secluded, with plenty of privacy. The site had enough space for all of our needs and more. This campsite does not have portable water, electricity or bathrooms. But it does have for a great time in front of the glistening water and fire pit. The site has plenty shade and is mostly quiet. There is a train you’ll hear but it isn’t bothersome. I feel like it adds to the experience. Be ready for gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Plus, this is a Great spot for stargazing. It was awesome to get away from the city life in a spot with gas stations and fast food restaurants nearby it needed. Cole was friendly and extremely helpful. He’s was the best host ever.

My 7 year old grandson and i spent the night at site one. it was lovely! The dock and surroundings are perfect for an easy adventure. Great host and simple directions.

Cattail Springs : The Overlook
Cole was an terrific host - very friendly and responsive. He greeted us and made sure we had what we needed, accommodating our late arrival. He's building a cool site there that's peaceful, on the pond, and set up well for campers. Highly recommend!

Cole and Janel were such great hosts! We appreciated how flexible and accommodating they were with our later arrival time. Cole made sure we were all set up for the night and it was so fun to be greeted with treats too! This was our very first night as new RV owners and Cattail Springs was exactly what we needed! Their spot was the perfect place to relax for the evening - beautiful sunset farm views and the pond with fish and birds to check out too. Thank you Cole and Janel for a wonderful stay!
