2 nights at Sleek Acres

We had a great time staying at Sleek acres. Lisa and Earl put a lot of work into their property to ensure campers enjoy their experience and it is clear they take pride in both the property and hosting campers. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and had what we needed to be comfortable. The campsites are clean and flat and despite some recent rain the ground wasn’t muddy or flooded—perfect for setting up camp. The property is a working homestead, definitely get some eggs for breakfast and ask to feed the fish. This camping experience was the highlight of our trip.

Pretty cozy. Nice view on the pond. Bathroom clean. The owners provided firewood (thanks!!). Quite spacious and the fire pit is very nice. Had a late check in and were still super well welcomed. Just watch out for the tics.

This was our third time coming. And we absolutely loved it! We had a group of three families. We cold plunged in the river. Kids biked all over. Floated down the river. Cooked over the fire. Saw everything from the bald eagles to Boston orioles. Whitney is an absolute delight. He’s kind and creates such a rich and wonderful space. We’ll be back. Many more times. It’s a magical space.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so kindly and warmly. They were incredibly understanding, helpful, and truly made us feel at home. The entire campsite is beautifully maintained — everything was clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully arranged. The scenery is stunning, and the overall atmosphere is so calm and relaxing. One of our favorite highlights was the sweet family of geese roaming the property — such a fun and charming surprise that made the stay even more special. Everything about this site was fantastic. We were close enough to the water and bathrooms to utilize them when we wanted and also far enough away to where we felt that it was just us camping even tho other sites were occupied. Earl and Lisa went above and beyond and helped make our stay perfect. This place is awesome and Titus is a super hospitable host. We only stayed for a night on a road trip and wish we could have stayed longer. The site is very secluded and has everything you need for camping!

I really enjoyed my brief 1 night stay here! Titus made me feel very welcomed, too. A lot of TLC has gone into this property. Well manicured drive and sites. A few clean primitive toilets situated between the sites that are distanced apart from each other and private. There is a mowed walking trail. The woodchip site is in the back, along a field. You can hear the clip clop of the Amish carriage horses in the distance and at night you can see their running lights along the bottom as they ride along in the distance. Not close neighbors so it's quiet except for a road that parallels the property, in the distance, but the coolness of the place made up for that. I would love to return.

4 nights at Havendell Farm and Wayside

We have stayed several times and this stay did not disappoint. It's clean, quiet, we feel very safe and the owners are great. Dave's location is easy to get to and close enough for easy on and off the highway. The view is great wide open fields and woods to enjoy. The horses, farm animals and flowers are very easy to enjoy. We will go back each time we are in the area. We give them a 10++ and would recommend to anyone that is in the area and looking for a nice place to stay, one night or several nights. Thank you again for a nice stay!!!

What once started in the mid 1800's as a 240 acre sugar maple tree farm is now our little 18 acres of heaven on earth. Our house was built on the property in 1875. The land is rolling and dotted with flower beds, animals, and beautiful green grass that is mowed weekly. We are bordered by fields and a cemetery that dates back to the 1800's.We are neighbors with those who grow crops, raise beef cows, bison, and alpacas.2 blocks from our driveway is Blue River which offers fishing, kayaking, tubing, and canoeing (if you have your own equipment). Town is 2 minutes away, but there is not much there other than a convenience gas station, aTodd's Great Outdoor Bait Shop, and an engine repair shop. There are often festivals, open Music Jams and community events. "Civilization" is a 30 minute drive to find movies, grocery, shopping, and a public pool. The sky appears to be scattered with diamonds on a clear night and during season the fireflies light the trees up like twinkling lights at Christmas! Learn more about this land: We have an 18 acre mini farm, close to a small town and near a river. We have two small ponds that can be fished in during the early spring, wildlife, and birds to watch. There are 6 very nice areas for camp sites that allow for privacy and relaxation. Each site has a fire pit and table. We also have just put in a new out house and have a port-a-potty for our campers to use. We are 10 minutes from Interstate 70 and only 30 minutes from Indianapolis. If you are just passing through or arriving late, let us know and we will be happy to have a campfire started for you. Accommodations can be made for group camping! Each site is in a wooded, shaded area with a flat area on the ground to place a single large tent. Each site has its own fire ring and a small wooden table. There is wood on the ground you may use for firewood, and ample twigs etc on the ground for kindling (do not cut any trees or branches off trees). There is a covered firewood shed with dry firewood as well. There are maintained trails with river access for kayaks. There is a porta potty near the campsites with a handwashing station, that is open year round. Sleek Acres is a total of 13 acres, which includes our homestead, our chicken yard and barn, a fishing pond, and over 8 secluded acres to the back of the property where guests can explore (including walking trails). There are hungry catfish and bass in the pond who are always happy to be fed (we provide the fish food). Fishing is allowed, but catch and release only (under 12"), please! A small group of ducks live on the pond and will happily greet you as you walk to the beach. Relax at the beach in the morning as you enjoy your coffee and watch the fish, ducks, and turtles swim in the pond. Fire rings and picnic tables are provided at each site. A small amount of firewood is provided, and additional firewood is available for purchase. We have two charcoal grills available for your use. You can walk right up to the fence and they will greet you. You may also see deer, fox, groundhogs, and many beautiful birds in the camping area. Located central to many destinations, we are 5 minutes from All-Sports Koontz Lake; 10 minutes from Plymouth, plenty of shopping and home of the Blueberry Festival (Labor Day weekend); 10 minutes from Walkerton, home of the Falloween Fest (Sept. 26, 27, 28); 25 minutes from Valparaiso; and 50 minutes from Notre Dame. Welcome to Narnia! Or Atlantis!? Or... The Property? The Hidden Valley? We just haven't committed to a name yet so it's a little bit of everything all rolled into one! 8 acres on the magical Ganges, er, White River makes for a fun time. You can expect a certain amount of privacy while still potentially making a new friend or two depending on the night. You will be nestled under some giant sycamores, cottonwoods, black walnuts, catulpas, and a mess of bush honeysuckle that is always being battled! We have 2-3 sites directly on the river and then scores throughout with trails, hills, and other interesting features. Multiple firepits though I CANNOT guarantee firewood. There is often plenty to collect or available on site but if you can bring your own that'd be safest bet! We are (somehow) located partially inside Muncie city limits right on the river. Yes you may occasionally hear some trains or even particularly loud cars while camping deep in the woods but this is the tradeoff for a one mile drive to bars, restaurants, and groceries! Best of both worlds. The Muncie Eagles, whose nest resides directly across the river from us, do not seem to mind! This location is also directly on two main bike trail routes and our trails are fun for low impact mountain biking! We also have a small armada of kayaks/canoes on site; IF arranged that option does exist for cost of transport! We have 2 porta potties on site as well and fresh water hose available at main house. Looking forward to hosting!

Brookville Lake is about 5 minutes away. We have 25 acres with about 3 wooded acres with over 100 sugar maple trees and about 20 acres of flat grass fields plenty of room to hike, just keep in mind we have one horse that is fenced in so please close gates back when you open them. We mow trails for biking feel free to explore, if you run into a cornfield it's not our property. Att has excellent service at 94mbps download and 11mbps upload, Verizon is good at 36mbps Download and 5mbps upload. We have an outhouse for tent campers And water is available by campsite 1 and we have portable idc tote with city water. We also have 3 indoor/outdoor cats, they like to visit the campground. Direction: Please use SR 44 to country road 450 and go north and take a right at 4 way stop on to Springersville Road and we are about a quarter mile down the road on the left. Mustang Sally's Park

What to expect lodging at Mustang Sally's: Mustang Sally's offers glamping sites, primitive camping sites and small camper sites. In the future, the plan is to add RV sites and full service cabin sites. The most common question is "What is Glamping?" Well, glamping is glorified camping. Glamping has real beds and other comforts of home but in the camping setting. Non-Glamping sites are available for tents, pop-ups, trucks & van camping. Motorhomes are not allowed at this time. The goal is by end of summer to have tree height cleared in main driveway to allow clearance for RV/Motorhomes. Currently there are no shower facilities as of May 2024. Outhouses are available. Mustang is currently working on what will be called "Bath Row" with the plan of them being finished by July 1, 2024. Bath row will consist of 10 restroom units. Each unit will have it's own private toliet, shower and changing area. Camp Fires are allowed within the fire rings provided at each camp site. Please keep them under control and make sure they are totally out before leaving the camp site. Check in time is 3pm EST Check out is 11am EST. Quiet time is 10 PM to 7 AM Trash cans are located throughout the park. Please tie trash bags completely closed and put your trash completely in the trash container. If the first can is full, please find another container. Please do not place your trash on the ground. Possums and racoons are attracted to left out or disposed of food and while we think they are cute and wonderful animals, we don’t want you to find a surprise in the night of a visiting racoon at your site because of incorrectly disposed of trash! Feel free to bring your own bike. Riding bicycles on our main entrance road is prohibited for the safety of your children and our incoming guests. You are able to ride them everywhere else on the property, just not the main driveway. Cancelling your reservation on the day of or within 7 days prior to arrival will result in no refund. Cancelling your reservation 8 to 14 days prior to arrival, you will be refunded half of your total stay. Cancellations 15 or more days will receive a full refund minus a $15 processing fee. There will be no refunds after you have checked in, for inclement weather, failure to follow the Rules & Regulations, or disorderly conduct. Manager/Owner reserves the right to have discretion on all refunds.

Discover a hidden gem at our RV park, which reopened on July 1, 2018, after several years of closure. This unique destination offers daily, weekly, and seasonal rentals for RV sites, cottages, and tent sites, making it the perfect getaway for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike. The new ownership team is dedicated to revitalizing the park, and significant upgrades have already been made. The beach has been extended with fresh sand, and the beach bar and restaurant are now open for guests to enjoy. Our office now offers carryout beer, alcohol, Dippin’ Dots, and convenience store items. Currently, 29 cabins are available for rent, with 12 having undergone complete renovations. Additionally, a new boat ramp and piers have been installed, along with 21 covered boat lifts available for rent, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the park. While the two-story banquet hall remains closed and boarded up, plans for future renovations are in the works. Over the next few years, we aim to renovate more cottages, with 12 already updated. Although both bathhouses are operational, they are in need of improvements, and we plan to renovate the lower village bathhouse by the end of the 2025 season. Currently, we offer 43 daily,
