The people were very kind. However, the site is super close to a busy road, airport, and railroad track. So that’s all we heard all night long. Also, there was no portable toilet as listed. Only a toilet in the hosts house. We did not feel comfortable with that, especially since it was stated in the listing.

Daniel was very kind and helpful for our one night stay. The dogs were adorable, and it was fun seeing Paco the goat and all of the chickens! The site is near the airport but there didn't seem to be any planes through the night, at least none that we heard. The hosts let us use their bathroom inside the house. And Daniel is building an outdoor shower. Only cold water during our stay, but it was very roomy and nice. Overall a very nice and clean site!

Great spot downtown and close to everything Indy has to offer! Was perfect for my camper and trailer.

Palafox Paradise
Daniel, Norma, and Johanna are awesome! From the moment we pulled in, they made us feel at home. They went above and beyond to make our Indy 500 weekend great! Daniel brought us fresh farm eggs for breakfast, Norma drove my elderly Dad to the speedway so he didn't have to walk, and the two community fire pits were roaring with plenty of wood to last the night! We will definitely stay there again next time!

Daniel is very hospital, the area is great. We camped there for the info 500 and walked to the track. The porta potties were clean and they had a nice area to take a quick shower. Great little find, we will definitely stay here again.

My family and I really enjoyed staying on Johanna's property. Her father is fantastic host and made us a part of his family while we were there. He ensured us a beautiful spot, with a gazebo and a fire pit!. it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this site.
We watched the solar eclipse from the property and it was a perfect choice since the host, family members and other campers shared the experience with us while we got an unobstructed view of the moon crossing the path of the sun.

We stayed 3 nights. The hosts were very kind and accommodating and allowed us to come inside to use the bathroom and fill water from the hose and sink tap when they were there. We were able to charge our battery packs on the back porch. The grounds were flat and there was lots of open space for tenting. The outdoor toilet was a disaster - no saw dust in the bucket and just a mess. My partner used it but I refused because of fear of splash-up — YUCK! It’s a little noisy (planes, trains, cars, and rooster crowing throughout the morning), so pack ear plugs, but otherwise it is a relaxing campsite with nice fire pits and seating areas.

I wish I had a larger sample size to draw from, but if you asked me today who the nicest people in Indianapolis are, I would say, “The owners of Palafox Paradise,” We would like to thank them for making our stay so pleasant. Thanks, thanks! I hope we have a reason to have to camp out in Indy again some day. We would be back.
