Amazing location, located right off the pond with plenty of flat options for a tent. Take your choice from shade or open sun. Short walk to a flushing bathroom with a large sink of hot & cold water. Mary was welcoming and made us feel at home. Plenty to do with two young kids and pups!

Lovely place to enjoy memorial day. We caught so many fish and enjoyed time on the boats. Great place to go and get away. The host was so responsive and helpful.

What a beautiful property! And lovely people to work with! Mary approved our request very quickly which was absolutely lovely! What she didn’t know was we had just lost our home and are camping in our van. It was exactly the peace and respite we needed! Thank you Mary and your husband!

Very private area with a small fire pit. Not the flattest area but can find a good spot but maneuvering around a little bit. Mary was very helpful in leading the way via phone call to the correct location. Had a great stay during our short trip

This was our first Hipcamp experience, and it was absolutely serene and peaceful. My husband and I had a wonderful time surrounded by nature. The highlight of our stay was the beautiful pond, which added a touch of tranquility to the entire setting. We couldn’t have asked for a better escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Highly recommended!

O-M-G! This was THE best experience I’ve ever had. My husband and I had decided on an impromptu camping adventure after our previous camping trip didn’t pan out the way we’d expect. After scrolling on “Hip Camp” , I stumbled across the host Mary and her beautiful farm and was immediately ecstatic after seeing all the pictures. Shortly after, we were in contact with the host and she was very welcoming and gave us the whole rundown of her land and what to expect. She was willing to accommodate for all our needs and was literally a phone call or text away at all times. Arrival and departure was smooth and seamless and would definitely do this again. The stay was great even our dog didn’t even want to leave lol. Will come again !

What an amazing property to pick for my first Hipcamp! Mary went above and beyond, recommending things to do and places to eat as well as providing us highly accurate guidance to the camp site 😁. The site is picturesque. We will be back!

Second trip to Mary’s farm and had a great time as usual! Mary is so friendly and accommodating, really a wonderful person and host! Love the area with plenty of breweries to visit in the area. Will return again soon!

Mary is wonderful to work with and takes care to make sure campers have a great experience. I planned a short camping trip when my schedule suddenly opened up and Mary was responsive and accomodating. The farm is quiet and the area is fun to explore. We’ll be back.

Mary was very kind and accommodating. I just happened to make a reservation after 5 days of rain, and it rained two more while I was there. Mary found a great dry site next to a corn farm that overlooked a meadow full of cows. I had a relaxing two day visit visiting a nearby historic mill. There are beautiful state parks nearby so plenty to do. Mary and her husband also sell cheese out of their shop. Didn't get to visit it but will in the future. Thanks for the hospitality.

Mary was an excellent host and so helpful! My husband and I decided last minute we wanted to get out of the city and she was able to accommodate us despite having a wedding on the property that day as well. When we arrived, she took us down to the camping area to get us settled for the night and ensured we had everything we'd need. She also texted us some recommendations for hiking and food for the following day! We didn't get a chance to try the ice cream/milkshakes from the food truck they have on site, but we definitely will on a return trip. The campsite was quiet and serene, and we enjoyed having a fire and night to ourselves surrounded by a pond and trees. Thank you Mary!

I met with Mary upon arrival. She led me to my assigned site & explained the amenities. My site was spacious. Good spacing between sites. I spent some time on the small dock watching frogs & damsel flies & minnows. In the evening I was serenaded by Great Horned Owls. The stars did not disappoint, Morning arrived with the trill of 2 Screech Owls very close by.

Mary is a very friendly host. The property is stunning & peaceful but the listing is not exactly as desirable. We selected the field view site near the tree line for shade & extra privacy, unfortunately this site was not mowed & full of thorny vines which were not good for our small dog. We ended up camping in the open area near all the wrapped hay bails, which was fine since the weather was cool, but if not we would have roasted to death because we were in full sun with no shade. We had no picnic table, no bins for trash & I’m not sure potable water was available even though the listing said these were included, Mary said picnic tables are not available at all sites, although she did offer to bring us a table, we declined as it seemed she had her hands full, managing several kids as well as preparing for a wedding event. Although these missing items were not deal breakers, it’s just disappointing when you pay $40 a night and the site is not as described.
We enjoyed hearing the cows at night and had a great time at Falling Branch brewery.

Super place to tent camp or have a tear drop camper. Loved fishing in the huge stocked pond. - catch & release.
Caught so many blue gill that I stopped counting.
There is no fire ring. Bring equipment if you like cooking on a fire. I love cooking all meals on the fire when camping. Mary told us that we could burn any logs and twigs that we collected - there was a pile of wood from a tree that was previously cut down that we used. We did signup for the wood fire bundles & icecream/cow crossing - unfortunately it never materialized. Mary may have been too busy with setting up for a wedding that happened on the property the day we arrived.
Loved having access to the flushing toilet. Be ready for a good walk up the hill to get to it.
Several stores (Rutters, Dollar General, Soebels) are only a few minutes drive from the farm - purchased ice for food cooler.
There was a last minute tear drop camper that came for our 1st night. Mary phoned and asked if we minded having other campers there. Very thoughtful! We didn’t mind - they came over and joined us at our fire pit. Got to meet & make new friends!
Overall - enjoyed a relaxing 2 night stay.

Mary went out of her way to welcome us when we made a last minute request to stay at Fawn View Farm. We had actually been wanting to visit for a while, and when a nearby state park didn’t live up to its promises, we found ourselves scrambling for a place to stay for the night. Along came Mary! What a beautiful, peaceful location! We’re so glad we ended up here and couldn’t have asked for a friendlier host. She met us in the middle of the road and escorted us to the perfect site. There were some other folks camping across the field who were also super friendly. We really just had the best time, and it was so unexpected. Mary was very responsive to questions and had good suggestions of nearby food, breweries, etc, but she left us alone while we were there - so it was the perfect balance. We agree with other reviewers that the bathroom was a bit “rustic,” but we’ve seen more rustic situations than that for sure! The toilet was clean, it flushed, and there was a sink available to wash your hands. We have our own small bathroom in our camper but chose to use this one instead, so that tells you it was a-okay. We’ll definitely return to Fawn View when we want to get away from the city. Thanks again Mary!

Owner was responsive and friendly. Site was clear of debris and the and without high grass and weeds. Surprisingly, the ground of the site was dry and firm despite it having poured in the few days prior. Great little site on a cute property.

Great stay at Mary’s farm, we will definitely be back again. Mary was very accommodating and a wonderful host. We had the pleasure of visiting her ice cream truck at the farm which was fun. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the scenery. Water was available at the barn area to fill up our canisters which was convenient. There is a very rustic bathroom inside the barn with sink and flushable toilet but it’s definitely nothing fancy but glad we were able to use it. It was a bit of an adventure trying to find it but after opening a few doors we managed to figure out where it was located. We had slow service for Verizon but overall not bad for being off the beaten path. We visited some great breweries in the area like Big Truck Farms, Aviator Brew Hub and Black Locust Brewery. We enjoyed our stay here and will be back!

This was a quiet Hipcamp site, far from the road which made it great to unwind and allow the dogs to have some freedom! It was nice to have access to a flush toilet as well.

We had a very lovely weekend at Mary's campsite and the surrounding area. Very peaceful and beautiful property with plenty of firewood to scavenge for. Make sure to check out Slate Farm Brewery and Falling Branch Brewery while you are in the area. The Monkton Cafe is also worth the drive.
