The Agape is located on 20 acres and over 2000' of shoreline in Maryland’s Eastern Shore, with breath taking sunsets every evening. Pull up your RV [or rent ours], pitch a tent, kick up your feet and relax by the water. Soak in the sounds of nature and the sight of wild birds, from the Osprey, Bald Eagle and even the Great Blue Heron. We are a pack it in, pack it out leave-no-trace camping site. There are no hookups, but during your stay, feel free to patronize the entire property. The views of the Wye River from the dock are absolutely beautiful and peaceful! There is also plenty of water for fishing, crabbing and even a small, man-made beach! OUTDOOR POOL AND RAFT USE - The outdoor pool is closed indefinitely. There is a 4-person raft and a 2-person inflatable kayak available, for an additional fee per day. Both require PRIOR APPROVAL and a WAIVER to utilize.

Site located on 14 acres and over 2000' of shoreline in Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Pull up your RV or pitch a tent, then sit back and unwind by the water. Enjoy the soothing sounds of nature and take in the sight of various wild birds, including the Osprey, Bald Eagle, and Great Blue Heron Limit 4 people, 1 tent and 1 car on a single site. The views of the Wye River from the dock are absolutely beautiful and peaceful! There is also plenty of water for fishing and even a small, man-made beach! On days where there is great weather, inquire about use of our 2-person inflatable kayak or 4-person raft! Please note that we do not have restroom facilities available for you and there are no hookups. Public restrooms are available at the nearby outlet mall. We are a pack it in, pack it out leave-no-trace camping site. which means that all items you bring with you must be taken back with you when you leave. What This Means for You: 1. Leave No Trace: We ask that you respect the natural surroundings by minimizing your impact. This includes not leaving behind any trash, food waste, or personal items. Please ensure that all waste is properly disposed of or taken with you. 2. Waste Management: Bring appropriate containers for your trash and recycling. If you have perishable items, please plan accordingly to avoid waste. We encourage you to use biodegradable products whenever possible. 3. Respect Wildlife: Leaving food or waste behind can attract wildlife, which can be harmful to both animals and humans. By packing out all your items, you help maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone. 4. Community Responsibility: By adhering to this policy, you contribute to the preservation of our beautiful camping area for future visitors. We absolutely loved RV camping here! The land was beautiful, and waking up to the sound of the water each morning was so peaceful. The hosts were incredibly accommodating. We booked for 2 nights but my boys were having such a good time that they wanted to stay another night, and we did just that. I highly recommend this site!

Wonderful Stay on the River

We had such a wonderful stay at The Agape! The property is quiet, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Shawna, the host, was incredibly gracious—she even laid out firewood for us ahead of our arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. The site was spotless and easy to settle into. The sunrises and sunsets here are absolutely stunning, with plenty of serene coastline to explore. It’s the kind of place that naturally invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment. While there is a small shooting range nearby, it was sporadic and didn’t last long—maybe about an hour—and it wasn’t loud enough to disturb the birds or the calm vibe of the property. I’m already planning to return in the fall—those views will be breathtaking with the foliage. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking to unplug and soak in some peace and beauty.

Shawna & Keith’s Paradise

RV Cinderella Suite

To start the property was massive with almost 360* views of the Wye river. We woke up both mornings early enough to fish and watch the sunrise (which was beautiful). The RV is equipped with everything you need for the weekend and even a little goody basket the owners leave for you. Also they had a electrical heater that kept the RV nice and toasty. It was so peaceful and relaxing, we brought the small blackstone to cook breakfast & dinner with a beautiful view in front of us. Tuckahoe state park is a close drive for a place to hike and fish at and ten eyock brewing was amazing. We ended our Saturday night with a bonfire by the water. Needless to say I would recommend Shawna and there property over and over again even though it was a little pricey. You truly pay for this kind of peace and to be this secluded

The Agape is a beautiful and peaceful peninsula with great views to East and West on the Upper West Wye River. The well treed lot is full of beautiful oaks so that you can choose sun or shade for your camping adventure. Relax and let the natural life of the Chesapeake and Eastern Shore entertain you. Nice cabin in exceptional location

Private Historic Cabin on the Water

This was the nicest Hipcamp site I have visited yet. It was truly 'glamping' in a very well-appointed cabin, with two bathrooms, a full kitchen, heat and AC. The views out every window were fantastic. It was extremely private (even when the site next door was occupied) and peaceful. We felt immersed in nature and spent most of our time on the deck viewing the water. The driveway in is a bit bumpy, but the location is convenient to Route 50 and many amenities. I felt bad that the exit instructions differed significantly from the instructions provided by Hipcamp (not to do the dishes, for example); I would have followed all of the exit steps if I had discovered the differences before our departure time. The hosts were kind and unobtrusive. Their property is large and well maintained. This site is well worth it for a special experience.

Really peaceful beautiful area with an awesome dock/pier that has some unexpectedly excellent fishing and crabbing if you bring your gear (I caught a bucketful of nice sized white perch and even hooked a snapping turtle and a stingray which I let go). Shawna is really responsive and nice. Lots of places to set up a tent though the fireplaces are kind of scattered through the property. Planning on booking again!

Chill, Rest, and take in the Beauty

This spot was everything we were looking for. Private (only 1 tent-ours), relaxing and beautiful. The views were amazing. You can take advantage of both the sunrise and the sunset. The sounds of local birds, waves hitting the shore and the hum of boats going in and out of the bay were a welcome to us enjoying nature. It was real camping so plan ahead-along with your tent you will need a camping toilet, shower and power source. Shawna and Keith were very attentive hosts. They greeted us when we arrived and made sure through out the weekend that we had everything we needed. We spent time fishing (no luck for us), rented their kayak-it was an inflatable that didn’t really work for us-too small for my husband and too low for me. We rested, we enjoyed being outside, we read a book and took a nap. If you are looking for a totally chill time, this is the place for you.

RV Cinderella Suite

We had a great trip staying in the RV for a weekend from Philly. It sits just beside the river on a large property, so it felt very private and secluded. Everything was very clean and well-decorated. They were able to get the stove working just before we arrived, so that made cooking a few meals very easy. We had breakfast at The Jetty (just a short drive away) and it was very delicious and affordable. It was fun seeing all the wildlife around, both during the day and at night. A really great area if you want to get out and explore, but also very relaxing to put a hammock up and just sit in the quiet.

Very nice and clean RV on a beautiful property. There’s no wifi (as stated in the listing) but there are a few basic tv channels to watch, and strong cell signal. The owners are friendly and responsive. Try Harris restaurant nearby for some delicious crab cakes!
