My husband and I had an amazing weekend camping on Joseph’s beautiful property! It’s private and secluded, and provided the perfect layout for our tent camping (just a note to bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to the sounds of nature :-)). We also brought our kayaks and had a lovely time on the water. Joseph is super kind, helpful, and responsive. The property is close to necessities like groceries and gas, and also somewhat close to beaches if you want to diversify your trip. We did go offsite for a bit to check out Makai Brewing, which we thought had some great beers. We loved our time at Joseph’s place so much that we made a second booking before finishing our first!

Everything about this site was perfect. From the well kept landscaping around the large, clear pond to the privacy and stargazing this site did not disappoint! Will be back without a doubt

The Pine Tree Retreat
We tent camped on Joseph's land with our 2 dogs and we had a great time. Every once in a while you can hear a little noise from the road but you can't find a more private camp spot without hiking deep into the woods. The weather turned hot just in time for our trip but we brought some tubes and really enjoyed fishing, floating and just relaxing for a few days. The covered shelter was also a welcome bonus. We would gladly camp here again and our dogs loved it too!

The Pine Tree Retreat
Wonderful camp site that’s private , secluded and peaceful. No one around and dogs are allowed off leash . The pond was perfect for my dogs to cool off and play. The site is clean and the owner supplied fire wood.
The morning mist from the pond and the sun rising was breathtaking. The access road is easy, just follow the arrows once you turn onto the property. I failed to do that and got lost BUT that was my own fault .
I’ll definitely will be coming back -

The property is nice and secluded, we were able to get a 35ft 5th wheel camper back to the camping spot. I did drag the rear jacks a couple of times on the dirt road in but nothing major. Caught several bluegill and a couple of small bass. My wife me, and 3 dogs definitely enjoyed the getaway! We will hopefully be back in the fall for some tent camping!

Beautiful land! Plenty of privacy, firewood, and shelter with a beautiful lake as well. The shelter and picnic table were a big plus. Perfect for our family trip, and my dog loved the place too! We will definitely be back again.

Still Private! Still Beautiful! Still Perfect! Remains one of our favorite camps! Our host Joseph was awesome! The fishing was great! We enjoyed the shelter, fire pit, and the dock (it's beautiful!)

We had a great time on Joseph's land. The entrance off the main road was a little hard to find. We passed it twice, but then once we found the correct road, it was easy to get to the spot. Our Toyota Corolla handled it just fine.
The spot is nicely secluded considering its right off a main road and only 20 minutes from town, which is great because there's a Walmart there that stays open pretty late and lots of other stores in case you forget something or need to do a #2😆.
You cannot see any houses once you get to the spot. Our dog ran around non-stop the entire time we were there and she loved it. This spot was clean, accommodating, and convenient to get to. We only caught very small fish, but it was fun. We threw them back with hopes to visit again in a few months and catch them again once they are bigger.
We really enjoyed it and hope to visit again in the future. Host was easy and efficient to communicate with. Thanks Joseph.

My dog loved the great open space and pond. Plenty of places to pitch a tent and enjoy the privacy of being the only campers there. We appreciated the shelter, the picnic table and the firewood that Joesph provided. It was a good time had by all.

2nd time staying at the Pine Tree Retreat and it was super peaceful and quiet. I don’t live far from here so this will be a regular getaway for myself when I need to unplug and relax.

If you’re looking for peace and quiet you’ve found just the right spot. Highly enjoyed our time here! Plenty of fishing to do, spot to make a fire, shelter and small grill on location. Mr Joseph was just a message away for any questions we had. We will definitely be back in the near future 👍🏼

This was my first camping trip and I must say this site was perfect. Joseph responded quickly to my inquiries and was very kind. He made sure I had firewood waiting upon my arrival. His property is beautiful and secluded so you’ll have plenty of privacy, no other campers in sight. I had the entire lake to myself. My dog ran free and had a blast. I heard some hunting off in the distance during the day but that’s to be expected this time of year. It was quiet & peaceful at night. Definitely booking again soon!

What a great spot! This was our first Hipcamp experience and it was great! The spot was beautiful and remote. We used our 24ft RV and had no issues getting to the camp spot. We fished, had a camp fire, and played games. Our host was great as well. Quick to answer questions and provided us fire wood. We will definitely be back to this spot!

Great, large area with a pond to fish and float in. We grilled, let the kids run around and be kids. We were given plenty of firewood, we even had some leftover. Grill, shade pavilion, a little dock, it has everything you need. Oh and privacy. It's private. Large and private. Great spot!

Joseph was a wonderful host! We had an unexpected emergency and could not make our first night. He promptly refunded us and allowed us to stay a little longer checkout day! So grateful! The property is beautiful and secluded. We loved the pond and so did our puppy! Definitely recommend a stay here!

Site was beautiful and private. Joseph made sure we had plenty of firewood. The dog had a great time playing in the pond, and we even managed to catch a couple bass and brim. Overall a good stay. Road in was in need of a little maintenance , but with all the rain that's to be expected and I'm sure he will get it fixed up soon.
