🐎 Wild Horse Retreat Glamping🐎

Had such a great time at Little Bear! It was my first time glamping and I honestly loved it. The spot is super peaceful with beautiful views and a lake nearby. My partner and I went for morning jogs and even spotted some animals from the nearby farm. The tent had everything we needed, and the bed and linens were super cozy. We grabbed eggs and firewood from them too, which made for an awesome breakfast and some s’mores by the fire. It’s really close to Myrtle Beach, so you get that quiet nature vibe but still near all the fun. Hosts were super friendly and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend Little Bear <3

Our stay here was so peaceful! The place is exactly as described and has been curated with really thoughtful details that made it feel cozy and welcoming. It was the perfect spot for our visit to Myrtle Beach, close enough to everything, but quiet enough to relax and unwind. Definitely recommend!

Perfect Weekend Glamping

We loved staying in the Little Bear! The amenities this space has to offer are endless - lovely outdoor shower with provided towels, covered porch, fire pit and chairs, very clean portapotty, farm fresh eggs (that were delicious!), a grill and all the kitchen wear needed to cook, a mini fridge, flashlights if you’ve forgotten yours, extra blankets, a space heater/cooling unit, indoor and outdoor games, and usb ports connected to the bed for electronics charging. Each site is spaced out enough that you only see people when they are driving to/from their site. It feels very secluded and private. The nature is beautiful; with the pond, trails, and all of the animal sounds! The estate is close enough to the beach that we were able to spend the day at Litchfield Beach and stop at Broadway on the Beach on the way back. We loved it and hope to bring our friends to Laurel Oak’s Estate for a group trip soon!

We are a full-time traveling family of three. During the last two and a half years on the road we've stayed at almost 100 locations. Laurel Oaks Estate is on our top ten list! The property is well thought out, clean, private, and relaxing. We look forward to visiting again while in the area. Bonus: Fresh chicken eggs can be purchased during your stay and the fishing is excellent! We caught quite a few fish in the front pond.

We loved our weekend getaway in the Little Bear. This was exactly what we needed to get away for the weekend. It was very private even with other sites nearby. The hosts thought of everything that you would need to camp, cook, and have fun. It was very well done and we would definitely stay here again!!

It was literal perfection from start to finish! It’s the sweetest area, so remote and quaint! All the wildlife; fishing, turkeys and everything that you can expect to come along in the Lowcountry! Besides the fact that it is the cutest set up, the bed was super comfy, they had all the essentials you could possibly think of. I will 100% be back! Thank you for a wonderful weekend far enough away to feel like I got away but close enough for emergencies!

We really enjoyed our week-long stay here! From initial reservation process, site access info, and location, everything was great! Quiet area close to Conway/Myrtle Beach. Pond fishing, deer, turkeys, misc birdsong, private setting. If we're ever back this way, we hope to stay here again!

This is a great camping spot close to Myrtle Beach. Very nice concrete pad for the RV with full hookups. Very quiet spot and secure with a gate and keypad for only guests to get in.

Little Bear with our “Little Bear”

We had the best time at Little Bear with our dog, Bear! Despite the rain, we were able to take the boat out and explore the property. Sleeping in the tent was extremely comfortable, especially with the air conditioning inside. The outdoor shower was perfect. We loved making s’mores over the fire and were only 8 minutes from downtown Conway. The host was very responsive and even came to greet us upon our arrival. 10/10 would definitely recommend & would absolutely come back again!

Relaxing Family Getaway

The little bear site was the perfect retreat for our family of three. The AC kept us cool in the evenings even in 98 degree heat. The outdoor shower, exploring the land, and viewing wildlife (so many birds!) was the highlight of the trip. We enjoyed relaxing by the fire and the close proximity to Myrtle Beach for a day trip! We certainly will be back. The ease of ordering firewood and the remote nature of the site while being so close to the adorable downtown of Conway makes this family friendly and low maintenance camping!

Site had everything we needed for hooking up the RV. It is a very nice kept place with plenty of room for the kids to run around. They especially loved the pond out back where we used the paddleboat, canoe, and kayaks. We will be back for sure!

There are two rv pads next to each other. Very new and nice. It's tucked up against a wooded area and because we were only ones it was quiet and nice! Beach is about 35 minute drive, thought it was gonna be closer so that was a little more than advertised I believe.

Absolutely Wonderful

Concrete pad, full hook-ups, fire pit, beautiful land…it’s lovely. The surrounding trees are not tall enough to provide shade, so bring your umbrella if you need to. We were just sleeping there, so we stayed in the AC. The owners were wonderful and we enjoyed a lovely chat. I liked that the camping sites were separate from their home. It’s very accessible and easy to back right in. Saving this one for future visits with our college student.

This was a beautiful place, very private. The concrete pad was real nice. A great fire pit with chairs to sit around the fire.(if you have one) although there were ants maybe from new building?? I don't know but not too aweful. Beautiful water fountain on one pond in their front yard. Very green all around. I'd recommend this place!! It's close to a lot of places in Conway. Very nice.

🐻 Big Bear Glamping Tent! 🐻

Little Bear was absolutely amazing!! We had a blast playing corn hole, exploring the trails, and, at night, the place turned magical with the tent lights and the stars above. It was wonderfully private, and our fur baby had an incredible time too. A perfect 10 out of 10 experience! Thank you for sharing this fantastic place with us and creating such wonderful memories.

Don’t miss Big Bear At Laurel Oaks

We normally tent camp but I wanted a little break so we booked Big Bear at Laurel Oaks Estate. It was PHENOMENAL! The accommodations were top notch and the hosts have thought of everything. The trails and pond with kayaks made the trip that much better. Not sure if she was part of the deal but we even encountered a pony on property and very much enjoyed petting her. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay at Little Bear at Laurel Oaks Estate. Plenty of room in the tent. The electrical wasn’t working on our arrival, but Krystl and Pete we’re very quick to respond and help. Provided us a portable heater and propane which was a game changer in the middle of the night when the heater went out. When learning this they provided us a second heater to plug in which worked through out the night. They were very accommodating and kind. We enjoyed having a fire each night and just relaxing. Walked the property and just enjoyed the nature. Close enough to drive to stores, gas station, and downtown if you wish to visit. The shower looked nice and has a sink with hot water. Ports potty was clean. They provide enough basic cooking stuff and serving dishes for at least 2 people (may be more but we didn’t use it since we brought our own). Provided towels (but also didn’t need). Loved the rocking chairs on the deck! Overall ambience of the site and property was great! There are 3 other accommodation sites on the property, but Little Bear is in the back and secluded enough and very peaceful. Would definitely recommend staying here and hopefully we’ll be back! Thank you for a great stay.

Cozy place!

This is the coziest lodge we have ever experienced, providing deep relaxation and a remarkably quiet atmosphere. It offers everything we need, including a shower, heating, and a grill. The lodge's style is so amazing that it gives the impression of being in California, no joke! We had a perfect moment and it was truly the best night ever. We LOVE Big Bear!

Big Bear was AMAZING! Even with the rain, my family and I had a great time celebrating my husband’s birthday. The amenities provided everything we could have possibly needed - the tent was super comfortable, the restroom, shower and kitchen were incredibly clean and well stocked and the hosts, from the moment we arrived, were super accommodating and responsive to any and all of our questions and needs. Camping with the peacock 🦚

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend and the host was amazing. The sight was super cute and and they just about thought of everything one might need. We live the pond right in front of the tent and the visit from the beautiful peacock we were surprised by. Loved the experience and we hope to go back very soon.
