My friends and I had the BEST time at Paps glamp!! Starting with his concern for the weather prior to our arrival, offering to change our dates if needed. We decided to go through and hope that the rain showers would be short, and we are SO glad we did. Upon arrival we were met with a welcoming introduction and he even offered to help us unpack! During our 3 night stay we enjoyed the kayaks, swimming, fishing, and cooking on the charcoal grill and the fire! However I think we can all agree the outdoor shower was the BEST! The tent has so much room to play games when it was raining. The fridge was big enough to hold all our food, the coffee station was perfect, and the beds were comfy! I have no complaints and we would LOVE to come back!! Everything is so beautiful and well thought out, highly recommend staying at Paps!!

This was a great place for a short getaway. We only needed food and things to cook with. The property was well maintained and user friendly. It was a needed relaxing weekend.

Exactly what we were looking for. Pap's had everything we needed and more. From the host, to the location, the accommodations, down to the fishing, we couldn't have asked for anything more. We'll definitely be back when we have the time.

Steve has thought of everything at his campsite. It is so thoughtfully set up and there were so many small details that really made the experience great. It’s not often you have a working toilet at a campsite. The land is beautiful and private. We really enjoyed our time there and can’t wait to go back.

Pap's Glamping was AWESOME!! Everything you need from a HOT SHOWER along with an everyday toilet!! :) Quite the host to meet and greet and familiarize the campsite. A portable AC unit, which was well NEEDED. Not to mention PET FRIENDLY. ENJOYED!!

This was our first time glamping and it was amazing. The set up for the glamping was beautiful. It's just like the pictures. It's hard to find that match. Pap's(Steve) the host was wonderful. He is so nice and made you feel at home. We will be going back!!

I loved the setup. The campsite is very private and he has every convenience from towels to soap. The directions were great and owner was very personable and fun. Lots of woods to explore. The water front was lacking though. Lots of sunk trees and debris to get through for swimming and kayaking. I was not comfortable getting in the water there. Maybe ask to use the neighboring dock to get in and out. Overall the place is wonderful

Pap's Glamp greatly exceeded my family's expectations. We have tent camped for years, and it was a delight to walk into a campsite without having to do all the work of set up. Paps was a fantastic host who went above and beyond what we expected- there were so many helpful, thoughtful details included that made it a true pleasure to stay there. Hooks & towel racks were always where I needed one to be; the beds and linens provided in the tent were comfortable and soft and clean; there was a trail that led down to the water front with kayaks and a hammock. A nature trail wound through the extensive peninsula property. The bathhouse was darling, clean, and big enough so that shower did not get anything else in the bathhouse wet (a rarity in camp bathhouse situations). Even the fire was laid and ready for us in the fire pit on our first night there, and the coffee pot was ready for us to use the next morning. Thank you, Paps, for a fantastic stay at Lake Hartwell!

This was my first glamping experience and Steve has set the bar extremely high. Steve met us on arrival and walked us through the ins and outs of what we needed to know for our few days at camp. He was more than welcoming and extremely kind. My family and I loved the entire camp through and through. From the lake to the weather proof tent, we cannot say enough good things. My personal favorite was the outdoor shower. With a family of five, I was concerned about it running out of heat. To my surprise, the shower was heated by a fcamping device with an internal fire and it was the best way to end long days. My family can’t wait to travel back to Pap’s and you shouldn’t hesitate booking!!
