Weekend Trip to Field Trip Glamping Travelers Rest

While we didn’t get to stay in the dome due to a booking challenge, the host placed us in a super cute A-frame. The grounds were clean and inviting. The over the fire pit rack was perfect for some wood grilled burgers!! The hot tub/sauna/cold plunge was spectacular. There was always a wave to be had by the staff as they drove by. Future glamours should know that the in unit “coffee maker” is a French press, which in a unit with electricity, was a little disappointing, since the trek to get boiling water was at a coffee vending station. Otherwise, it served the purpose well for a beautiful outdoor getaway.

Weekend Trip to Three Story Hollywood Treehouse

Liked how the kitchen, ned room and bathroom were all separated. This made using the restroom more comfortable. There was free wifi. There were real cool things for the kids to do. Rock wall, zip line, netting and tons of games. There was also laundry facilities. The couch pull out was really comfortable. It was pretty and the cats were cute. They also had a nice fireplace set up.

The tree house is fantastic! It’s cute and very functional, with a well equipped kitchen and spacious bedroom. The hosts are welcoming, everything was very clean and inviting, and on our last day I had to pull my kiddo off the zip line so we could make it to the Serpentarium. Highly recommend.

The place is thoughtfully laid out. Love the multiple housing options. We stayed in the yurt, decorated with intention. The lights at night in the trees made the evening feel warm and inviting. Bathrooms were clean. When entering the address in the gps be sure to put in the city Travelers Rest, address defaults to Greenville which is a residential area. Great stay, definitely want to try out another house perhaps the A frame house. :)

4 nights at Prices Bridge Inn & Campgrounds

The A-frame was perfect! Enough space to be able to relax in. Every morning, afternoon and evening, my dog and I would sit on the dock gazing out at the lake with Herons, Osprey, Geese, Ducks and Cormorants all flying past. With the boat ramp right there, we would easily cast off on our SUP for the lake. Jesse, his wife and kids were wonderful and so nice. Their place and land offered so much to do. My dog got to feel like a country dog, interacting with the chickens, running through the woods and snoozing by the fire pit. This trip was exactly what I needed and desired. I loved every minute at Jesse's place.

The views!! Soo beautiful! The communication with Monee was wonderful! The property was perfect for our family of 5 and our dog! There was something for everyone! The camper was so, so spacious! We would love to visit again! 5 out 5!!!! 🥰🤩

This was such a delightful place to stay, and we're already making plans to come back. The Creekhouse is the perfect blend of roughing it with access to basic amenities. My kids enjoyed playing in the creek and exploring the property, and I appreciated the quiet freedom to let them roam. Damon is a wonderful host, friendly and very responsive. When the temperature dropped suddenly, he made sure we had heaters and warm blankets for sleeping, and we stayed cozy. My favorite part was falling asleep to the sound of the creek directly below us.

1 night at Three Story Hollywood Treehouse

We loved staying at the Treehouse during on our roadtrip! This is so much better than a hotel for anyone traveling with kids--a perfect spot for families to gather, rest, and play! If you're roadtripping on I95, it's the perfect spot for getting rid of those too-long-in-a-car-seat wiggles! Kids will run straight to the climbing wall, the net tunnel, and the slides. We found the treehouse itself to be perfect for our needs. The kitchen was great for movie night popcorn and early morning coffee, and it has everything you'd need for full meals! And sleeping space and bathroom exceeded our needs. We ended our visit with an early morning walk to visit the chickens and admire the amazing garden! This place really is a dream--- everything we'd want to build if we were adding a treehouse to our own place!

Easily accessible to Georgetown and surrounding beaches. Easy to find, clean, all the amenities you need at a good price, owners were welcoming and a good source of local knowledge. Would stay again. Thanks ya’ll.

Weekend Trip to Three Story Hollywood Treehouse

No fuss but all needs thoughtfully met. The host had everything clean and ready for our arrival. Appliances and equipment were functional. Our kids loved the play opportunities! If you have high energy school age through tweens, this is a great spot! I appreciated that every play area seemed to also have an "I'm a tired adult" spot to relax and watch them, join in the fun, or look out and check on kids while prepping food and cleaning up. Parents will appreciate this design! Note: there is a neat catwalk to the bathroom and shower (clean and well stocked bathroom!), so if you or your family has equilibrium challenges that might require a buddy to cross. Great experience!

Great place to camp. Super cool place super pretty inside! Everything was tidy and clean upon arrival and host was super nice making sure we had good kindling and wood for our fire! Would reccommend in cool and cold weather and can’t wait to come back in warmer weather for a different experience! The streams and plants/trees are beautiful!

There is local vegetable stands in the surrounding area and many offer fresh eggs. Lexington SC borders Columbia with the Saluda river running between the two cities. Saluda river offers trout fishing, river walks and river adventures with local outfitters. The host had it perfectly clean and well stocked. It has a bonfire pit and a smaller fire pit for outside gatherings and the hot tub was immaculately clean, heated, and ready for use when we arrived. Kids can enjoy swings and slides. We used it for a small gathering where about a dozen guests gathered during the day and six spent the night. Could not have been happier with property or hosts. Fireworks are legal and permitted within reasonable hours. Horses are welcome.

We bought this property recently and have begun renovating the existing home, building garden beds and clearing some of the surrounding woods. The RV site has Full hook up includes sewer, power and water. Some RV leveling is needed but site is compacted gravel with sand soil mix. Site is 25 min to Lexington Medical Center and township &; 30 min to Columbia SC and its area hospitals. Large site 28x50 surrounded by woods and look to the neighboring pond, not part of our property. Perfect for travel nurses or similar. Very quiet, private and peaceful. 10 min to small town Walmart and local bars and restaurants. Lake Murray is approx 20 min away and provides access to boat ramps, boat rentals, marinas and such. There is local vegetable stands in the surrounding area and many offer fresh eggs. Lexington SC borders Columbia with the Saluda river running between the two cities. Saluda river offers trout fishing, river walks and river adventures with local outfitters. Columbia SC offers many attractions including University of SC Gamecock games, Riverbanks Zoo and Colonial Life Arena. Owner lives on property. Dog friendly for those who clean up after their pet.

You really think I would hide something as great as this van under a bushel?? The answer is NO!!Anyway... So then I decided to build a campsite in my backyard so that others could enjoy the van the same way I have. Well now, I have purchased some land and have begun to draft the dream spots. First, I started with a dome... reminds me of a hobbit home, but cooler! I am now remodeling a bus and hope to have that to you soon!
