I loved it! My dogs had a blast playing around the pond and in the woods. Between the frogs and all the birds there was constant music. The pond was full of fish jumping and turtles sunbathing. Natures medley was so relaxing! I did not want to leave and plan to enjoy Scotland pond again.

Overall the experience was great but I didn’t like the fact the firewood was a little damp making it hard for a fire to stay lit

I just stayed for the third time and it's still great. The drive down to the site might be a challenge for 2 wheel drive/low sitting cars (especially after raining) but they have a spot you can park and walk down. Hosts are friendly and respect your privacy. The area has lots of trees for shade. It's quiet for the most part. You might hear some vehicles or dogs barking from across the pond, but nothing that is bothersome. Very peaceful and clean. It feels secluded but it's close enough to Easley that you can run into town for supplies or to grab some food. I'll definitely be back for a fourth trip.

Relaxing, peaceful and private.
My wife and I loved the entire trip. It rained most of the time. However the tree canopy was great when the rain was light.
I highly recommend!
We loved sleeping to the rain or the frogs. Both were nice.
We will be back.
We saw a fish in the lake that had to be over 3 foot long. (Unknown what kind)
Lots of birds and one cat that was doing a great job hunting around the lake.

I loved this place!! It's on a pond with the geese playing in the water and the fire pit right next to it. Sitting next to the fire watching the birds play in the water and my dog run free was pure heaven for me. Don and Stephanie are super hosts. They really cared about my stay there. I definitely want to go back again!

I have been here twice and love it! The pond is so serene, plenty of flat parking for a car camper or for tents. Good amount of wood provided if you buy a bundle. I will be back again!

We had a wonderful time camping here. It felt like we were hours away from town—in the best way. Very secluded, peaceful, and well maintained. The owners have done a great job setting up the site by the pond. There’s a fire ring, picnic table, plenty of shade, and spots to hang hammocks. Our dogs were highly entertained by the geese in the pond. Totally recommend and we’ll definitely be back.

loved it! shovels and cooking grate were provided which was a nice addition. the pond is beautiful and overall the campsite was very spacious. we slept in our cars but could have easily fit multiple tents if we had wanted to!

This place was perfect! Easy to get to and we'll taken care of. We paid for firewood and it was a generous amount that was there on site when we got there. Spoke to the host on the way out and he was very friendly! I would totally recommend. They was some construction going on adjacent to the site, but it wasn't too disruptive.

Cool spot. Some big old bullfrog in that lake. Lots of.wildlife. heard a pack of coyotes pups having a puppy party so if you have a 100 pound german shepherd like i do and nobody has ever explained the "puppy party" it's nowhere near as fun as it sounds so do not let your dog attend🤣 we went to bed around the time Kaiser got his invitation to become one less threat to that packs food supply🤣🤣🤣

We loved the location! It was a hidden gem that was perfect for our visit. Easy to set up the tent and hammock with parking right next to the location for easy access. We needed a spot that was private where our three dogs could roam off leash and this was just that! We paid a small additional fee to use the kayaks and to have firewood ready for us. The fire pit had a grate for our cast iron. We will definitely consider coming back here!

Second trip here. That should say enough! Private camping spot right on the pond. Just detach from the world, unwind, build a fire, relax, look at and listen to nature.

Don and Stephanie’s property was so pretty! It was nice that the campsite was secluded, but still close to town if you need to run out to a store or gas station for something. Our group had a lot of fun there. We took our kayaks and our paddle board around the pond, our dogs loved exploring in the woods, and the fire pit/picnic area was perfect to sit around and prepare food.

The space was clearly marked driving up and the site itself was well maintained and the view was terrific! We had a great stay!
We did try to reach out to the host a few times just giving general updates on our arrival and that we had set up and we never heard anything back. Which was odd based on previous reviews. We hope everyone is okay.
Also the dog was territorial at arrival and was biting at my tires, so if you are afraid of dogs beware.

Nice hosts. Lovely pond and tranquil forested area. I'd be prepared for a narrow downhill site that could be murky after rainfall...Site is around 100 yards from a cell tower...Hosts were very accommodating and let me park in an adjoining field. Would stay again.

I loved this secluded, pond side, peaceful camp site. As described. Easy directions and signage. Friendly and communicative hosts. I recommend adding the fire bundle, so worth it. It was ready at the site on arrival to get my campfire going in the perfectly located firepit. It was few steps to the provided table, to the pond, and to my SUV. Loved that. You could also hear some babbling water, I assume coming from a water feature in or near the pond!? I highly recommend!

I was met upon arrival as well as departure. That shows the hosts care! I absolutely loved it! I really found the peace and serenity that I needed. I won't lie, the evenings were an adjustment. You can really here the local traffic which in turn was taken over by the extremely vocal wildlife. I have always loved trains so they were very comforting to me. But my days were as tranquil as can be and so much room for my dogs to run!! Thank you, thank you for sharing such a beautiful space!

Always a pleasure staying here. Hosts are very friendly. Campsite is private and easy to keep an eye on all the kids. FYI, Secure you cooler and trash bags, there are trash pandas (raccoons) that get curious after you go to sleep. LOL

Beautiful little pond to paddle and play. Very relaxing to just sit and enjoy the view. Picnic table, fire pit, and fire pit shovel provided. A little fresh flower arrangement on the table from the hosts was a nice touch. Would definitely camp here again.

This is the PERFECT spot for a private rustic getaway. The campsite is spotless and spacious. Extremely private near a cute little pond and kyakis are there for rent of only $5. The hosts, Don and Stephanie were friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay there again.
